    • The linoleum stamp to make the wallpaper idea was just magical. I have done it on a much smaller scale for jewelry making with polymer clay and I too cut myself. I absolutely love how your wallpaper turned out, I would purchase that design for myself if I could, it has a “William Morris” feel to it yet it’s still modern enough for 2021-22, just lovely, you’re so talented.

I have one tip for tiling in Photoshop if you don't already know it: Use "edit" > "define pattern" to save your pattern. Then open a new file of any size, click the half black, half white circle button at the bottom of the Layers panel, select "Pattern...," and click on the dropdown selection to select your new pattern and see it tiled at whatever size percentage you wish. I've been making my own patterns by hand for years but only learned that tip a couple of years ago and ever since my life has been SO much easier. Can't wait to see more of your videos!

  • I have spent hours working on repeat patterns for graphic design (books, advertising, etc.) I never had any training in this and now I am very excited by you brilliantly simple technique. The last time I really wanted to do repeat patterns was in high school art class (age 16, 1969) when we were learning to do silk screen printing. I did a three colour design for fabric and my teacher was sceptical but encouraging. (She hadn't anticipated anyone wanting to do repeat pattern). It worked reasonably well and I got a good mark for the project but never tried it again until, in my late middle age, a client asked for a design involving a repeat pattern. (imagine excited panic). It worked to the clients satisfaction but not mine because it took far too much time and I did not feel comfortable charging the client for my learning curve. Thank you so much.

  • I had no idea that one could make their own wall paper. Very interesting and gives me so many ideas. I could make panels or smaller areas instead of a whole wall. Your room is beautiful and restfull.

  • Ahhhh Philip. What a sad (yet simultaneously hilarious) opening! And trying to sneak in your waste pipe tutorial...great! At 11:15 was Philip deliberately being a bit off color. (If so, I loved it!) Anna, what a fantastic result. You are a true artist. (I guess Philip using the pipe as a didgeridoo shows a certain level of artistry...or eternal childishness!) You are both awesome!!!

  • Like a beautifully engineered silk print blouse. Prints that are a hodgepodge drive me crazy so I generally buy nicely engineered pieces or just go for solids or different textures. Love how she used the brushed paint to give it an aged look. I spent years renovating a very old 4 story home and loved the process - even when all the disconnected toilets were placed in he middle of my work in progress bedroom suite. I had a toilet in one floor, a sink on another and a usable bath on another. It ended up absolutely perfect for me and my family. I now live in a studio apt in NYC which requires very little but I do miss he house that I bought in my 20s and lived in for decades. I think this chateau is perfect for them. I look forward to their vlogs. Their home is wonderful.
