The guy in the VH jacket was a great, old school , example of what used to be referred to as a "head". Vintage people buying vintage stuff. Average age at the auction was probably 65 . Good to see prices back in reality. Glad you did well.
Coincidentally, some people call the bathroom 'the head'. Don't criticize the bathroom either😅
Metalhead? 😎
So you're saying probably 3. 4. Heart attacks loading and uploading this stuff....
Was that a Van Halen jacket he was wearing?
What a shame. Not only polluting the environment, but all those vehicles setting there rusting away. Someone could have been making use of them!
My kingdom for that Lincoln. You guys out in the US are so lucky, nothing like these cars here in Europe.
I love it at auctions when you see a bidder get up real close to an item they want. And then back off without bidding when it starts for more than they wanted to pay
Appears not a whole Lotta rust here
Lot of great bargains
Thanks for capturing this auction. I was there and can be seen in several shots wearing a red plaid shirt. I didn't buy any cars, but still had a pickup/trailer load. I thought most of the cars were parts cars at this sale, but for an ambitious restorer there were a few fixers. Most everything at auction site #2 had been under water. That is why the south end of Carrolton, MO is almost a ghost town. It never really recovered from the flood of 92.
Awesome follow up vid, thanks for taking us along 😊 Hi from down under Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks for stopping by the channel Wendy!
Another awesome treasure trove!.Glad you got something out of it.🤗😎
Great you showed this to us. No auctions like this in the Netherlands where I live. Keep up your good work. Thanks again!!
As always it was a very enjoyable video you got some good buys....I really like the caddy truck its just cool to see someones rolling creativity if it will run you should drive it around the rust ranch at least thanks for bring us along looking forward to next week Karl from eastern Canada
🎉🎉🎉great documentation of a great auction. It’s be great to see your purchases back at the Rust RAnch
From Mo. late Father used car dealer always said a item is only " house, car, horse" is only worth what people will pay. News Flash for 2024 Mo. people are honest and not out to hurt anyone. SHOW ME STATE PRIDE! you have to show us integrity and will be shown back.
Many of those parting shots were a thing of beauty. 👍😎
A guy was smart, snagged a lot of two doors!
Mr. B. Here ! 👀😎🍩👍🍔🍔🍸🍸. Mr. Goodpliers the prices were not what I expected ! WOW !
Enjoyed seeing the vintage tin going to new homes.
Great video, thumbs up, you got the caddy elcamino, and the van you wanted, along with a few other things always enjoy the adventures, liked the gy with the chalk, the guy with the spray paint just sprayed
..must be up north...ain't no hills there...:)..i sure do enjoy your show man...
wow, this auction you went to vehicles went cheap!!good deals for a lot of them for sure!!!
GREAT SHOW MR.GP!!💥💯 AUSTRALIA!!🤍💙❤️👊
great filming job,enjoyed it.
Awesome video thank you
Tim glad to see you save the orange van from the crusher. I always bought orange fleet trucks at auction since they were much cheaper. After many years the color has grown on me. It also seems to come back to life easily with a little buffing. I bet you that one is a runner
Long time viewer, please do a video with the van.
glad to see the auction has been a success..
Coral Gables 🌴🇺🇸 VERY enjoyable. Thank you for sharing 👌 🏄
Thanks for stopping by the channel James!
My favorite has to be the Black 53' MERC !
At 11:43? That was a 52 Merc but I'm still watching the rest of the video in case a 53 does show up.
Thank you, enjoyed the video.
I think that may be the first 57 Pontiac I have ever seen and I was old enough then to have noticed. That baby Lincoln was a very neat car.
The Pontiac two door hardtop was a low option car, with a neat shade of metallic green paint. The 4 door sedan was loaded - factory A/C, power brakes and steering
Wow a couple hours from here. Well probably better i didn't know.
This makes me want to watch all the old movies with vehicles like these in it😅
I would love to come live out there just for these Auctions. Here in the UK there isn't anything close to this. Love your Videos. Keep up the good work 👏
Wow amazing: You seemed to be a big player in this auction. It was nice to see you buy quite a lot of interesting stuff.
Off to the Rust Ranch. Hope Joe likes that 1962 Monterey.
Like to see more on the 62 Mercury you bought. I love that era of Ford/Mercury.
Hi Tim It sounds like you bought lots of cars under number 42. From what I saw you got the '59 BelAir, '85 Caprice, '57 Chevy panel trailer, ,'30 Model A, Econoline van & the '49 DeVille converted to a pickup.
you got all winter to get that cadillac ready for the car shows
Great video! That Merc at 11:43 is actually a 52. The round trunk lid emblem plus the vertical lower grille bumper bars are the clue.
Good eye!
That was so fun to watch I really wanted to know how much the corner mounted utility digger truck went for and oh my word those pre-1935-ish vehicles are dirt cheap
Like the 58 del ray coupe. 85 Caprice for $250, nice score. 59 Chevrolet 4 door flat top looks cool.
I’ll tell yah, I really liked your picks.
Down there in Missouri where the men are men and the sheep are nervous
Great job editing!!!
I agree!
Pontiac 1957 , my favorite car .
You and Joe got some good cars, I'm guessing you bought the Caprice, the Ford E-250 van and the rest went to the rust ranch! Would love to see the cars you bought in greater detail. Thanks Tim!
Those are Damm good prices up there!🇨🇱👍
Finally an affordable Deere, the IH trucks and the General were also good buys. What did the GMC 9500 long hood go for?
,,,cool #42.....you got the impala(byscane??)....great vid as always,,,land o' lakes,wi...
Back to reality with value being the price of scrap metal again..good to see people still buying for parts or for restro. The inflated hobbiest/flip trend is almost over as we old schoolers are all almost dead or slowly dying, the market will be flooded with old cars and no takers in another 5- 10 years
Amazing price on that '62 S-55.
Dang! I seen that 57 Dodge Coronet. I’ve got a 58 Dodge Coronet 4 door.
Online bidding is good to see , you know it’s not going to the crusher , at least not yet anyway , it’s a restoration or parts car for sure . Another great video Tim , cheers from Downunder Australia 🍻
Prices seemed reasonable but of course hard to tell the shape when not in person. Get video!
awesome
Hi great video again from you my friend always love watching all your videos is there any chance you would sell the 59 Chevy 4 door hardtop?
Izzy would have bought the 49-50 plymouth conv. + the good 2 door both for under 1500.00, couldnt go wrong. Good cheap conv., project.
Ya did good 42!
Wow, interesting auction. That Chevrolet Caprice was a nice score. Low price too just as it should be. I really hate it when they put crazy high prices on old cars like they do here in East Europe, and when nobody buys them (surprise, surprise) they get sold to a junkyard for fifty euros.
I heard that can of beer you cracked lol
Cars sold for what they were worth….i hope some of these cars get restored. Some nice looking cars for sure! I wish I had time to restore some old cars……been building a 67 Chevy for last few years. I’m too old to take on another old car.
Neat-o. '67 is one of my favorite years. Truck? Car? What model/body style?
@@mr.goodpliers6988 it’s a c10, short stepside, I’m in Alabama, I bought a short wheelbase frame, the cab, bed, fenders and doors are all from different trucks, I bought all rust free pieces as I was able to find them…..I have long way to go…..but, I’ve got all the big pieces and lots of small stuff still needed. Wish me luck !
Shame so many of these cars sat on the ground for a lot of years. Putting cinder blocks under them would have saved a bunch.
I wish I was there, I would of loved to try and buy that 59 Chevy truck, that’s on my bucket list to restore. What’s the best way to research auctions ? Thanks.
Online bidders..the scourge of the good deal!
Did swoop the sweet pickin ride? or did ya give em a run for the money. I couldn't tell
Perhaps it's just me, but .... saying "We 'may' have a title is unacceptable." Either you do, or you don't. 😡
Hopium
They should really know if they do or don't. After all it is business.
More than likely they’ll have to get a salvage title on the majority of them .
That 46-48 Merc 4 door was sweet for $275
59 Impala Flat roof Totally Cool
Wow what a sale and with some hard to pass up prices.
You ever been to Murdo, SD? Dolloff Antique garage and some sort of museum.
I met him at the Oldsmobile dealership auction in Miller. I've caught some of his videos too. Neat guy with a real passion. I liked his 1969 Impala that just sold a little while back
Pioneer auto museum.
Why has everyone got a hat on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i can hear banjos.. steve in Australia I wonder iff any of these cars will end up at Barret Jackson finished. great auction.
Man those prices are nuts.
66 Pontiac Tempest ? It's not like the coke bottle GTO style my dad had with the 1/2 moon type cool tail lights. Maybe a Tempest Lemans that yellow thing is ? 29:24
what happened to the 2 Oldsmobiles.. 1956 88 and the 1956 98 hardtop??? those i really wanted to see what they sold for
You gor a lot of great cars with you. That Impala going to run on tar again?
It definitely could. The engine is free yet
You ask if the other bidder was a online bidder going against you. Why did you not want to bid against a on line bidder?
I assumed that they were a collector, not a scrap buyer. The assumption turned out to be correct - that car was sold to Ohio
Glad the guy with the orange spray paint can didn't get all the cars.
Was that a Studebaker bus down from the Caprice you bought ?
1956 Chevrolet
What was better about the one orange Ford van than the other? (Formerly owned by the city of St. Louis - traffic control division, those trucks were once used here to maintain street signs and traffic lights.)
The one nosed against the fence was the first one auctioned - it sold online. The front end was missing most of the body panels. The one I got is the straightest and completest. The last one was wrecked in the front. All three were equally rusty. The best part is, that the one I got had a 1955-57 Chevrolet two door banch seat in it that is worth more than the van cost me
Was the van full of stuff? Would love to see an unpacking/cleanout video of that. The Cadillac truck is pretty cool too, even if a bit crude and mismatched. Seemed like some really bargain prices if a guy intended to part some of that stuff out.
@@squablow I thought the '50 Plymouth convertible looked like a steal at $500. Although rough as a corncob, the floors are flat and easy to do, and nice 4 door parts cars can be had for next to nothing.
This auction must have had good avertising team. Online bidding/buying is probably the worst thing popularized by the covid epidemic. Getting harder to find good deals in person but i definitely understand the gains from a world wide wallet.
I’d put a LS in that Star Chief
Me gusta el buik sedanet48 ese está bonito y se ve sin detalles de molduras
What’s up with the g t o ? Has anyone started the body work yet ?
Did Silas make it to this one!!
It was a little far for him to make it
oops's I think they had a square bezel with round headlights....no square headlights in 75'.,
👍👍👍👍
My kinds of prices! Rock bottom!
Was there another auction going on at the same time? If so, what was that one selling?
Yes it was a two ring sale. Unfortunately I missed most of the parts, signs, and the hemi engine inside. But from what I heard when I listened from time to time, most of those items brought close to retail
I live in Ohio and around me those cars would sale 2 times has high
I’d got that Del Ray 58
At least you don’t run up the price Tim!
Which vehicles did you get, or are you planning another video on your buys.
Oh yah hey, He shows them at the end of this video # 42.
We believe we have a title....hmm
I'd guess most of the cars purchased will just be moved onto another property to finish their rusting process. When even a restomod build can cost $10k to $50k, even if the rusted hulk was free it is too expensive. I wanted the 36 Ford Sedan, lots of Rat Rod for a $1k there.
Most got cut for parts, or will end up that way. The lion's share of what was there is worth more dead than alive
How can I find out auction date for vehicles like these? These prices was great.
Hibid, Proxibid, Facebook and around the internet
@@mr.goodpliers6988 thanks for replying back to me. I watch your videos all the time. You be at some great auctions. I will definitely google the website you mentioned. Thanks once again for sharing this information.
How much did the Olds dealership signs go for?
I think around $1500, and $500
What happened with the 49 shoe box ford was that sold
All of these were sold at auction
2dr Buick for 275 bucks!
When is the next auction so I can sign up.
They take a break from the middle of November until the last week of February. But once March rolls around, there are tons of sales all over the area
@@mr.goodpliers6988 Ok thanks. I like the Caddy EL Chompo you bought something different. Talk you soon. Ray.
Another smoking deal acution
They all sold low!!
Very interesting. Pretty cheap.
