I am the same but with cats XD I had 10 at one time when my friends were on and they got so annoyed at me as they couldn't change the floor of the house without nearly punching one of my cats.
My friends hate me as I have at least 10 cats and they can't change the floor without punching one of them. Safe to say my favourite place is the villages as you can always find cats there.

bee nests are actually beautiful building blocks in combination with planks and they are insanely rare( if you want large quantities) so a farm of them really isn't that weird
It always amazes me how even after being a huge fan of technical minecraft, playing the game since alpha, and frequently watching the Scicraft showcases Minecraft still has farms and mechanics being discovered and created that surprise me. Who would have thought you get bowls for striking turtles with lightning? Thanks for these, it's always entertaining to see people pushing the boundaries of conventional minecraft, even if it is in the most specific and nearly useless ways possible!

I usually put flowers next to saplings in my regular oak or birch farms so I can get the occasional bee nest block along with my normal yield of lumber. It's pretty nice to be able to use bee nests for things, especially when one of my goals is to make a full apiary.

The lead farm is perfect. You get to kill wandering traders and you get leads
And leather, whitch is always good for item frames or cool clothes
What an interesting video, favorite farm has to be the wandering villager. They are definitely my main source of leads

4:17 it's not weird, it's useful. A famous minecraft youtuber made one of these as a phantom membrane farm, and it works so well
I use wolf farms to make a wolf army. First, I tame 2 wolfs, then I go overboard and breed all the multiple wolfs again and again and then I kinda have a legit wolf army that can kill any non-boss aquatic mob. edit: The farm is to store the wolfs. edit again. I really hate seeing llamas die for when all you need is the trader to die edit times 3. I really like editing. Edit again. why do keep editing? anyways yes imma get into a lot of snowball fights, because it's fun

Actually bowls are pretty useful. Me and my friends have a world where we have all the best stuff and are making the auto farms to do the huge projects and we always had a food shortage no matter what we did we had a shortage among us. So me and a friend came up with the idea of mooshrooms for food and it’s the best decision we ever made. Literally unlimited amount of food at our fingertips. All we do is carry around a shulker box full of mushroom stew and when it’s empty we take it and fill it up again. I definitely recommend this
just make a hoglin farm or trade with villagers

I play touchscreen. I never have to kill the trader because he despawns naturally after a while and leaves llamas and leads behind. All I have to do is pick them up.

For the cat gift farm phantom membrane is used for elytra repairing and slow fall potions
The most useful item out of those is the rabbit's foot in my opinion. You don't get enough of the other types of items for it to count but the foot could be marginally useful in some cases. Putting mending on an elytra makes it repair itself, and you don't REALLY need slow falling

I actually often use ferns as a decoration for gardens and forests. And while I never built a fern farm I sometimes collect a few stacks of ferns when I find a taiga or jungle biome.

He suggests a Bonemeal Farm is something you maybe haven’t heard of before. I’d argue that it’s one of the first things you should be building. Also, to answer the narrators question, you need Dragon Breath to enchant arrows depending on what version you play.

You probably play bedrock edition. Fish have a higher chance of dropping bones(25% to be exact) whereas on Java edition fish have a 5% of dropping bonemeal.

About the cat farm: That one you showed is good enough for bedrock, but on Java cats work a little differently. See, when you have a bunch of cats, they'll all try to hop up on your bed and sleep next to you, but only one can succeed each night, and only that one will produce a drop. But if NONE of your cats can reach your bed, then in Java specifically, EVERY tamed standing cat has a 70% chance to produce a drop. That means if you put a TON of cats into boats or minecarts or tie them to leads far enough away from the bed that they can't reach it, you can get way more than one drop per night.

I feel like an improvement on that fish-bonemeal farm would include axolotls, since whenever they kill a fish, that fish drops itself *and* a bone.
This video is fairly old. When they mention a dirt farm they don't even mention moss, with 1.18 you can build a dirt/bonemeal/moss(and all the blocks moss makes) farm that doesn't require a player... that also doesn't depend on mobs, just stone genorators and some redstone.
