Building a High-Precision Belt Grinder (Plans available)

Nobody really asked for it but here it is - the condensed, super fast version of my Belt Grinder which I have since named the "PVB-1". Since the long videos with voiceover are not for everyone and some people prefer to just see the thing get made quick like in my old videos, I decided to create some "Directors Cuts" of some of my longer videos starting with the Belt Grinder build which was originally released as a more in-depth 3-part series. I tried to keep this as short as possible, but it's a lot of content to squeeze into just 30 minutes.
If you haven't seen this build yet and are interested in a more detailed version, you can watch the original series here:
Part 1: • Building a Machinists ...
Part 2: • Building a Machinists ...

  • This has to be one of the best machining videos on KZhead. Design, machining, attention to detail, video editing, 10/10 in all departments.

  • Before buying this sander I would use a rotary sander kzhead.infoUgkx3Pc2vLXfcgM5oIpF1iYcIWyFhHUC-G6v and didn't see the need for a belt sander. Boy was I wrong. this belt sander does the job quickly and gives a professional finish to the wood work.

  • Excellent work as always. I appreciated this condensed version since it was pure entertainment watching the entire series boiled down to 30 minutes. Very much so liked the original series as well! Thanks for sharing

  • Unlike the many, many, 2x72 belt grinder fabrication videos I've watched, this one is performed by a professional machinist perfectionist. I've never enjoyed watching any build video as much. I am in awe. Thanks for this.

  • I've watched the extended version 3 times, and shared it with many people. I believe it's the best belt sander build I've ever seen. I like your narrated video's a lot as well; they're helpful, and easy to listen too. Keep up the good work! *God bless.*

  • Wonderfully soothing to watch a sculptor do his art :) I have watched a fair few machining videos over the last decade or so, but the wheel coming to a stop at 12:27 is the coolest machining shot I can recall - you would not have a hi-frame rate version of that? :)
