Welcome, KZhead Minecraft viewer, to Hermitcraft Season 10! I am a proud member of Hermitcraft, and this will be my 7th season on this amazing Minecraft SMP server!
Hermitcraft is a Minecraft SMP server featuring some of KZhead's best and most talented Minecrafters. The server is 100% Minecraft Vanilla 1.20.4! This is Hermitcraft Season 10, and we are joined by two new Hermits, Skizzleman and Smallishbeans.

I own all distribution rights to the audio in this video. I also have the rights to make videos showing off the program Minecraft.   • Mumbo probably wouldn't have died anyway, since if he was holding shift, he would've climbed the scaffolding and not taken any fall damage.

    • Would probably still work since Mumbo wasn't prepared for scaffolding. But yes there is a way to survive if you are falling on scaffolding.

    • I think like the swamp slime farm last season, Mumbo is onto something with holding shift with your thumb. I mapped one of the side buttons on my mouse to shift and now I can hold shift with my thumb as well quite easily.

  • Now granted I am 100% sure thwt mumbo did not know this, however even if you placed it fast enough, you can shift while falling onto scaffolding and take no damage, so the whole thing was just flawed from the start.

  • I reckon that was a lesson in lag, despite the painful hesitation on your part, it looks like the scaffold was placed in your client, but there weren't enough milliseconds for Mumbo's or Grian's to be told about it by the server. Loving this start to the season.

  • 15:40 also if Mumbo was holding shift then he would not have taken damage landing in scaffolding as that is how you do a clutch with scaffolding.

  • I suggest you hide TNT in the road as a trap. You could add pressure plates to the palate to make it less suspicious and it's rebuildable if you mess it up. The only problem is it might take a while so it could happen off camera

  • Not sure if its the same on Hermit craft servers, but in the Xbox version if your crouching while falling and you land on scaffolding, you take no fall damage.

  • Also, 1) the scaffolding went to the danger block, but glitched in and out 2) Mumbo was shifting while falling. He went through the scaffolding while it existed. But the scaffolding didn't exist when he landed so it looked like you didn't place it.

  • You know Ren.... if you hold shift while hitting a scaffholding, you go through it and don't take damage. If Mumbo held shift, you would've failed regardless.

  • You should have a specific style of road for each part of the server, maybe in the rural parts you have it in this style, and like with Us highways you could call the route 1 route 2 etc

  • Noted. Hold shift any time you jump into a hole. Got it Btw. if Mumbo was shifted (which I don't really think so, but whatever), then even if the scaffolding was placed in time he would just start climbing down the scaffolding and wouldnt get hurt... So if he was shifting then the plan was never gonna work

  • Camino real. (Royal road). Just don't tell Smallish he will get jealous. You could encourage other hermits to decorate the road and put up signs to where they live. Make it a community project.
