When Sundell gets going, she is a damn tank. Super strong and accurate and just awesome to watch and Rordrigues is excellent.

Yes, first things first, Allysia Rodrigues is very good. She's strong, hits hard, has good control in the clinch, and has good resilience. Smilla Sundell, on the other hand, is, quite frankly, a beast. She has a tremendous gas tank, excellent balance, hits hard, has a ton of resilience, and is good in the clinch...but for me, what separates Smilla from everyone else I've seen her fight, is that, she's very good working from the outside, bunches of punches and kicks, knees and elbows from distance, but when she gets you inside the phone booth, she's still hitting hard from every direction possible, yet still with the power of the outside shots. Great fight!

Rodrigues was game AF but she just couldnt land a hard enough shot on Sundell. Sundell just looks like she is in a heaver weight class than Rodrigues.

It looks like Rodrigues was told what she needed to do, but she wasn't ready. If you are a much shorter opponent, you should automatically assume that you need to fight inside. However, to fight inside your cardio needs to be in tiptop shape, you need to be very persistent and your defensive skills inside need to be learned as well as the offense. If you let your much taller opponent achieve complete extension, then expect to be hit with bombs.

Great fight. Rodriguez should not have started clinching, she took too much damage in my opinion. Sundell on the other hand is tough as nails and just keeps on attacking with amazing accuracy and power. Her length is another benefit too.

To be honest, I think it is a bit an unfair fight set up from ONE Championship - as there is a huge height/reach difference for one of the ladies - even if the weight maybe is similar. The adavntage in reach is not to overcome by Rodrigues. Just look at the knees - how easy Sundell can reach the chin of Rodrigues, and the ellbows she just need to knock downwards... - not everybody is a giant killer like Senchai.... I really feel bad for Rodriguez as she is such an amazing fighter .... Anyway what though young ladies.
It’s always going to be based on weight. Both fighters have advantages but the tall one is just better and tougher.
