It is because the ring has good lighting, they are both very lean and have no shirt on, and there were almost no other people to compare them to. They would probably look like average fit dudes in shirts.

    • @@nadnavlis240 I don't care how the scoring system works. If one fell on the floor so many times that should be seen as disadvantaged, this is especially true in a street brawl. In this Kickboxing match, the ref would stop the sweeper as soon as the other guy fall on the floor. In MMA, being on the floor will be a big disadvantage. If this is how scoring work in Kickboxing, then this sports will have no potential for growth in viewership.

    • What are you saying? Have you ever seen/trained any martial arts even remotely similar to kickboxing? There were absolutely feints, just not any over exaggerated ones used in amateur stuff, also it is harder to see from camera, as they feints are meant for the opponents and not the audience. Over exaggerating feints leaves you open for counters, works worse often when facing a high level opponent. You, no offense, obviously don’t know what you are talking about. For example 2:16 there were feints to set up the left knee, and immediately in the engagement after, akimoto feinted a cross, tough he got push kicked away after. Soon after that qiu feinted a teep before doing a punching combo.

  • Akimoto is very good ... but Qiu is just a little bit better. I love the way easily and repeatedly sweeps and drops Akimoto like a tiger swatting a ghazelle with it's paw, that's skill! Qiu is my winner.

    • Can’t believe that Akimoto was declared the winner. I counted 10 times that he was swept down the floor!😅
