The amount of hate you are showing over a fiction character is worrying, especially a character that is actually okay when you get to know him and learn his story. Part of his character concept is about how abuse and trauma can affect how a person acts and how people can overcome it and become a better person with the right support. Like I understand not liking a character, a character I dislike the most is Edelgard from the fire emblem series but I am not going on every video about Edelgard (I usually don't watch videos about her at all) and comment about how much I dislike her. I mean it's like people like you are just trying to be "cool" and "different", like hating a fictional character and hating on people who like him somehow makes you better, when in reality it makes you seem like a edgelord trying to stand out.

Yup I got Ritual Caster just to be able to cast Speak with Animals (and Find Familiar) without spending a spell slot, and it's the first thing I do every morning. So happy it lasts the whole day in BG3 - in D&D it just lasts an hour iirc.

0:52 FWIW the camera is just super buggy in the Underdark camp in general, has been as far back as I can remember in EA, I think because of all the different elevations in a small space? If it's not the camera clipping through the floor with OB or Scratch, it's Halsin looking ~8m tall because he's stood halfway up the hill and the camera does not know how to handle it.

I really hope I will get the owlbear. I met the cub with his mom and came back to the cave to see her dead (because I didn't want to kill her then adopt her puppy, it feels horrible so I let the Goblins kill her since she's going to die regardless and you can't avoid that) but I didn't know the cub was at the goblin camp until it was too late so I didn't interact with him and I don't know if I'll see him in my camp.

You’ll save him from the Goblin camp in Act 1. Talk to Krolla and she offers a game of Chicken Chaser. Once you win the game, you have to use persuasion to free the owl cub from her.

Yes, it does. The first time it appears in the camp, there is always a cutscene where one of the companions accidentally scares it away. So, no worries! :)

I've done two playthroughs of this game and both times I left Asterion on the beach. My Lathander cleric doesn't truck with vampires, and my Fighter just plain didn't like the guy. I've missed every little last bit of content involving him.... but every time I see a clip, I remember that I'm okay with that.

I love the voice for the cub tbh. Sounds like a little boy trying to make his voice sound deeper and more intimidating rather than going to the default of high-pitched and cutesy. I find the cub more endearing with this voice!

0:52 FWIW the camera is just super buggy in the Underdark camp in general, has been as far back as I can remember in EA, I think because of all the different elevations in a small space? If it's not the camera clipping through the floor with OB or Scratch, it's Halsin looking ~8m tall because he's stood halfway up the hill and the camera does not know how to handle it.
I laughed when the game just assumed I had rescued the cub and not annihilated the whole goblin camp so it never got captured in the first place 😅

I really hope I will get the owlbear. I met the cub with his mom and came back to the cave to see her dead (because I didn't want to kill her then adopt her puppy, it feels horrible so I let the Goblins kill her since she's going to die regardless and you can't avoid that) but I didn't know the cub was at the goblin camp until it was too late so I didn't interact with him and I don't know if I'll see him in my camp.

in my game the mom never died, I defeated all the goblins before going in the owlbear cave and they were both still there

I hate the fact that I rolled up on his mom and killed her by accident and .....welll I don't know if I failed to recruit him yet but....I think I have. And I definitely hate that.
You actually have to kill his mom to trigger the next phase in the recruitment.

Owlbear is the only reason i put the Goblin camp down. Because they kill his mom. And they're not nice to him 😢 i m so happy he came to me. He and Skratch was my best coice in this Game. 😅 ( I not sure about Astarion and my Tav 😂)

You’ll save him from the Goblin camp in Act 1. Talk to Krolla and she offers a game of Chicken Chaser. Once you win the game, you have to use persuasion to free the owl cub from her.
@@Effaly_ not necessarily if you enter the owlbear cave, get her to let you leave and then come back after dealing with the goblins, she will have been killed (without the cub endung up in caltivity?) and the cub will appear the next night

Yes, it does. The first time it appears in the camp, there is always a cutscene where one of the companions accidentally scares it away. So, no worries! :)
it sounds like an adult that blew up into a balloon to sound like a kid but then it just sounded even more uglier than normal all because it can't do anything but get even uglier by its sides without wings

I've done two playthroughs of this game and both times I left Asterion on the beach. My Lathander cleric doesn't truck with vampires, and my Fighter just plain didn't like the guy. I've missed every little last bit of content involving him.... but every time I see a clip, I remember that I'm okay with that.
