I want a version of this video with manual transmission cars. Man, those CVTs are just so slow and lack of torque and response compared to the manual versions.
I used to have a Polo but I totalled it and now have a March. The March in Mexico has a more powerful engine than the one in this video. Still miss my VW

As A 500 Abarth owner I was rooting for the fiat the whole time. I new it had a good chance with its light weight and wide tires but the Drift King is king for a reason. Good race. I wish we had Polo Gti’s here in the states.

Yeah as Punto owner i love Fiat's because in India even Fiat Punto is to old now but still looks timeless and few hidden features Fiat gas in India no one has this features🙂
Polo GTI is basically a slightly smaller Golf GTI. The new gen Polo GTI has the same 2.0l turbo engine the Golf has and the older gen Polo has the 1.8lT the older gen Golf has as well.

@@SI0AX yeah, I got a ibiza "seat branded polo basically" with the same 1.2L turbo engine, it also has a remap and it pushes out 135 hp, I took out the tyre and toolkits from the back, took the backseats out and that car rips

for the everyday family, Honda's Jazz/Fit is a vastly superior car to the rest of these. Twice the interior size, with better fuel efficiency and especially compared to the Fiat and VW, insane reliability and very cheap maintenance.

My father owns a VW and 2 Mercedes. If anyone can compare quality of those cars, it's me. VWs interior quality is garbage. Every plastic is crackling and squeaking. VWs reliability is even more garbage. And the driving feel of the car is WAY worse than a Honda. My Honda Jazz GD (2004) has a similar quality and feel, to our 2007 W211 E320 Mercedes. The Jazz was a 20K car. The Mercedes was an 80K car. AND THEY FEEL THE SAME. Yes the Benz has insanely more features, but the ACTUAL FEEL of the car, the actual FEEL of the interior buttons / plastics / seats, etc. is NOT better than the Honda. And remember. That's a Fully Equipped E-Class Mercedes. That's not a piece of shit VW polo with a gear lever that feels like a stick in a sandbox. -.-

I like the competition and the comparison. The lack of march was the cvt transmission. Well in all cars I was waiting manual transmission, but is a nice video in a Known Circuit: Tsukuba. Is like Gt4.

The Up and the Fox are a bit to small for some cars like the Fit or the Swift. Overall it seems very unfitting to put these cars together
Not really, Nissan Micra, Swift, Polo, Jazz/Fit are all B segment hatchbacks. The Polo 1.2 tsi 105hp(turbo) here is one engine above the rest - and therefore a lot more expensive. If you would buy a basic Polo for similar price as the rest, that would buy you a 1.0 3 cylinder naturally aspirated 80 bhp, which would have clearly lost this race as the Polo is relatively heavy.

I had a Micra 2016 but it had good acceleration then. I liked the power but the quality was not great. But this video made me feel bad🤣🤪

Ok but it was not a totally fair race, as the VW Polo also has a naturally aspirated basic engine (80bhp i think) as well as the other cars and it would have clearly lost this race with that one. This version here is by far more expensive than the other cars. The second interesting thing is, all these cars had automatic transmissins here, and at least in Europe no one would buy these small hatchbacks with automatic gearbox. Anyway, if these cars were 100% stocks, its a great thing that they didnt fall apart on the race track in the first place - tires and brakes get extreme wear in conditions like this.
The polo was a turbo (TSI) the other cars were NA.

But why CVT???? Its obvious that the vw vith DSG and the fiat with their own gearbox is shifting like manual. its all about gearing.
In India, we have the names like Nissan Micra, Suzuki Swift, VW Polo, Honda Jazz. The toyota and fiat models in this race are not available. For Economy Swift is best, for Build and Power Polo is best in India.
Maruti suzuki swift and Suzuki are built very different, suzuki's build better and it's heavier than indian version
Ps hatches are dying in india, in terms of new gen hot hatches we have i20 Nline which is not that great. Tata altroz is good in other aspects but sucks big time in performance department. Old polo has finally been discontinued and new polo is over 4 meter so that will increase it's price if they bring it to india. So no new hot hatch anytime soon 🙂
