For a character who was initially meant to just be a side character, she has definitely grown into a fan favorite over the years. I’m in love with Harley Fucking Quinn. She is my absolute favorite in all of DC.

I'm glad she went more expressive with the accent in this film. I remember an interview with the first film she mentioned wanting to go full flair but decided to tone it down so her voice wouldn't overly contrast her costars

People seem to underestimate Harley and completely forget that she’s incredibly smart and a very skilled gymnast. People tend to focus on her insanity only, which she is of course, but they think her character is just the “crazy girl.” In the comics, she has proven herself to be lethal sometimes, and even smarter than the Joker.
She was a practicing psychiatrist, so she’s highly educated. Has it ever been explained why she was suddenly a high-level gymnast, martial artist, and weapons expert when she became Harley Quinn?

Harley Quinn is an icon in the DCU! We love her! And I love her! I used to be obsessed with her and every now and then I’ll find myself coming back to her. I don’t know why but she’s just a really fascinating character……crazy, but fascinating. She looked so beautiful in that dress. I love the part when she breaks the guard’s neck with her thighs. That was a totally badass moment. The Suicide Squad was awesome!

Do you understand how this works? Now what in the fucking hell makes you think that the Nicholson or Ledger or Pheonix Jokers would want her to be their partner? That she would want any of them? That their respective brands of villainy are even remotely compatible with hers? The Nicholson Joker horribly disfigures and enslaves the "women he loves". You think the Robbie HQ would put up with that shit? I think she’s too modern and stealthy for Heath.. besides he plays the role so well there would be conflict bc Margot plays Harley very well too. Too much greatness in one movie would and could cause drama. Plus he’s old school and she’s new school.. 🤔

I love the black and red hair. I'm not a huge fan of the wig though. I can really tell it's a wig and the way the color was applied just looks weird to me. The first Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey made the wigs look way more realistic. The start of this movie when she had her hair braided was really good but it just looked odd for the rest of the movie. Idk maybe I'm just too picky lol

A Deadpool and Harley Quinn crossover movie needs to happen
The scene when she shoot the president was truly a Harley Quinn moment in its trust form from her killing a guy that she liked instead of turning him down because he was fine with killing kids, to her statement about all his pretty little evil thoughts being all over the floor, to her going sane for 5 sec to question that a gun used for display purposes actually had a bullet in it. It’s scenes like this and her escape that shows us that The Suicide Squad understood Harley Quinn more then the Harley Quinn movie. Oh and the Harley Quinn movies version of Black Canary was shit to.
I agree. Personally, this is only the time I’ve liked modern Harley Quinn, other than in her animated show. I feel her other appearances in the DCEU as well her comic counterpart are what every edgy emo 13-16 girl imagines themselves as but here she feels truly unhinged.

Dead shot also stood out to me in the first suicide squad and he had the same colors as everyone else. I guess it's because of the banter BTW him and Harley Quinn but also because of his acting or maybe simply because he was played by will Smith.
