Only in the OG ps2 version, this track got removed for who knows why in the HD collection, i was so hyped up to play it again on ps5 due Sony streaming it via PS plus but then got disappointed badly when it didn't play the track, it was a way different one and just closed the game after that. I will never understand why developers don't leave stuff original and always mess things up with making stupid choices.

The older games of mvc is good too as well but they're insanely hard and insane! it seems mvc3's difficulty is more downgraded even if you choose very hard difficulty in there

Literally beat 1 today and I started with 4. 1st DMC I beat was 2 because I was a pea brain child so 1 was hard af and I got lost so 10 years later I finally cave and buy the HD collection. Long story short I didn't feel at home until I heard those techno riffs lol. I love DMC1 despite Nightmare being the only boss I genuinely struggled with and inverted flight controls. So now I gotta beat 3 lol my brother didn't so I never went back (PS2 memory cards n such)

@@camharkness I indeed did go back and completed all of 3 Platinum'ed that & 2 kinda putting off 1 platinum funny enough it's the only main line title I haven't 100% yet. But all I can say about 3 is: it has the best story, iffy bosses, but fun af gameplay and probably my favorite level design because they do back tracking really well. But nothing prepared me for the 4 hours of DMD Vergil. I just got to the point I kept Bury the light on repeat after the 1st hour of attempts.

1 was ghetto tank controls, the hardest combo chains in the business, bullshit damage, and a ridiculous number of banger tracks. if this game never happened, none of them would have happened. 1 and 2 are still the best imo, with 2 being top for gameplay, 1 for music.

I remember when dmc was a surviving horror. Like the last levels of the game it went straight to horror. Dmc 2 was the last surviving horror game of dmc. Until dmc3 changed it all.
DMC3 was the worst, DMC4 was better.

Literally beat 1 today and I started with 4. 1st DMC I beat was 2 because I was a pea brain child so 1 was hard af and I got lost so 10 years later I finally cave and buy the HD collection. Long story short I didn't feel at home until I heard those techno riffs lol. I love DMC1 despite Nightmare being the only boss I genuinely struggled with and inverted flight controls. So now I gotta beat 3 lol my brother didn't so I never went back (PS2 memory cards n such)
Idk if you've started dmc 3 yet, but get ready. It's one of the more difficult dmc games.
@@camharkness I indeed did go back and completed all of 3 Platinum'ed that & 2 kinda putting off 1 platinum funny enough it's the only main line title I haven't 100% yet. But all I can say about 3 is: it has the best story, iffy bosses, but fun af gameplay and probably my favorite level design because they do back tracking really well. But nothing prepared me for the 4 hours of DMD Vergil. I just got to the point I kept Bury the light on repeat after the 1st hour of attempts.

lmao I was looking at the comments to see if anyone else mentioned this I played MM 3 a lot as a kid (like probably about age 9-14 or something) and then I played DMC 3 in my 20s and it threw me for a loop hearing this

So I first played this one after playing 3,4, and 5 And I just watched the cutscenes for this game. Eventually I did play and beat it but I didn't like it for some reason. That was back in January 2021. I went back to replay it a few days ago and I love it now, such a fun game even though it's a bit stiff and simple
It was meant to be the new resident evil or something, so i imagine that's why, (besides the obvious technology limitations of the time) it shows when you realize you can't shoot whithout aiming just like in those games

1 was ghetto tank controls, the hardest combo chains in the business, bullshit damage, and a ridiculous number of banger tracks. if this game never happened, none of them would have happened. 1 and 2 are still the best imo, with 2 being top for gameplay, 1 for music.
