  • Bauer, you seem a little homesick. Why don't you visit an environment that reminds you a little more of the US? For example, there is a US military base within walking distance of Yokohama Stadium (about 5km). Why don't you make an appointment and meet the children at the base? Or, Yokosuka, where the training facility is located, also has a large U.S. Navy base. If the cause of your stress is not homesickness, How about getting in touch with Japan's abundant nature? Near Yokohama there are beaches in Shonan and mountain lakes and hot springs in Hakone. You don't need a car to get there, just a Pasmo and a 30min- to 1hour train ride! You will be able to relax. If you like the Imperial Palace, you will also enjoy the Great Buddha in Kamakura and Odawara Castle. There are many places of interest in the Yokohama area (Kanagawa Prefecture) that can be reached by train!

  • Very cool discussion on various sliders with Trevor's teammate and the reflection on the game, what worked, what didn't. Gives the viewer insight to the high-level chess game being played at that level. Baseball commentators provide very little of this type of insight. We need more game within the gam info. Helps the next generation coming up be successful. Break the mystery.

  • First off Trevor, I just really appreciate that you're sharing so much of your life,.........practices, bill pens, how you're feeling, walking around the city.c this might be a sad thing to say but this is the most of Japan I've ever seen in my life. I feel bad about that. I need to be more worldly. But the ln lastly, I played class A ball for 22 years. Never moved up from there but baseball was my life since I was 6. But I got hurt in 2010 and was out the rest of that season and all of the next season. So a year and a half. I tore my labryum. Not a fun injury. But I came back. I was in the best shape of my life. And I was 35. My cardio was better than ever and I was throwing hard. Came back and lost my first two games. Then got taken out of the third game in the second inning. Just getting lit up. Finally on the fourth game everything just clicked again and I was back in the groove. So it might take a bit. But you will get it. You're one of the best pitchers in the world. You've got this.

  • Bauer bounced back with a great minor league start today and got the win! Remember he’s just getting back on the mound in these environments - a bit of time to adjust and work things out is okay, and don’t forget how well the first NPB start went either! Bauer’s line from today: 😄 6 IP, 1 ER, 0 BB, 10 K :)

  • I don't follow baseball much. I have been really interested in watching your approach to the game, preparation, analysis, and now the transition to Japanese baseball/culture. It's fascinating and I really like your content and self-analysis. Wishing you tons of success. I also think this video is insightful to the end result. Earlier in the video there was a section about your having trouble keeping the splitter down...and then it appeared that during the game, all your pitches were hanging and not below the zone....I'm sure you will make the adjustment to keep it down, and looking forward to watching that progression. Let's Fing Go!!

  • I was there in the stands watching my first NPB game, also got lucky that I got the timings right on your pitching day. It was just unlucky they got your number that day. Almost had a rally on the 8th and 9th, but fell short. Still enjoyed seeing you do your long throws in the outfield and hearing your name being announced as the starting pitcher. Hope to see you pitch again when I return to Japan! Ganbatte Bauer-san!

I have a complete confidence in your series of success, nice pitching soon at NPB too! As you are a KZheadr too, I have a big favor. Just as the US has the Pitching Ninja, we too have pitching scientists, institutes in Japan too. I am very curious if you, a pitching doctor from MLB talk with them, exchange thoughts, what kind of positive chemical reactions may happen? Please try & share your reports! Below is the list of such pitching scientists & institutes in Japan, I believe the depth of their understanding is close to yours: - Ken Maeda. - Takashima Gym. - Indigo Conditioning House. - Train with Daimon (Japanese pitching scientist in Hawaii) - IWA Academy. Thank you bro!

If you ever read this I’m sorry about what happened in the states but if you never left the states then maybe you never make this channel and then you don’t have the ability to impact so many people on a much closer connection

That means you’re always the GOAT, and you’re simply going through the occasional struggles we humans go through. Hang in there, true fans and baseball players know you’re the real deal.
