The most under appreciated British sports person. A lot of people seem to forget if it wasn’t for Amir, boxing wouldn’t have had any funding but after he went and got a medal in the Olympics everything changed. Two time world champion, never ducked any fighter and would have easily beat Mayweather in his prime. Not to mention probably the fastest boxer in our generation. Never took himself too seriously and always gives us a good laugh. Maybe if his skin colour was white he’d be much more appreciated 😉

Not a fan off Amir Khan as a Boxer but after hearing his come up as a boxer hats off to him . He paved the way for south Asians in to the boxing world. Great podcast

Amir didnt fall out of love with boxing he's proud to show off his belts and attends many boxing events, Amir loves boxing and he needs to stop saying he fell out of love from boxing he needs to understand that nothing is forever and he doesnt need to give us a reason to justify the natural course of life that nothing is forever everything comes to an END !!!

He's had a great career for a fighter who wasn't naturally the best, as he admitted. Slightly awks talking about drug cheats in boxing with what came after with his doping ban but it's on such a small scale to Lamont Petersen, for example.
