What I always loved about Khan is that he always talked about learning from each fight. Brilliant mindset that too many boxers seem to lack. Never thought he knew it all. Always trying to grow as a fighter and step up to the next level.
His chin was his weakness but he did get better at taking punches throughout his career. Not very many ppl can take a punch like that from maidana

I noticed that too. Some of the hits he took looking at the clips after that knockdown fight looked much worse to be honest and he took them and kept coming. Wouldve been interesting to see Khans speed vs Mayweather. I think the fastest puncher Floyd faced was Judah, who he had a little trouble with in the beginning, but Khan dominated him. And Khan throws combos like crazy. Floyds slickness might still win but he prob wouldve been troubled with someone faster than him.

Ryan Garcia reminds me a bit of Khan, fast hand speed..maybe a bit more power but he does have defensive vulnerabilities and can be dropped...Hope he can fix those..that said, Khan did pretty damn good despite being prone to knockouts
Amir has been a credit to his country and his sport. A true gentleman, boxing as we like to see it. He has been floored a few times with a suspect chin but he has been a super advert for the fight game in the UK.
He was brilliantly quick to quit. Absolutely unmatched in speed there, second to none. My hat off to him.
He always has been a hype job. Nowhere near as good as Naseem Hamed, Joe Calzaghe, Chris Eubank or Nigel Benn. He is more like Frank Bruno and Ricky Hatton, good but not great. The British media are o blame for making hem out to be more than they are. Just like they are doing with Anthony Joshua right now. He ain't the real deal.

It’s not his chin that was problem, it’s his defensive technique that exposed him to really massive shots that a fighter at his level would normal won’t get hit with.

Khan - King Cobra, some of the fastest hands boxings ever seen. Khan one of the bravest boxers out there, never ducked anyone and made no excuses, or disrespected anyone. I think Khan should have continued at lower weights rather than chasing the big money fights like Canelo in 2016 going up two weight classes upto middleweight. He would have left more of a legacy at light weight and welter weight if had stuck at those weights. That said khan is one the best boxers to come out British shores period, his hand speed and accuracy in his prime has been unmatched since.

His speed was amazing. His technique on point. His chin may have been his flaw but ultimately watching him develop, whichever trainer changed his fighting style over the last few years was one of main the reasons why he started to fail. Pushing forward and throwing jabs made him completely unbalanced whereby his previous technique like most boxers of throwing quick one two punches whilst maintaining his balance to then follow up was what worked for him the best. Absolute shame. And yeah the jokes about his chin don't get old but he was a great Ambassador for boxing but the trolls will never see that. They only come on here to comment about his chin and get likes.

I agree. Amir only moves linearly toward the opponent. He needs to strike and move at angles to avoid counters. Stay more in balance and move more than just back and forth.
