Taylor Swift is a creative powerhouse. Singer, songwriter, producer, actor, director - this multi-hyphenate artist is the only woman in history to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year three times, tying for the most wins by any artist (alongside Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon), as well as earning prizes in eight other categories. In addition to music, Swift has long been a visual storyteller. From influencing the edits of her music videos, to writing the treatments herself and then making the jump to director, she has defined a distinct style that extends out of her songwriting. In 2021, she released re-recordings of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version), her acclaimed second and fourth albums, as an act of reclamation and creative empowerment. The latter release was followed by All Too Well: The Short Film, which she directed, wrote, produced, and appeared in. Swift joins TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey for the first-ever screening of All Too Well: The Short Film on 35mm, and to discuss filmmaking and the visual aspects of her music.

He was well prepared, intelligent and respectful. He knew Taylor wouldn't want to go into details about the scarf metaphor nor her ex boyfriend, so he moved away from those topics to keep her comfortable.

This interview is such a great example of why I and so many young people, especially women, idolise Taylor Swift. She is articulate and unafraid to demonstrate her intelligence while also being so kindhearted and genuine. She proves that warmth of personality and being smart and driven are not mutually exclusive and portrays the most amazing feminist values by always supporting and uplifting other female creators!

Absolutely agree. She was actually given the opportunity to talk about the behind-the-scenes, technical aspects of her work. And she’s so passionate about what she does, she has lots of interesting stuff to say about it

God, she is just so articulate and well- spoken. Her posture, voice and the way she speaks, it's like she is elegance personified, and oh so beautiful. She, herself is a true masterpiece like the music and everything she creates. Her songs really paints quite a picture and captures us into the world of it!! Love how passionate she is, for the work she does and it really shows. What must it be like, to be so gorgeous and confident.

It was great interview by Taylor. What also caught my attention was her peaceful tone toward Jake. Calling the character as Adult, Cultivated, Charismatic and problematic who makes charming points and even indirectly telling fans to stop harassing him on scarf thing.
I love these interviews where artists really talk about their art, what they created. I mean late night shows are fun, but these kind of interviews man. You can really feel the difference.

It's very rare nowadays for a Pop Star and an A-list musician to be a well-spoken, eloquently speaking individual, her throwing little jokes here and there, and you can tell that she's quite enthusiastic and kinda nervous, even her awkwardness added nothing but charms.
Being awkward is awesome...it's authentic. I hate people who try to be perfect. The real beauty is in the imperfection and in being human and showing your humanity and humility.

She is so intelligent, talented, funny, dynamic, I could go on, but overall she is so endearing because she is genuinely humble and I think that is a big reason for her legions of fans. People can be very talented and have a huge ego, sometimes understandably, but come off like a jerk. It is a wonder that she can be so incredibly multifaceted and come across as being genuine and humble. She’s got it all.
The fact the record label didn’t think that the 10 minute version of All Too Well should be on the album blows me away.
why? it's a very rational to think it's not a good idea, 10 minutes is a long time for a single song, thanks to Taylor's amazing song writring when you listen to it you don't realize 10 minutes passed but it's still crazy

she should do a film like Melanie Martinez did for the album K-12. It was an hour and a half film with showed a music video for each track on the album and there were scenes to bring them all together. Not only was it a film but we also got a music video for each song.
Rumour has it that her upcoming album, midnights, coming out october 21st, would be a whole film/visual. Would be a dream if that rumour is true.
