    • I think it's because the airline used to be called Dominican Wings ans was a small charter airline, they changed names various times until they became a full commercial airline and renamed as Arajet. On radars I think they still show as Dominican Wings.

  • A huge contrast between the awesome sophistication of the flight deck and the antiquated exterior of this tired vintage airframe--look at the flat, angled flight deck windows eg: at 15:24 are all those vortex generators necessary to counteract a fundamentally flawed design? The B747, of similar era, always had superb, custom curved windows, exactly like todays A350 or B787! Boeing should have bitten the bullet hard and implemented a clean sheet design---we can thank Airbus for that deficiency though...
