The 10 year anniversary would have been good for the release of the mk4...
Or ship the XL
The mk3 is perfect
@@poncho4307 you clearly have never owned one along with other printers
@@tacticalswitch6153 I actually owned 5 and they are great. Much better than creality
@@tacticalswitch6153 after using many 10k dollar plus 3D printer the prusa mk3s is actually amazing.
When we will see an MK4?
Next week!
When you announce a special signature addition it's almost like the final hurrah and farewell.
I need it 😳
Got you covered if you missed it Angus
I mean you have the money for it right?
I need to see it on your channel 😳
You but only you will get a signature for free! You don’t have to pay 250€ for it!
I just ordered mine. Better hurry before they're all gone. :)
Hopefully they will sell some of the 10th anniversary sheets separately for those of us who already have a couple of mk3s+ so don’t need another one. I would not hesitate to buy it at anniversary steel sheet for both of mine. Fingers crossed!
yeah! i couldnt snag a new printer if i wanted to, but i would LOVE to get some 10th anniversary stuff to commemorate. print bed sheets are PERFECT for that
Yes, I think people who are fans enough of Prusa printers to buy one of these likely already have a printer. I bet a lot of people would want one of these for their printer.
Oh I would love to get that, but rather save my money for the Prusa XL with all the bells and Whistles!
What we need is the XL and MK4 =(
Imagine, Original Prusa i3 MKS3+ Anniversary Edition is going to be my 1st 3D printer. I'm learning to make a camera or an accessories to enter the contest in hopes of winning, that would be Great!
I don’t get why “Josef Prusa” is so hyped up continuously. I barely know the guy. He started this company and is credit with it by company name. He gathered the people to make it successful with his vision. Do we really need “by Josef Prusa” on every product and his signature on a printer like he did it alone? I feel like the whole Prusa crew doesn’t get enough appreciation.
yes but him and his brother were the ones who all started the concept of 3d printing and how he made the ease of 3d printing parts a reality. Sure i understand nowadays he has a whole team of people, but they have only helped made improvements upon the design of the printers and the actual "foundations" of the printer if you like were designed by him, so i think you're wrong in the sense that If it wasn't for joseph and his brother we may have not even have got to the point right now where 3d printing was commercially available at home and only in large manufacturing industries. So i salute you joseph if you ever stumble across reading this!
This reminds me of when the Apple IIgs was released. The first thousand (?) units had Woz's signature on the front.
And when the Apple 2 gs was released the apple architecture was already behind the others… same here imho with the mk3
Can i get this (or the regular printer too!) purchased as a combo with the Enclosure to make shipping more efficient?
Gratuluję rozwoju i osiągnięć całego zespołu. Aby następna 10-tka była jeszcze lepsza.
i love my luck i was saveing 2.5 years for mk3 i bought it last week now this came out😂 bruh
Read the description u can maybe request the upgrade
This edition is quite a bit more expensive than the standard one.
Just bought one!
Show!!!! Quem venha mais uma década! Eu ainda compro uma!!! Mas aqui no Brasil pra importar é inviável... abra revenda aqui rs
Add some special feature next anniversary please 🥺
The artist signs his masterpiece.
Luckily he's not an artist. Engineers make better products in the 3D printer hardware department. Artist are better in the 3D model department.
Wow🔥 Wish I had the money!
cool, but it will be cooler the have an update on XL shipping line.... are we Q3 soon yet? last news update was in march
Wow it looks amazing. But, I’m still waiting for Prusa connection for the mini+ I’ve been waiting far to long. Support keeps telling me it won’t be much longer.
Octoprint will be still better than Prusa Connect
The gold looks incredible.... very tempted to purchase......
Id love to just get the bed, I don’t have nearly enough space to fit another printer!
I got a signed one and all I did was ask, it didnt cost an extra $100 lol
So cool! But the PDP won't let me get past the currency popup to see the actual pricing. It requires me to select a different currency but then doesn't provide any options in the currency drop down. Can someone tell me how much it costs?
It shows 1040 EUR for me
I want a Prusa mini in that style.....with shorter lead time please😉
Looks good, but probably too good to be used as hard as I use mine, plus would feel bad cooking it for years on end in the enclosure
I love it already
Does it do anything different or better? Is it only cosmetically different from a i3 MK3S+?
The frame is 24-carat pure gold
@@diy_projectx5464 Hopefully that will help with vibration so I wont have to have my printer on a cinder block any more.
@@diy_projectx5464 no it isn't
I was expecting MK4 for the 10 year anniversary 😭
Not my first printer, but my first Prusa. See ya in 3-4 weeks!
Went to get a second printer and saw this. The kits were out but eh, I got it pre-assembled.
Sold!
WOW!
Some day I wil buy that printer if I have the money
This printer looks sick! 🔥🔥🔥🥳
It looks like one of those 3D Printers that people with too much money would buy, just to use as a conversation piece on a coffee table lol.
Would be really cool if there was an upgrade that would make this stand out like. gold heatsync from e3d along with titanium heat break and nozzle x nozzle standard
Dang I was 2 weeks late, I ordered a normal one about a week ago
Damned. I wanted to wait for a i3 with network connection. Now I ordered one anyway. Joe tricked me!
why is the kit version more expensive:::::::::::
I have 3. But not a gold one. Hmm. Decisions, decisions. Naw. I'll continue to wait for the XL.
Just bought it. This will be #7 and I have the XL on order. Can't wait. :)
This is no. 4 for me (not counting my 5-tool XL preorder)!
@@MartinKoistinen Got one of those on preorder too. Can't wait! :)
It looks like a cheap ANET with those colors. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I dunno - I'm not feeling the vibe I think you were going for.
If the Mk3S+ were a Pokemon this would be the shiny form
Die besten 3D Drucker
Whaaat! I thought i was first to comment, but Mark beat us to it haha
Koupeno;)
Reminds me of Nintendo and their special edition switch. minus the signature :D
I had 2 Prusa but I sold 1 and going to sell the remaining. I am tired of inaccurate printed parts in the printer assembly. Especially for MMU2 which works badly and it is extremely hard to make it work properly due to tolerances. I give up. I would better buy something solid made from metal. No more plastic in 3d printer moving parts.
A lot of this is done to save weight so one can run faster print speeds. Metal parts are too heavy and the prints would look awful at the speed these run at.
1000 euro for the kit :o
Should have released the Prusa XL on your 10th Anniversary. Could have designed special edition Printer just for your 10th could have been creative. Guess 10 years isnt special just another day.
Tell you start with unit #000
too bad they couldn't injection mold the plastic parts...or get them made of metal....something extra special like that would be nice, instead of a signature and gold paint
Honestly, if there's a market for it - there's money to be made. People sell that..."Full Bear" garbage for the Prusa. I'm sure lots of people would be willing to swap to aluminum parts.
I just bought one! I’ve been sitting on the fence about getting a Prusa for sometime. Although I have other printers, I’ve heard so many owners of Prusa say how well they work. As an Ender owner - I can appreciate how poor quality machines can affect work and waste time. Time costs money too! I’m really looking forward to getting it!! Thank you Prusa for all you do to make 3D printing better!
While I won't kiss ass and simp over prusa, I do gotta say, coming from both an ender and random microcenter printer 123, the mini was a massive godsend. You're right, time is wasted on so much bed leveling and fixing prints etc.. I was losing motivation to keep 3d printing. But the mini is just, press "print" and I walk away. Hell I never even watch the first layer. It always works unless I stupidly sliced an object in mid-air myself ofc. Because of the ease of use and time saving, I spent more time 3d modeling and releasing models to print then ever before. So the joy came back to me and yea, I absolutely love my prusa machines.
Please do not loose the connection to real word and your competitors. I think something really new need to come very soon to stay competitive on the 3d printer market.
what are you missing?
prusa xl: am i joke to you?
They already are. Maybe you should pay more attention.
Bambu is gonna shake things up. The prusa mk3 line is screwed, especially with the new price increase.
@@morbus5726 Smoke more crack. Do they have 24/7 online and phone support? Do they have a team of dedicated developers constantly updating their own custom slicer, firmware AND hardware? Do they have no hassle warranty support? When you buy a Prusa you're buying a lot more than just the printer.
No improvements just a signature..?
Shut the front door! Oh Snap!!
I started weeks ago with an ender 3 s1. And the amount of monitoring at the beginning of print made me starting looking into Prusa. Welp, this is the last straw for me. But MK4 for 10yrs should definitely be better.
Just get a bambu if you don’t want any calibration. Better than the prusa in literally every aspect
@@morbus5726 honestly the only reason I didn’t rush to pledge one is because of uncertainty on reliability and parts supply. I’m aiming to print primarily PA-CF as my racing simulator accessories. Parts and knowledge base are readily available for Prusa but uncertain for Bambu lab.
@@morbus5726 what is the minimal Z-layer height Bambu has? Tell me. Does Bambu support 0.1mm nozzles for ultra-fine prints? What about using ruby- or diamont-tip nozzles for very special metal-filled filaments? Every aspect? Oh boy... don't make me laugh :)
@@Terrar1988 minimal layer height doesn't matter, the ender 3 can go to 0.05mm, so can the bambu, so can every other lead screw powered z. It will support fine nozzles in the future, and it comes with a 50hrc hardened nozzle stock. Stop trying to be condescending when you're obviously just not knowledgable. Do some research before arguing in the youtube comment section.
@@morbus5726 proves please. Before you start to argue - try to find a real data sheet. I can only see you are noob in 3D-printing world. Otherwise - these are your dreams and fantasies. So no info if it can do at least 0.05mm in Z, no info about support of 0.1mm nozzles, no info about ruby or diamond nozzles? What is unique there? Filament change? Prusa XL or MK3S+ with MMU2S upgrade kit do the same job. Enclosure? Not even with heating, alike new for MK3S+ (with activated charcoal filter too, and fire-extinguisher by the way). Lidar? Looks like just a fancy nonsense, I don't see what significant help will it have. AI for detection of "spaghettification"? Ahahah - no comments. Maybe only internal camera - is only PROS. I told you - hardened steel nozzle is not enough for me, it will be quickly destroyed by special metal-filled filaments. All the parts are proprietary, so if smth breaks - needs to be ordered from China. So what we have at the end? Right - a new fancy crap. No thanks, I'll stay with other brands :) And you can continue to justify yourself how "cool" it is. By the way - I wrote them an email at all the possible addresses, with the same questions I asked you. And you know what? They didn't even reply, I think you're getting why.
Ok dad
After 10 years one would of thought it would of evolved! But it is still the same printer with just a few addons As most modern printers have Nice colour touch screens which can display the Mesh levelling details in a nice graphical form. also change settings/tweak on the fly. I still cant believe they still 3d print parts for it that look so outdated and tacky at such a high price It also has such a small printable area, Anet A8 and there other models look and perform just as good at the fraction of the price. also Creality Ender 3v2 is built so much better with plenty of features at a fraction of what the Prusa cost's I can say is that Prusa printers are good but at an Expense. Anyway my point is, if your going to Celebrate an anniversary of a product , then make it awesome,. It is like Mc Donald's trying to Relaunch a Big Mac.
I think you'll find there are a significant number of reasons that Chinese printers are cheaper. Yes, if you get lucky you may very well end up with something close to the same quality and a prusa machine at a fraction of the price but a significant number of people end up with something falling way short. The quality control in cheap Chinese printers is essentially non existant and support is hard to come by so the end user ends up needing to make modifications and repairs themselves just to have something that works. What you lay for with prusa isn't just the printer, you're paying for quality, consistency, active support, ect. I myself have owned 2 creality printers and the 1 prusa and both creality printers have had problems and have been very hands on, my prusa printer is a workhorse and is basically faultless after hundreds if not thousands of hours of printing
I only hear that it LOOKS old and outdated, other printer LOOK better. I didn't hear you say that it doesn't print well or that the quality is below others. The strong points of Prusa printers is that they seem to maintain the level of quality over time without constant tinkering. Also, there's a support service, get that at Creality. It may be more expensive, but from what I hear from the people who work with them, they're worth it. I don't own Prusa stock, nor do I have one of their printers. I had a Creality Ender 3 and now an Ender 5 Plus. I do have a XL on order. The price is indeed an issue, but I rather pay a bit more for a worry-free printer than constantly have to fiddle with the thing to keep it doing what it's supposed to do. And the looks don't bother me that much. As long as it does what it should do, I don't have a problem.
The real problem is: people don't know what makes a good 3D printer. I've started with an AnetA8. It's heavily modified. It prints just as good as a mk3s+ (sometimes better (surface finish, Hemera rocks), sometimes worse depends on model/settings) at this point but this is just not the whole truth about a 3D printer. The AnetA8 is not being used anymore. I'm actually testing Klipper with it sometimes use it for TPU. Or if I need many parts quick. The heavily modified CR10 is barely used anymore, my JG Aurora isn't used. Then I have some modified A6. Sitting around. But only the Mk3S+ and Mini+ run. Because they are the best. They are reliable. They are quality. The printed parts are not tacky and the printed parts are not a reason to cut costs - actually they cost more. It's about RepRap. And Prusa is doing it. I've bought one of the 1000. I want 2 but I can't order 2.
@@REDxFROG Good point about people not knowing about what is involved in a good printer, I can say I ran an Anet A8 for over 3 years nearly every day, and the only extra's in those 3 years I bought was new due to wearing out was the Linear bearings and and a new hot end and changed the firmware to Marlin , so it was stock standard. I did print a transparent one fifth scale spitfire Flawlessly Not to run down a Prusa Mk3 s+ but it still uses old Trinamic 2130 stepper motor drivers on an 8Bit board as an Enders 3v2 has a 32 bit motherboard with Trinamic 2208 drivers which you can buy for around £50 that can be a good upgrade for an Anet A8, Anyway there can be a debate on such printers for ever more, and all I can say is , if you have a printer that you like and it performs well, regardless of the price, then each to there own. But personally I just don't feel the need to over spend.
@@PhilippensTube Hi mike as you mention I only talked about the looks, well i was keeping my bit of saying short well if you look deeper into the components then you can see that it is using older tech compared to many other brands at a far cheaper price. Like the 8Bit mother board with old type TMC 2130 stepper drivers instead of the newer TMC2209 that takes away the need for the use of end stops and the wiring, By all means they work & do a great job already. but now the Prusa MK3s+ is around the £1000 price mark for this version. It is a bit like buying a 2020 mobile phone in 2022 Wouldn't you like to have a printer with the newer technology, like a 32bit board and a colour touchscreen and so on upon purchasing a 2022 machine. Anyway' if you have one of these printers already and it performs well and your happy with it, then great. and glad you love it. :) My whole point is, and that is that they are still selling the same machine with a bit of bling so to speak.
Why did i used all my money before this
