My best run so far is 0 bosses and 41 hits. Took a long time but I'm proud of it.

@@WingMaster562 Someone did a pacifist run where he finished the game without attacking any enemy; basically he just summoned NPCs and healed them all the time. So who knows.

@@Yummomummo Try playing as an archer in DS1. You can't do precision shots with it, you can get arrows stuck in midair in in-door areas. What I find it weird, is that the series that kept them afloat for a long while involved shooting. Yet they couldn't do actual proper collisions for projectiles for Dark Souls. You have some weird inivisible walls that can make an arrow just get stuck midair.

What were they thinking when they made forlorn? "Yeah this guy invades from every spot in the game, oh and you can get invaded at any time now, have fun."
In the basegame you need to free him from a cell to be invaded.
He would he annoying if he wasn't easy as hell to deal with. Just hold a sword with both hands and thrust away. Even easier if you have a good spear or halberd.
They also created npc invaders to provide players with extra opportunities to gain humanities without needing an internet connection

This video was structured very well I must say. Putting a bloopers cut at the start to show just how difficult the game really is, then proceeding to explain how many bosses there actually was, even comparing it to the other games, and then, making a win montage, and putting music behind it to show the viewer that those were the easy bosses, and afterwards proceeding to cut off the music to show the serious stuff. Great video Otz, really good work.

Ohhhh I see, I thought it was a boss like the Phalanx dudes or something. For some reason my mind didn't put 2 and 2 together that 'covenants' are groups you can *join* in these games; and my dumb ass thought it was a group boss.

Sometimes i forget completely about this, but then suddenly it appears in my home page, and i gotta rewatch what i consider to be the two best videos on the entire fucking tube.
