  • I gotta say Wolfey, your bond with Exeggutor is pretty damn strong and the fact that you managed to make it work at the World Championships nonetheless is a testament to that. ❤️ I’m likely a complete amateur compared to you when it comes to competitive play, but I got inspired to making my own team for the Gen. 7 Battle Tree years ago after first hearing how you managed to make Exeggutor of all Pokémon an utter success. My team focused around utilizing the Pokemon Kommo-O, which I had grown quite attached to from playthroughs and some online play using it. Watching you coming up with the right teammates for your Exeggutor reminded me very much of the steps I took to make my Kommo-O team absolutely wreck in the Battle Tree. It can’t get a 100+ win streak or anything (at least I haven’t tried to yet), but it’s able to reach Battle 50 in Doubles format and I’m proud enough for it accomplishing that feat.

The feeling of discovering the treasures of ruin was something that I didn't felt for so long. Seeing new pokemons, discovering their evolutions and playing the game blind after years of seeing everything before playing was an amazing experience. Thanks Wolfey, for reawakening the love that I always had for this franchise (sorry for the English, not my first language)
