Having known that version first o began wondering if Lana did a cover as I thought she’d be perfect for it. Lana’s style fits Nancy and Lee’s vibe well. If someone was gonna do it, I approve of Lana. Nancy and Lee’s is my favorite, but I this one too.

  • it's so funny because when you first listen to this song (both this cover and the og song) you don't really focus on the lyrics, just the angelic melody and how well their voices go together. it's like you're being hypnotised, seduced by the melody. but when you actually listen to the lyrics you start realising what's it actually about, it's about a girl getting a man drunk so she can take his possessions and sell them. he's getting hypnotised, seduced by her, just like the listeners xD
