Wow did this Prevost need some love. The turbo boost was non existent and the suspension was in need of repairs. Bad wheel bearings, kingpins, and more…
People are very fortunate to have someone with such skill and care to maintain their buses. Y'all do wonderful work!
Scott, Tyler, Hunter, Thank you for the great work that was done on my bus, she is running like a champ now and I learned a ton. If anyone knows someone that installs Victron systems please comment. Lastly still trying to figure out a name for this 35’ Prevost….. Recommendations Please.
Max
hows the name SPINNER as in wheel spinner hahaha
Hello Marine. I want to thank you for your service to this country. As for a bus name, Willey, a small take on the uphill wheelie. See that Martha, the turbo, she's working now! LOL
@Stan Wofford - How about "Shorty", since it's a rare "shorty" Prevost?
@@RustySax1949 I actually kinda like that!
Dangit Scott you make an old mans heart sing with joy!!! The work you and the boys do must be soooo rewarding. That marine spinning the tyres up the hill was a hill.larius moment..its always great to see the bus owners joy when they test drive the bus with you after all the work is DONE. The music is just ...right on. Thank you for the effort you put in every vid.
Ah a new video. My addiction is satisfied 👍great video guys and the wheel spin up that hill was epic😆
You can tell he was happy he was loving it that bus did look good on the outside
I watch this channel regularly, I do not have a vintage bus but a modern, well,, 2008 42' Motor home. I really enjoyed the Owner in this episode and Semper Fi! While I am a Cummins guy, I really enjoy the Detroit Info and certainly the Chassis work info! BGM down the Road!
Nice. Every once in a while you get one that doesn't fight you every inch of the way and you don't have to wait a month for some part to arrive.
The drought is over 🎉🎊but fully understand the delay. Thank you Scott and family for sacrificing your time to create the VLOGs our enjoyment and education.
Aw...That Shiny Baby came in there in Crisis Mode, and Left there Proudly with some Shiny New Parts, to Match her Outside! An Award Winning Job, as Usual! 🤩
Saw this video today 6/28. The colour of the bus literally popped, especially in the middle where the different colors are , when the sunlight hits them. Really awesome.
Great to see another video and I love the old GM 5 window pickups. That was one of the nicest I’ve seen
Great job again. That is a sweet bus. Glad to hear from you.
Very enjoyable video. The bus needed work but left your place running like a champ.
Nice work Scott , glad to see your videos again another happy customer….
Nice to see you guys back at it. I would bet that the bus will get a bit better fuel economy also with the turbo working. Hope he thinks about changing it out when he saves up a bit of cash. Thanks much for sharing!
Another amazing job! Watching his hands and how quiet they are on the wheel… that’s a front end and suspension system that are tuned well. The sound of that engine is so nice and so much power for that 35’ city coach.
Good to see you again..hope all is well...God bless.
Nice bus, nice sound, now it performs! Greetings from the UK
Thks Scott, been missing you and all your new friends!
Welcome back, I hope your inspection went well. (written before the end of the video)
Know you all have been so busy. Miss seeing all the family.
glad to see this latest vid hope ur all ok there keep smilin and take care
That sound of that bus coming is amazing
What a perfect little bus. Im very jealous.
i like how you tried to get the broken bit out with a magnet
I agree. That's a beautiful bus. And that was funny to hear how it can make the tires spin now that the turbo is working again.
That 6v92TA sound is my childhood. Riding Gillig Phantom transit buses for many years before I got my driver's license, and a couple more years in college. Magical sound now that the turbo actually is working!
To MR Stan Wofford, Awesome Prevost. Thanks for your Service, How about Naming your Bus MARINE 1, or Ol Stumpy! smokin if you got em he did lol.
I laughed when he spun the tires and you guys had a good laugh about it. Looked like a nice bus, and a great repair job!
I have missed the test drive drive!!! Keep it up guys!!!
that's a beautiful Bus i really like the colors of the srtipes & all that sparkling stainless Steel
Scott, that hill is the Acid Test for your Clients, the before and after runs are a tribute to your skills and talent!
Man that is one beautiful provost I love the color combo and that it’s only 35’
I love the stop light, then floor it up the hill!!!
Scott: “Go ahead and get on it”! I’m always waiting for the driver to sink into his seat and see Scott grab the dash😆 It’s a bus😄
great fix as normal liked the wheel spin up the hill
I was worried since you were not uploading. Many thanks.
Awesomeness.... Another Great video!! I sure have missed watching these.
Nice to see you all back hope you are well and keeping safe thanks for sharing another great video everything looks great on the property nice looking bus Regards from Wales 🏴
I love the sound of them! I would love to have one but they seem super expensive to maintain. EEKK!!
Always nice to see and hear a satisfied customer! Thanks and way to go. We love to see the clear damage and the straight forward repair. Not that we like damage, just sometimes we can't always see or understand the damage, how severe it is and how it got that way if it isn't simply age and wear. How much wear, movement can there be in a turbo wheel or shaft? Do you ever use a ? hmm? Like a feeler gauge other than your fingers to qualify a turbo being junk? Can you rebuild the shaft and bearings or is it better, not easier to install a new turbo? 🤔. And how many times will a turbo larger than the one coming off go on? 😁 Again, Thanks for sharing 👍 See you soon. 👌🏻✌🏻🙋♂️🌤🇨🇦👨🦽😎.
Damn been waiting a long time to see your videos! Thanks! David in Indiana
I was singing 'By the liii-ght, of the siiil-veryyy goooo' as you were draining the wheel bearing lubricant. 😃
welcome back
Great video, you need to get a good set of drain plug sockets, they are like an adapter, but without the ball/spring detent which really weakens the socket.
Ordered them today from the snap on guy
Or the Impact adapters
The property is looking fine
Beautiful bus, great work!
I bet the city like you when you drive around the block with all the buses thanks for the information and the video KY
I don’t think anyone has ever noticed. We keep pretty low key.
So glad to see a new video
Good too see your back
Love your new tune
Great work gentlemen..
That looks like the Prevost coach that Johnny Depp's grandparents owned when I lived near them in Hallandale, Florida.same paint work. I love those big motorcoaches. Especially the mid-sixties- early-seventies GMC Scenicruiser.
1001 Scencruisers were built by GMC exclusively for Greyhound from 1954-1956. They remained in the fleet until 1975, after which they were sold off. There are approximately 250 left, with both 001 and 1001 surviving. 001 is still owned by Greyhound as part of it's historic fleet based in Los Angeles, while 1001 is in a private collection in IN.
That's a nice coach. 👍
The Total 5 litre jugs have that kind of spout. I still have an instinct to hold my breath whenever running an impact near the brakes...even when you do it.
Where did yall go for a month? Glad you are back. Like to see progress on dwelling build.
Todays kids only have enough muscle to hold a cordless drill, and damn that cord was heavy!
Love that coach!
That's what success looks like !!!
Forgive me if I am drawing attention to something you would rather not highlight. But, I think we have just seen you deliver your usual superb service to a man of color... someone who does not always get the respect and attention a customer deserves. No surprise... Your expertise, your service, your respect for the customer were all first rate as always. Thank you for showing how EVERY customer deserves to be treated. That '35 foot Prevost is one of the nicest units we have seen you service to date. Keep up the great work you do and the high standards you set!!!
good service GM🥳
Another one safely back on the road :-)
That is a beautiful bus
Missed you!!!
SWeet ! I thought as much ! Had a cousin living in Sherbrooke, QUE some years ago(Townships)
I don't know what year that coach is but it looks very nice especially outside. Surprised how quiet the drivetrain and suspension is. I just spent 3-wks for vacation 20-miles to your southeast and it looks like I too will be leaving Indiana this fall (fingers crossed) and moving down there. I'll be back down there around Sept/Oct for another 2 or 3 weeks to look for a place to live. Now what to do with my trucking equipment. Thinking about a company driver position over in Spring Hill. Since y'all left, there are almost a dozen new logistics warehouses on Ronald Reagan Pkwy between I-74 and I-70 and more on the way minus the one that burned down at All Points and won't be rebuilt. Y'all made the right choice and appear to be doing very well and I hope to follow in your footsteps real soon.
Didn't know Prevost ever made a bus that small
"You spun the tires"... cool!
That Chevy pickup would look perfect in steel wheels!
Great video!
Nice bus!
What a lovely machine - one of the nicest yet, looks and sounds just ace especially after you've given it the treatment !
I was about to start tapping my main vein for another dose of Bus Grease Monkey. So thank you I needed this hit episode.
What a nice Prevost by Liberty Coach! Does he have a tour of the bus anywhere on KZhead?
its crazy to think about the amount of buses that have tested that hill climb
Nice shortie Prevost, bet it moves nicely with a 6v92ta, better now with boost!
These! Are Great Bus' S
Thanks for the youtube posting....
God job 💪 bus owner in norway
Pretty sure I brokered the sale of that example a few years back. Very rare piece.
IIRC, LIberty was the only converter that produced the three MTH 35' Prevosts built in '78-'79, not sure who did conversions on the eight '72-'74s that were built.
First Bus to do a Burnout going up the hill
Pretty bus needing a lot of TLC. Another bys safely back on the road.
keep the clips coming
These are really nice busses but I can’t imagine what the cost of operation and maintenance is. I’ve been watching your channel for a while and it appears the previous owners of most that come through you facility deferred their maintenance a lot. You sure know your busses. My compliments.👍🏻 A question, which busses tend to be more maintenance hogs,Prevost,or Wanderlodge?
That is one beautiful truck just write not too much
Beautiful truck it looks good in front of the shop you should keep it ask him to trade for the VW Thing straight across. Lol
Hi Scott from west Alabama
Pretty bus
He should make a pilgrimage up to Prevost Quebec and bring that old girl back to the plant for a visit! 🇨🇦
Not a bad idea…
Great to see the shop looking fantastic on the outside. Where’s Leon?
If I'm not mistaken, it's Leroy the dog.
That's an incredible suspension.... a huge mobile cradle holds the axle, and each side is suspended by dual air bags, trailing arms, a lateral link not seen, and dual shock absorbers. The engineer who designed it must have been on LSD!
Well howdy there BGM!
In Utah they just say no engine brakes ,to me it,s a great invitation to use it
Another great video, I think you need to invest in a remote mic though, I could hardly tell what you were saying in this one.
Oh I'm in Atlanta
OMG. One day I will get me one and convert it to an RV.
The noise at about 5:30 sounds like the cat has got trapped.....
Hurt the ears. That was the sound of money being well spent.
never use non impact adapters on impact tools i found that out the hard way!!!
When you were turning that hub, I got a toothache
