Using Saltwater Techniques to Catch GIANT Bass

2020 ж. 13 Сәу.

In this episode of BlacktipH, we return to Lake Weohyakapka with the FWC (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission) to go fishing for giant largemouth bass using saltwater techniques. Our goal was to use saltwater kite fishing techniques with massive shiners as baits to try and catch the biggest bass we could find. To my knowledge, this is the first-ever fishing video targeting bass using saltwater kite fishing gear.

    • Garrett Smith i think depending on the state, it’s required by law in rivers/lakes if you have a kayak, boat etc

    • It might be hard to go without them, but if you care about Josh making these for the long term it's better for him to do what the rest of us who can are doing and stay away from others for the time being. Standing next to and high fiving someone for a day of fishing is not a good idea. I miss fishing tremendously too, but there has to be a safer outlet than Josh being this unsafe.

      @DiabetoDan@DiabetoDan4 жыл бұрын

I've got a book about Florida bass fishing guides tips & tricks that has an entire chapter about it...........published way back in the 90's........maybe even the 80's.

  • I once caught a 7.5 pound bass out of a farm pond smaller than an acre. As the sun rose it illuminated this bass's "nest" in the deep water and you could see it rise up to bite that plastic bait. But to have this quality of fish in one location is pretty nuts and extremely unusual. When i was fishing tournaments with my dad and grandad, we would practice in the days before. Come game day, we would now where the fish are and how they're acting, what they're biting on, etc.. My uncle fished in FLW for a while.

Coming from the North West US, everything thats done in the outdoors is done with a ton of care and concern for the well-being of the animal, and i feel he exhibits those good qualities, as well as many other ones found in a true Outdoorsmen.
