Great video and very efficient commentary, good job!
Thanks for this video. I have a question, is it possible de split the screen directly by connecting to cables from my GPU to this computer to have a "fake" dual screen ?
How is the text clarity on this? Will this a good monitor for productivity (documents, coding, etc)? I have check one of the LG 49in monitor on display and text wasn't clear.. I think it was LG LC49HG9..XXY
Perfect video 💪
Good comprehensive review -- nice work. I agree with your closing sentiment, that we often don't need a feature-rich product -- better to keep it lean and focus on just making a great display. Prime example of this is including speakers -- AOC should get rid of them (which not only should lower the cost but with potential to reduce chassis depth), or make them optional at a premium if that's what consumers crave. However I'd be surprised if most gamers and work-users alike aren't either using headphones or a decent surround setup already. Particularly for the demographic that's likely to buy them.
INTRO 🔥🔥🔥🔥
thanks for the video. i have this beast however do not understand how to connect keyboard and mouse to the screen and use/share it amongst multiple PC's ? main PC is connected via DP. have a laptop connected via USB-C. when i plugin keyboard in the monitor, nothing happens
CRG9 QC is nonexistent. After 3 RMA displays I bought this AOC and I love this thing
I like this over Neo 49. Neo has too many problems and warranty sucks. But I am waiting for Samsung ARK 55 to come out.
Nice review. I got this monitor after watching ur review. I have the PBP issue as well. Primary source (display port), although I set it to 2560x1440 before activating the PBP, I only get a small screen in the middle with the correct proportion. No issue with the secondary USB-C source.
Were you able to solve this?
@@svenningen I didn't solve it
@@quekvincent5981 i had the same issue. I was able to get one input properly showing 2560x1440 but not the other. After a lot of work I swapped which one was set to primary and I was able to make it work. Somehow.
I solved it - when you select PBP, make sure that your advanced display settings are 120 HZ and you will get a nice full screen! (2560 x 1440 at 120 HZ)
I'm only 10 seconds into your video and just want to say THANK YOU! 99.99% of these reviews never show the actual work space split on these monitors. Sure they can game but we're not all living in mom's basement gaming 24/7. I'm sticking around to watch the full review and subscribing. You had me at 10 seconds 👍
sad if your idea of gaming is with your mum's basement. WE game 24/7 on super ultra wides on homes we buy ourselves.
I am guessing this is the next in line to the AG493UCX?
Hi, do you know if the usb-c input supports full resolution (5120x1440) at full 165hz? I have a 14 inch MacBook Pro with m1 pro and search for a 49 inch screen with usb c input to just use one cable for everything. Thank you very much!
Hey, USB C only supports up to 120 Hz
@@yng2yangaj Hi, do you get 165 hz with DP cable comes with monitor? I have tested monitor with 1080ti and Quadro P2200. Stuck at 120 hz/
I have this monitor but when I play a first shooter game it's to wide and I often have to use the window mode or view of the game. with this monitor in that setting i can only get limited graphics. is there a app or a way to correct this?
If you were about to Play LOL, do you then have to use it as wide screen og Can u have league in the middle and Spotify on the right and Maybe Facebook on the Left while gaming?
I have this monitor. Stuck on 120 hz. Unable to select 165 hz. I use 2.0 high bandwith cable. Any help?
Use Dp cable hdmi is limited
can I connect my MacBook with this just using the usb c port ? and then be able to connect my xbox using the hdmi port at same time
You will burn out your laptop
is this good for ps5?
Anyone use this with MacBook / Logic Pro?
How about black smearing ? VA panels are infamous for black smearing and as u're using "dark mode" did u experience flashing white text on dark background ? Or notice that anomaly in games ?
based on what i had seen on my friends 120hz version of this monitor its pretty seems to be a pretty good monitor especially for the price
I just bought this monitor and looking at your comment on dark mode. No smudging here. Looks great to me.
Not many games supports ultrawide let alone supers...
Is this monitor colour accurate
I wouldn't use VA panel monitors for colour critical work.
good stuff but why test latency at 60hz and the say its probably better at higher hz. Why not jsut test it at the refresh rate your actually going to use. Nobody will use 60hz.
Our measurement device supports 60Hz only. We are looking into solutions that support higher rates.
If those would only be 32:10 with 5120x1600...
👍
pity this model is not available in most countries
Even with powerful hardware such as intel I7 and RX 6900XT. Some benchmark games for that type of monitor and res at ultra setting gets low fps. Not worth lowering down the setting it will look bad. Might as well go back to 1080p
i think im having this very same issue, I have to use "windowed" mode and can't get max graphics. is there a way around this?
@@malikwilliams7518 Better get a RTX 4090. Propably RTX 4080 is good too.
@@malikwilliams7518 Or wait for the next Gen 49inch monitors.
