As a Marvel reader from the 70's, I gotta admit that this one is spot on. Taylor Swift is the Disco Dazzler in real life so I know this generation of kids (including mine) will love this!

Not even a fan but she is absolutely the best candidate. If she made a mutant album I would buy it. I think they originally wanted to a Dazzler movie back in the day but it fell through. A Dazzler film would be a really interesting POV introduction for mutants in the MCU. Celebrity who falls from grace because she comes out as a mutant to the public.
She actually is really good in acting too. She was a theatre kid growing up, and the couple of roles she’s popped in for in the past have all been good.

Yeah, I agree with the majority that casting Taylor Swift as Dazzler is a money-making move for Disney and the MCU.
A good story written by good writers directed by a good director and edited by editors and VFX artists who actually have time to do their jobs is and was a money making move for marvel. They've stopped doing this recently but having taylor on isn't gonna mean jackshite if this is all they have going for them.
I think we all knew taylor Swift would be in this due to her friendship with Ryan reynolds. I'm not sure how I'll take her as a superhero, I don't know if I'll be able to take her seriously, but hey, I hope she will be great in acting. Favorite Hero: Batman

This movie will break recent Box Office records with Taylor Swift in it.
a toy that was contracted to be made like 3 years ago would in no way shape or form be any indication that the character would still be in the film after reshoots that havent even started yet. thats insane. even more so considering that its just a toy leak and not even some official announcement. the toy company has nothing to do with what gets cut from the film. they produce the toys that marvel asks for. zero reason to think that the character would (or wouldnt be) in the movie based on this toy leak.
The things ppl see shit and start to draw magical lines to add up their story. Same thing happens with some Shang Chi toys that dropped but never appeared in the film as well smh

I expected Taylor would be Dazzler, no question. What I didn't expect was Natalia Tena as X-23 at all. It just seems wrong. Daphne Keen should be the only X-23. I guess Daphne would play the 'Gabriel' version, which doesn't match her style. She can play a feral X-23 just fine. 'Gabriel' is a young teddybear-loving wildcard.
