Honestly it's Not Necessary To Wearing A Mask Its Better Without Mask
imma gonna say it, after 20+ years, Wolverine looks weird with a mask lol. I know this is a fan edit, but if the final look is anything close to that, its gonna look weird. Im sure he will have it for a short period of time during the movie before it gets removed/ripped out.
They are saving it for the apex of the movie. Like Cap saying Avengers assemble or getting Mjolnir. When he steps out for the final battle wearing the mask the audience will lose it

I think they did a solid job with the current look, based on what we've seen so far. I think they'll polish a little during post production between now and the theatrical release though. So it will get a little better.

The only time we got that was from the deleted scene from “The Wolverine” they have to bring it back
those white eyes on the Wolverine mask are disturbing. They don't bother me with the Deadpool mask (or in the comics with Wolverine) but in live action its pretty disturbing. I have to say, I am one of those fans that is looking forward to seeing Wolvie in one of his suits and to see how Marvel portrays the X-Men.

Bryan Singer is clearly not a comic book fan. His Superman film really irritated me for a start. It's like he has no idea about what people really want to see. He had the rights to the John Williams Superman theme, but then hardly used it, and when he did use it he used it in the wrong parts of the film. As if he was just clueless to the fact that certain parts of the theme are supposed to relate to certain parts of the character's actions.
Me too. I totally agree, he basically cut copy of the 1st 4 Superman Movies & Supergirl movies. it was Superman 3.1 and Supergirl 1.1 Where is Superman in Supergirl? Supergirl oh he's out in Space. I'll be honest, I also hated the yellow suit as it never made sense to me given Logan's personality. I always preferred the brown one or more recently, the black version. Yellow was only really used in the early days when there were color concerns over print technology. They couldn't reproduce good gradations back then, so they needed to use loud solid colors.

I understood they were hiding things because the way that portal works that they jump in (if it is Dr. Stranges which I assume it is) you are able to see the other side but in the trailer it's blank in the middle. They are hiding the location they are jumping to to make it more of a surprise - wherever they are going.
I actually would love to see Hugh wearing the suit given by the Yashida clan. Which he wored on his own series. 😊

Unfortunately early into production- images were leaked with wolverine on the set- with Deadpool - fighting- in full yellow custom- it messed a lot of things up for the reveal. Great video btw !
They announced Hugh was coming back before those set photos leaked. It was actually the first thing they announced about the film.

Deadpool has one major advantage over Wolverine - his healing factor. DP's may be derived from Wolverine's, but it's dialed up to 100. Even without his adamantium slowing it down, Wolverine still can't heal anywhere NEAR as quickly or completely as Deadpool.

Deadpool regrew his entire bottom half in less than 2 days, whereas the most we've seen Wolverine replace is some skin & muscle. In the comics, Deadpool's version is much faster than Wolverine's. And this is coming from a Wolverine fan, not a Deadpool one.
I'm all in for the Wolvie cowl having a meaningful inclusion in the film, at this point it is almost its own separate character. I just hope they can get the ear sails to work in live action. I know they can't please us all and there will be a plethora of words used to describe the cowl. We all just want and need a berserker fueled, fully costumed Wolvie doin what he does best. LoudLove

when I first watched the trailer and I saw wolverine's claws coming out it made me realize that suit isn't gonna be new bc where the claws come from has to be made with adamantium as well since it would break if it was something else and those holes the claws come from looks a bit broken like they've been through a lot of fights
@Emergency Awesome, Looks like they also used some set peices from The Gifted tv series as well in the movie. Like the bar where wolverine The Gifted were supposed to go see where Wolverine was supposed to meet them.
At 9:06 Logan looks at the brown and tan suit he wore throughout most of the 1980s. The blue and yellow suit predates this one, and he returned to the blue and yellow after this one when Jim Lee relaunched X-Men in the 1990s.

In other words, Singer and Mangold were of a time where ambition and dreams died with Cameron and Speilberg of the 80's and 90's, substituted for technology and grounded stories in the 2000's. I could be wrong but maybe Singer was never a die hard comic fan from the jump, or maybe he was. A lack of vision or confidence in seeing actors wear super suits was probably the issue. He truly hanged himself for not growing out of this limitation. There were many directors willing to take that challenge and do the type of films he would not. Such confidence brought them fame in such films as: Ironman, Watchmen, The Amazing Spiderman, Kick-Ass, Batman Begins, and V for Vendetta.
That looks pretty seamless. Very impressed. I think we'll only see the mask though, during the flashbacks, when we'll also see the main X Men cameos.

9:23 Wolverine has a brown and yellow suit in some of the comics. Like the Uncanny X-Men, he also wore it through most of the 80's and into the early 90's. Plus he's wearing the brown and yellow suit in the current 2024 comics.

Oh gosh! I hated those black X-MEN costumes! I’m old school! I always wanted to see the X-MEN in their classic outfits from the 90’s series. Also. If this is true about WOLVERINE’s costume, I love how they kept his eyes white. Like I’m the comics. I’m a HUGE X-MEN and WOLVERINE fan! I dunno about you guys but I appreciate marvel for doing things like this. It's way to easy to tell a film by trailers these days. Almost making it pointless to watch the film. But with all the added effects for trailers and how they chop them up. You never really can tell.
