    • @@gustavoroses268 While I get your point, this option does exist for Samsung and Apple doesn't have it. It also has zero impact on the phone. It doesn't dimm the screen, 120hz still works, everything is 1:1 the same as before. Nobody will notice if it's on or not. I'd even argue that if somebody doesn't use that setting, they just want to drain their battery faster on purpose, because nobody needs this CPU power for daily social media usage or watching videos. Samsung should have that on by default tbh. Letting the Samsung win would be turning the resolution down to FHD+, maybe making the screen a little bit less bright to a point where nobody would notice it, etc.

      @freesS3@freesS33 ай бұрын
    • @freesS3 that option does not exist on iOS because the iPhone simply does not need to limit its power to have better battery performance. In the same way that macbooks do not lose performance when they are disconnected from the power supply as practically all other computers on the market do. I know it sounds fanboyish but it's true, I put effort into making the phone as simple as possible for the user and that's fine, you have a cup of soda that you can't modify but that always works well, You have a very powerful performance that you do not need to disable because you will always have good battery performance as well.
