Cinema is why I’m human. Cinema is why I’m sane. Cinema is what I wanna pursue.
I am so happy you included dark A very underrated series which is at the level of breaking bad
Yep
Better than Breaking Bad…and I love Breaking Bad. I’ve watched Dark twice and it might be my favourite piece of media ever.
Absolutely wonderful, thank you so much for this moment of peace
If we hadn't the cinema, we wouldn't be humans. ❤️
Its because we are human , we got cinema.
@@mathewstom378 Or maybe because we have cinema, we are human?

Beautiful. Well done. 👏👏 List of selections?
This edit is my inspiration for all the life i am going to live ahead!
The effect of drama in improving listening and speaking skills for class students I conclude the idea of my master from child 's mother . When I worked at kG . She told me when child runs and say run that is better than write RUN many times . I concluded the idea . The value of practice and how affects on shy students
I hate the fact that a clip from rise of Skywalker plays right after a Clockwork Orange LMAO the fact that they’re even in the same montage dedicated the cinema is baffling
Even more baffling is the fact that they could have used the twin sunset from a new hope but instead chose to use the one from rise of skywalker
At least the Star Wars movies have some beautiful shots with meaning behind them. Can’t say the same for Marvel…
@@quickfilmmakingtips2870 ofc you can. Some Marvel Movies have great cinematography
@Kentucky fried communist Insane

THANK GOD FOR CINEMA
Cinema is life
thank you
We often don't notice how someone has worked for us on that one scene. It is sometimes worth turning into a child at the cinema and living the film, not as a smug adult full of criticism.
❤
cinema = living different lives
Joder, esto es cine 🚬🗿
Everything is an idea, this very world, creation, nothing but a creative idea in God’s mind, and you a piece of God himself as it were playing a part in this play.. But that part of you that is you, is eternal, like a drop in an ocean of which we are all part

Into the wild
No french new wave movie, no russian movies, no japanes golden age movies, no german expressionist movies. I hoped to see movies that helped define what cinema truly is, movies like "Stalker" , "The 7th seal", "Casablanca", "The 7 Samourais" , "Les 400 coups", "8 1/2"..... Or more aesthetics movies like "In the mood for love" , "Once upon a time in the west", "La haine", "Nosferatu", ...... (Happy to see classics like the godfather, The good the bad and the ugly or taxi driver tho) To me cinema was more of an idea when it was trying to find an identity, back then. Just a little too much movies from the last 10 years to my taste. I think since the 2000 movies are more consumed like content than like art. (Even tho classics from the last 20 years exists like "Children of men", "Old Boy", "Drive", "Time and Tide".... but i don't think i have seen any of them in this video)
I usually hate takes related to "they don't make movies like they used to" but when it comes to the grander scheme of things, you hit the nail on the head with "movies have become more content than art" Obviously Hollywood has always been very corporate and studio executives always had the first and last say on what was made and promoted, but it just feels so gross and streamlined today. Art has become an afterthought for bigger companies. Some could argue it was even more restrictive then compared to today because everyone has the means to create their own movie and share it with the world in their pocket, but only the luckiest few are recognized by the four or five media conglomerates that dictate what movies are marketed, are made into trailers and ads, and theatres actually screen. Thank god for studios like A24 but even they might be bought out by Apple or Amazon. And I entirely agree that there should've been more consideration of films during the French New Wave, German Expressionism, Japanese Golden Age, New Hollywood, etc. in this video. I think some fantastic modern films were featured other than the few you mentioned, personally, like Jojo Rabbit, The Lighthouse, Inglorious Basterds, Her... And even though I think the movie is just alright, Joker is beautifully shot. I also think some films like Grand Budapest Hotel and Parasite made it in but the editor didn't choose any of the beautiful shots right in front of them imo Also, Drive was in there I think!
"I think since the 2000 movies are more consumed like content than like art." it always had. art is first a product and then art.
what a shame putting new starwars from disney there. Even more then once, cmon what about all the other amazing movies. The fall for example, or if you have to take starwars take the old ones, they also have amazing visuall.
& ¿Chaplin?
Psycho part completely broke me
Nope.Not even close.
Great video but starwars stuff feels out of place :/
That's my gut feeling too but Star Wars and big 80s action movies, even if it isn't your thing, were huge for the course of cinema
@@thisleftylefty yeah but the starwars this guy put is from the sequels, if they wanted to include starwars, they should have included the originals which actually changed film in a big way
@@Zatom oh I honestly didn’t notice
Funny how you introduce your video with a speech of a man who really know cinema before making a video that doesn't seem to know about cinema, but just focus on American cinema... Sad
thank you
