#stadiumtour #liverpool #everton #anfield #goodisonpark
EDIT (22.12.2023): I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Lily Barnes, the legendary Everton Tour Guide in this video and the face of Goodison Park. A lady who treated all fans (including me) with respect and kindness. Thank you for your wonderful personality during your tours. May you rest easy. This is what it's like to go around both Liverpool's teams tours dressed as a Manchester United shirt. To the many haters that will no doubt comment on this video: UNITED FANS - just because Liverpool has a better tour and that I preferred it to the United tour, doesn't make me any less of a United fan. LIVERPOOL FANS - I got no problem with Liverpool the football team. Even though I support United, I can at least show mutual respect for the arch-enemy. It won't hurt you to do the same. EVERTON FANS - I'm fully aware that Everton has won trophies. What I meant to say in the video was 'haven't won any trophies recently'. I love the team, love the people running the show, love the fans - but the stadium is what it is. EVERY OTHER HATER - I am not a plastic fan, used to live in West Gorton (east Manchester) I am a season ticket holder and have been for many years, through the good times and the bad ones. Especially the bad ones.
I'm an Everton fan I've only just seen this hahahhahaha
Looks like u had a difficult time at anfield lol
i am a liverpool fan ..n i would like to thank you for visiting our holy ground of Anfield" the fortress".. and yeah we will get that premier league title sooner or later..so for now on u can boast about it..but its our time to knock Manchester United from the perch..no bad blood ..just a frank reply to ur "how many league titles" jibe ..good luck mate nd to ur team..
Boleh blah
@@drhrishikeshdeka9998 It's only a fair retaliation for the 'We've won it six times' rhetoric. I swear Liverpool fans are secretly Pittsburgh Steelers fans, because they sound about the same.
You are possibly the bravest man I have ever seen
Nah - it really wasn't that bad. Brave would be sitting in the middle of Celtic supporters wearing a Rangers shirt. Thanks though!
dont know about the bravest, ide say the dumbest going to Anfield wearing that shirt for a stadium tour, wouldn't mind if it had been a match day us against them but it wasnt
This is england ... nothing to worry about. Now try to wear a PSG shirt in Marseille or a Fenerbahce shirt near Galatasaray stadium and you can be considered as brave XD
Why? There’s just plastic Liverpool tourists there lol 😂

I was crying laughing when you were in the media room saying that you were so happy that united beat Everton 4-0 at Goodison when it was the opposite irl😂😂
Yeah, that couldn't have been worse for me. Talk about irony, huh?
Ultimate Bucket List yeh. Good video anyway tho
Thanks bro, much appreciated.

Gotta say as a Liverpool fan, you've some balls haha. Fair play for being very unbiased and giving people a fair review in the video. Impressed actually.
Ah, thanks man. Yes, I'm generally honest and the Liverpool tour (and Gordon, the tour guide) was so much better than ours.
Now where a Celtic shirt at a ibrox (rangers Fc) stadium tour or the opposite 😂😂
Challenge accepted! Although I don't think you'll see the footage if I'm in a hospital in Glasgow.
Or wear a rangers shirt at a Celtic park tour
@@therandomguy5864 Sure, why not.
:) noice cuz I’m a Celtic fan and I rlly want to see you go on a tour at Celtic park especially if your wearing a rangers top
Id love to see that video, as much as the violence has calmed down over the years, I doubt Rangers or Celtic would allow him in wearing rivals top even if the video is for lulz
Anfield is the perfect example of how to retain the classic feeling while modernising a stadium as much as you can! Great video mate
Thanks! I agree, Liverpool have done an excellent job modernising Anfield. But in the case of Goodison park, it's just easier to start from scratch.
It takes a lot of guts to do a Liverpool stadium tour wearing a Man United shirt. Well done
Thanks man, much appreciated!
No it doesn't. Try wearing a PSG shirt in the Marseille or wearing a FC Zürich shirt in the Grasshoppers home end during a derby. You would be dead in both situations.

I've been supporting Liverpool for 40 years and am a season ticket holder. I thought your video was great - informative and full of humour. As much as I hate you mancs, I give you much respect for wearing your top to Anfield. It shows you're a true supporter of your club.
I appreciate that man, thanks very much! I was a season ticket holder up until last season at United and I (and my fellow other true supporters) don't hate Liverpool or the true fans of your club. We understand that we have more in common than what divides us, and whilst we necessarily don't like to see each other win, the rivalry is ultimately good for business, good for improving performance and good for the sport. Sadly, a lot of your other fans (as well as our own) are incredibly hate-filled and narrow-minded. It's those guys that give us true supporters a bad name. Whilst 'us Mancs' generally don't like Liverpool, you can't really tarnish us all with the same brush, because we're not all bad. I'm sure the same can be said about 'you scousers'. Thanks again! :)
Thanks for donating to our transfer fee coffers ! Manu Utd shirt or not, your a fan...welcome .
Ultimate Bucket List Hate filled is what makes a proper rivalry and a great atmosphere which is what football has lost in its recent years. Don’t hate you lot outside of football though.
@@GLSALW Anytime. Enough of your fans do the same to us.
@@Sam-xs5he I respectfully disagree, because hatred causes humans to act irrationally. It's not okay to chastise a black man or (in this case) a Chinese man because of the colour of their skin, but it is seemingly okay if he's wearing a United shirt? Where is the logic in that?
I would visit Man U and Everton stadiums before they get relegated into obsecuriy

The reactions of the Liverpool stuff are hilarious but your comparison between the Liverpool and Everton stuff is absolutely jokes and that made me laugh.
Thanks - I appreciate that. And yes, the Liverpool staff ... well, I kinda expected that!
@@UltimateBucketList I wonder how you have been treated if you were wearing a Liverpool shirt while making a tour of Old Trafford.
Believe it or not, they wouldn't have done anything different. The difference between United's staff and Liverpool's staff is that Liverpool actually cares enough about their job to give you a good ribbing. United's staff don't give a shit about anyone, including their own fans. And yes I really am a United fan, and yes I have experienced this first hand.
@@UltimateBucketList If they treat their own fans like that, then there's a huge problem that needs to be fixed right away.
You're not wrong there!
As a American that lives in Louisiana, you basically did the equivalent of a Alabama fan showing up to Tiger Stadium at LSU. You are a brave man.
Basically yeah. And thanks!
As a life-long Liverpool fan, I don't think I can ever accept if Liverpool FC were to move out to a new stadium. Anfield is such a hallowed ground full of history and all the glorious memories. A new ground, no matter how modern or big, will never have the same aura.
I think that's true for Anfield - even Gordon said during the tour that a new stadium just would not be Anfield, hence the redevelopment. Some teams however, need to blow up their stadium and start again from scratch.
When I was visiting Anfield, theres one guy who wore Spain jersey with Ramos name on it 😂
That's not unusual at Anfield.
@@davvalaa7024 How sad that you feel the need to comment that. Liverpool have international fans just like United, just like all the big clubs. It's not unusual for a tourist to visit Anfield for a game and for them to wear whatever shirt from whatever country they're from. I've seen it at Anfield. I've been to Anfield to watch games. Just because you don't see it (highly doubtful) doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
No disrespect, but the original commenter saw it. That must mean that it happened. I've seen it too. Your testimony implies that we are both liars, of which we are not. A neutral rarely gets a ticket. That's funny, I've managed to get them and I don't even like your team. It might surprise you to learn that you don't have to be from Liverpool to know things about Liverpool Football Club. That's such an ancient mentality. Do you also think that to be English, you have to be white? Because you're implying the same thing.
Ultimate Bucket List I was talking to one of the staffs and we saw that guy. then the staff PRETEND to beat that guy (in a funny manner). and we all having a laugh. that's how it happened. so I think that's okay for him to wear whatever jersey he wants
Hahahahahahahaha. Such a triggered Liverpool fan, who's only redeeming quality is to insult others when they don't really have a valid argument against. When you have to result to personal attacks and petty insults, you've lost the argument. I win. And the proof of that is that you feel the need to attack me on a personal level. By the way ... it's clear that you're just trolling, as no right minded person would react so vehemently to an otherwise innocuous comment. Now, please go back to 1950 where your outdated mentality lies. Bye!
Go to boca junior stadium wearing River plate Jersey... It will be a great experience 👍
Sure, why not?! It's only suicide.
I've been to Buenos Aires, believe me, don't ever do that.
Of course. You'll experience a (real) heaven.
There’s a story about a guy who went to get a tattoo of the Boca Juniors crest. Didn’t know the tattoo artist was a River Plate supporter. Got a tattoo of a penis on his back with Boca Juniors written below it.

A United fan admitting Anfield is a nicer stadium than Old Trafford? Wow these really are dark times for United. #YNWA
Ah, it's no big secret. Old Trafford is an ageing facility that's being run on a shoestring. I've been saying for years that we should do a Tottenham and build a new stadium right next door. But what do the fans know, right?
@@UltimateBucketList maybe instead of building it next door why not just Demolish Old Trafford and rebuild it on the same sight?
@@secla_SC that would be the easiest solution for sure, but it'd leave them homeless for a few seasons. I doubt that City would happily ground-share with their arch rivals for that long.

I'm proud as an Everton fan that you were welcomed with open arms to Goodison. It's a reflection on us as a club, we're not a nasty bunch and we don't hate other teams (except the kopites of course) 😂I agree with you that Goodison isn't good enough for a proud club like ours though, there's a lot of history there but it's time to move on.
Agreed! I like Evertonians, in fact - I've never met an Everton fan I didn't like. They're different in mentality. Can't wait for Bramley Moore Dock to open. Can't come quick enough!
Who said that Liverpool were a nasty bunch. You realise that if you went into old Trafford with a Liverpool top on they would’ve (most likely) done the same exact thing?

Yes, most of the time nobody hurts you. Sometimes that doesn't happen. And yes, I know about the violence in Argentina. Thanks! :)
Something that's never mentioned is that while Manchester United fans see Liverpool as their big nearby rivals, for most Liverpool fans, that's not the case. Reason being that United fans tend to be from the North West while Liverpool have a national UK supporter base, so most are not so bothered about the rivalry. And there's no ideology behind it: it's nothing like Real Madrid and Barcelona - a nationally-supported Spanish institution versus the representative of Catalan nationalism.

Yeah, putting on a Liverpool shirt might have that affect on people! Old Trafford is still worth visiting - if you get to see a game there, anywhere in the lower tier is a decent seat. Hii Ultimate bucket list, another great video and love from India. Just wanted to know is these stadium tours have got some specific timing and schedules? And can we easily buy the tickets at the stadium itself or pre-booking recommended?
Thanks! And yes, they do have specific times and schedules. The best thing to do is look on each team's website and book directly there to guarantee your ticket on the tour.
I have to say, this is a pretty good list of preferences for one stadium over another in terms of the quality of the tour and the stadium design altogether (if there's only time to do ONE stadium tour, of course). You've suggested going to "City over United," "Liverpool over Everton," and even "Liverpool over United." With that said, here's the million-dollar question (or two, actually) that's been on my mind. 1. "If I only have time to do ONE stadium tour, do I go to City or Liverpool?" 2. "Likewise, do I either go to Everton or United?"
If you are to believe my hierarchy (and obviously it's a subjective opinion), it'd be Liverpool's tour over City's and Everton's tour over United's. But again, that's largely subjective and shouldn't really be taken seriously.
Even though am a Liverpool fan I like you with your honesty and analysis

I took the tour just a week ago, it was awesome! I noticed the Liverpool emblem is not on the main floor in the center of the dressing room like it is now. It just looks boring plain grey in the video. It looks nice for pictures. I also got busted with a Manchester City scarf I had in my backpack when they did the bag search lol. I had just gone the previous night to watch a Man City Champions league game. What the security guard said to me was: "is that a city scarf? I'll keep the secret for you".
Yeah, the staff are actually okay at Liverpool. And the logo in the floor - that was probably a new edition this season.

Yeah I'll probably do one at the new Everton stadium when it opens.
These Liverpool staff are not joking around at all. I love it😀 they are very passionate
No, they are.
I'd like to add that I've had this tour with this man, and he repitedly called me karius (Cuz I look like him a bit) Propper legend.
Yeah, Gordon was awesome for sure. But in hindsight, I'm not sure being called 'Karius' is a compliment?!
I’m a bit shocked of why they didn’t show the trophy’s at Goodison
You got to see some.
I just did the Liverpool tour today and Gordon was my tour guide I understand what you were saying amazing guide
Did you mention that he's famous and that he's on this video?
Na didn’t wasn’t sure if it was him or man United tour at the time that said no recording I wish I had said it though
I'm sure he gets that all the time now!
I dont quite understand about the 1999 ucl trophy being displayed there. Care to explain?
Once a team wins the UCL five times, they get to keep the current (actual) trophy - and a new one is built. So the one that United won and lifted in 1999 now permanently resides in Liverpool. That said, most teams get an exact replica anyway, so it's not the big deal that Liverpool fans make it out to be.
@@UltimateBucketList out of all places it could ended up in.
When he went in to the Liverpool ground with a man united top Him: All the Liverpool staff:your not a clown your the entire circus
Nope, I never got that. The Liverpool staff were okay. I can't say the same for their fans.
It's a meme
Ultimate Bucket List r/woooosh
@@UltimateBucketList What the fuck do you expect..?? Talk about a red rag to a bull. Stop being a knobhead son & deliberately winding people up & then complaining when they respond. I'm sure that if I wore a Liverpool shirt at OT, I'd get some stick. Grow up.
Ivor Scrotumic what’s OT
I’m in the vid I’m the kid with the black and grey jacket at anfield
Ah no way, really?! That's cool - you're famous dude! :)
Ultimate Bucket List thanks bro I think I spoke to u too
@@ellisdunne6576 yeah you probably did.
Ultimate Bucket List great vid u should go back to anfield for a game
@@ellisdunne6576 I've been to Anfield once in the away end with the United fans. I think it was a pretty forgettable game a few years ago. I'm sure the atmosphere in the Kop is pretty good, though I've just done an AC Milan game and that was something else.
New challenge (for after lockdown) wear an Aston Villa shirt during the st.andrews tour and wear a Birmingham city shirt at villa park
BCFC don't even know when their own tours are - so that might be a problem.
Ultimate Bucket List well this might be a good thing for you even with the “admittance” rule added to you Celtic and Rangers tours I doubt any brummie would care and still try to fight you.
I'm sorry but can you tell us what the price of the match tickets are, since you told us they are 40-60 pounds in the video for Old Trafford, are they the same for Anfield or its cheaper there ?
Depends. Cup games are usually cheaper and more easily accessible. Prices start from £20 and go up to £60 at Anfield. Everton's is slightly cheaper, especially for League games.
@@UltimateBucketList Thank you !
Have you seen our New Stadium in Bramley Moore Dork? Go there on your next visit in 2020
I've seen the plans, that place looks amazing! Will have to go for sure!
2020. Haha. Very optimistic.
@@UltimateBucketList Do that, Will go there soon
@@smthompson89 yeah, I don't think it'll be open for another 5+ years or so.
“Am I going to find any premier league trophies here?” 😂😂😂
It's funny because it's true ... at the time of writing.
big jurgen 6 times champions league
Am I going to find any champions league trophies when I go to etihad
“Am I going to find any resemblance of a club whatsoever when I visit the Athletics stadium?” 🤣🤣
hippynmagic yes
the Anfield tour has updated this season I think. Now you don't have a tour guide and only use the screen thing. I like that better because you can go around the stadium how fast or slow you want don't have to wait on anyone or rush through the whole thing 🙂
Oh really? I only did that last season and I thought it was one of the better tours out there as it is.
@@UltimateBucketList Yeah it's even more amazing now! and all the staff was just joking about Everton and Man Utd😂
Have u ever tryed at stadium tour at siant marys stadium (southampton) with a portsmouth top on
No.
Your favourite phrase is it’s actually kinda cool😂
It probably is!
Ultimate Bucket List hahahaha😂🤣
How have Everton won hardly anything when they have won nine league titles
READ the top comment.
Ultimate Bucket List his pp is fortnite don’t judge him
Ive had gordon as my anfield tour guide. I agree with what you said about him.
Excellent guy!
Liverpool fan here. I really enjoyed your video. Respect to you. Glad you enjoyed Anfield, and I'm sure any micky taking was in jest and good natured. People who respect us get respect right back. I did the Barcelona tour with a Real Madrid fan in the group who wore his club shirt. Similar reaction to yours at Anfield. No genuine animosity. Anyway, nice video.
Thanks! I'm glad someone realises that it's not the end of the world or punching someone's sainted mother to wear a shirt at the home of the arch rivals. There are way too many people out there who should lighten the hell up, but I'm glad that you can see it for the light hearted fun that it is. Appreciate the comments man, check out my channel for more like this :)
@@UltimateBucketList Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely check out your other stuff. Enjoy the season (but not too much, eh). ;) All the best to you.
You will see a Premier League trophy this season mate!
Yeah ... at Manchester City.
@@UltimateBucketList City are 14 points behind Liverpool. Highly unlikely!
If Newcastle can drop a 12 point lead after Christmas, Liverpool can drop a 14 point lead before. Unlikely? Yes. Possible? Yes.
@@UltimateBucketList Yes, it is possible and Liverpool have been the league leaders at Christmas in the past and gone on to lose the title. While that Newcastle team under Keegan were a phenomenal attacking team they had a non-existent defence, Liverpool are a well rounded team and they don't have a lot of weaknesses at the front or back.
why are you going to liverpool in a manshaster unided shirt
Because I can.
@@UltimateBucketList Bit fucking weird though, attention seeking?
Actually enjoyed this tour video. Nice work mate 👍
Awesome, thank you!
great review. We are all football supporters with our own loyalties. ~Good luck to your team.
Thank you sir! Same to you.
COME ON LIVERPOOL 🛑🛑❤️❤️❤️
Fair enough.
Oles at the wheel tell me how good does it feel you signed maguire bisaka and James yet you still can not win any games
Two of those three players have been injured. Tough to win games when your players aren't on the field.
Allison wasnt on the feild and we won matches
@@thogden1253 One starting goalkeeper, not 6 starting outfield players.

I think it'll happen, the plans look good. It's just a matter of time I think.
Claiming all these league titles, European Cups, etc as well Mr Drumpf?
