I did the Goodison tour last Saturday but also walked to view Bramley Moore...its absolute chalk and cheese...loved Goodison as never been there before but we need to move to progress...UTFT!!

That Everton stadium looks to be 3/4 built , i'd be amazed if it wasn't finished this year , the music from 2m 30 secs gets me everytime lol love it , I'm an Arsenal fan and i'm in love with this stadium already probably because i've watched it getting built , i would hate to be the 3 people putting in the seats by hand , i'm thinking i have 18,000 seats to put in here haha
It’s is scheduled to be completed by Christmas 2024.

@@1970pizzadon’t want the disruption of a mid season switch and also want to give the Grand Old Lady of Goodison a proper end of season send off I believe!

@@1970pizza yeah should’ve gone bigger. I believe it has the capability to increase to 60k with safe standing rule changes, but in terms of scale that’s as big as they could push massing of the stadium given the UNESCO World Heritage Site Status. Pretty surprising they were allowed to build it there at all in fairness. The site technically has the same level of heritage protection as Stone Henge 😂
it's a true football arena.. like a stage for the players.. unlike some other stadiums with funny run-off areas behind the goal or unnecessary gaps between the edge of the pitch and the stands.. and unobstructed view from any seat around the pitch.. brilliant design.. and with the waterfront as the backdrop, Everton fans should be proud of this.. hope they will kick-off the first ball in the EPL..

It is impressive but ime surprised going to all that trouble and expense for only 13000 extra capacity. I would have gone another level higher and made it 65k/70k capacity.

All seems about the dock ground nobody seems to be mentioning the road outside the dock ground if everton move ground and they leave that road as it is outside the dock ground its going to take hours getting to the match and the same getting to houses after the match plus the rail network won't be able to handle the crowds eg match people and people leaving work etc it's going to be chaos your going to have 30 thousand cars maybe more plus coaches etc decending there the congestion is going to be horrendous and there is very limited parking outside or near the dock ground
That's too much for a team like Everton 😏

Apparently, for every new seat they install, they get a point deducted by the Premier League.
