    • @@purpleethereum8571 Maldini wasn't a free kick specialist or a long distance shot taker or an expert crosser of the ball like Roberto Carlos, Carlos can give an accurate crossing assist with his back facing the 18yard box, just check his assists for Zidane in the 2002 champions league finals, thats just 1 of his trademarks...infact his finishing is even better than most strikers, he scored insane goals bro, & I even thought Maldini was more of a centre back than a left back... Carlos was just in a breed & class of his own, not sure anyone come close..

  • Something many people forget is that Roberto Carlos was one of the cleanest players ever, never a cheater or legs kickers like many around then. He considered that showing poor footballer lack of capabilities. So true Sportsman, also off the Field. No maladjusted personal life, and very Christian. A very good and honest person, a noble spirit, a true Gentleman. If ever the Referees needed supporting testimony and his 2 liniers were not clear enough, he could count with looking at Roberto Carlos and get just a look at his face gesture, no need of words.

  • El mejor lateral de todos los tiempos era algo de locos no tenia sentido lo de ese hombre a día de hoy no hay ningún lateral que lo haya superado, Marcelo es otro crack que he disfrutado viéndolo jugar desde su primera temporada como suplente de este dios todo poderoso de la banda izquierda... menuda bestia de 160 cm. , con un tren inferior digno de un caballo, si te ponías de barrera en frente a ese tío tirando una falta lo único que te quedaba era rezar para que el balón fuera gol o fuera pero que no te tocara y lo de los penaltis pobres porteros lo más parecido a que te fusilaran en la guerra civil.

    • Adelantado a su tiempo ?? que hablas amigo ?...se nota que no eres de los 90...habian muchos laterales en esa epoca del mismo estilo que R.C..velocidad,aceleración ,disparo potentisimo,teledirección,curva irreal y actitud ofensiva ...dejando en claro que roberto no era muy defensivo osea sabia taclear pero no tenia el marcaje exacto de anticipacion como maldini o krol pero lo compensaba con su entrega y una ofensiva en banda lateral tremenda ...laterales como R.C..tenemos a Robert Jarni..brehme..mihailovic..Branco.. .iordanescu...petrescu...jansen... Todos francotiradores y todos pie zurdos no te he dado ningun pie derecho quitando solo a petrescu que dominaba ambas bandas.

    • @@aarrmmhh Obvio el mejor betis incluso le jugaba de igual a igual a los grandes en esa epoca junto al depor ,valencia y atletico eran los que peleaban por la liga y no como en la epoca de mesai y cristiano que solo el real y barza dominaron en 10 años y que solo tenia al atletico como perseguidor eso fue la falta de nuevo talento por eso fueron desapareciendo esos clubes quedando en banca rota...te acuerdas de winning eleven 3 de play station uno ? ..Jarni tenia 9 de velocidad y 9 de disparo y 8 de dribbling y 8 de pase ...lo podias usar en croacia y en el equipo de resto del mundo .Saludos

  • No se quién tenía piernas más poderosas, si Roberto Carlos o el culturista Tom Platz (es una hipérbole)... Una bestia impresionante, para mi el jugador con el que más he disfrutado el fútbol, y mira que han pasado años desde que le vi jugar aquellos maravillosos años.
