for Christ's sake please include prices in these types of videos
why prices dont matter in these vids find it out your self cause if your getting one of these headsets prices shouldnt matter as there basically as much as a console
saints FPS well it is still something id like to know if I'd be buying one of these because some are twice the price of the others in this video. beside in the budget accessories videos they don't include prices either
I'd probably say it's because prices vary from retailer to retailer and even country to country. As saint said you can easily check the price for yourself and stop being lazy :p
If I wouldn't be lazy I'd not be watching this video and I would find something good myself
Berend Dekker GOOGLE BRO
my wallet really didn't want me to watch this
Maybe ur parents wallet wants to
Wow, the mic quality sounds fantastic. How you described it perfectly lets me hear the mic quality.
awesome video also love the background music you guys had going was just awesome all together
The HyperX Cloud II's are awesome,Only con is the mic
Kaneki :3 the mic is super low
I got the astro A50's for the ps4... They're perfect if you like to play tactical shooters like rainbow 6... The flip up mute is nice aswell, The sound and battery life span are awesome! All in all i can only say get the astros Il answer questions about the headset!
Carnage Sausage a headset is a headset i know its your money but....like come on all the headsets sound the same for me
Carnage Sausage how much they cost
How is the battery life? My logitech 930s are falling apart, and battery is an important factor
Caleb Bell too much! I got mine because there was a sale goin on...it was 200€
Carnage Sausage how long does the battery last
Glad you put the 800 on the list! I've had one of the older H Wireless version for a while now, best headset purchase I've ever made, and I've made some!
I've had the same Razer Kraken headset for 4 years now and it's still going strong.
Best headset: Don't get a headset. Get the Sennheiser HD598's, Philips SHP9500 or Audio Technica M40X's with a modmic or vmoda boom mic instead.
Andre Buwalda I did that but I got M50-Xs
TechWithAngelo they are not good
TechWithAngelo m50x's are okish for gaming, but the m40x's are actually better. Nothing wrong if you do like em, though!
Andre Buwalda I did that with my m50x. it works pretty well but the wires are annoying lol. having one wire for mic and the other for headset gets bulky when playing but it's not over bearing 9.5/10 would recommend .
+Andre Buwalda HAHA. No thanks, I am not into using such cjheap garbage.
Lol im happy you uploaded a video about headphones, I was just going to buy new headphones but I didn't know which where/are the best.
Reef you have come to the wrong place, keep researching, you won't regret doing so.
Reef 3 words: hyperx cloud 2!
Reef better to buy a mid end pair of headphones and a cheap USB mic
Hyperx cloud revolver is fantastic.
Sennheiser, or the cloud revolver. If you want even better audio, refer to proper headphones and a separate mic. :p
I have had the Astro A40s for about 5-6 months now? Give or take a li'l bit. I am absolutely in love with this headset. Super comfortable, easy master volume with the dial to choose whether you want your party chat heavy, or game audio heavy. Plus it has an aux input on the Mixamp Pro so you can play music from your phone or watch a video without disconnecting the headset and plugging it back in. Plus the options for EQ to load up on the Mixamp is a great feature whether to listen to the highs or lows through the game or whatever you're doing. Only real draw back for me, because I play at a desk, the cord from the Mixamp to the headset, I've caught it getting up and pulled the headset to the ground...but still a great headset, plus you can customize with your owns plates on the side and switch to a noise cancelling set up if you want to.
Thanks gameranx, for working as hard as you do for daily videos. There's only like four of you guys.
the rubber band is comfortble lol . i bought them 1 week ago , so far so good , 3D audio with horizon and uncharted , simply mind blowing .
Kandem-Yee Has there been any other games with 3D audio? I've been eyeing the Platinums, but I haven't been able to find a complete list of games that support the 3D audio...
Wow.... y'all are popular. Got on to youtube, and saw this video. Noticed it was only published 1 minute ago, and figured I'd be in the first 10. Nope. 232 views. Hurray for gameranx gaining popularity. Love you guys.
Boom! Thanks!
ReaMcCartneyv Z
I love Logitech and that neon look sold me on em Might just be picking these up and retiring my Hyper X Stingers
Went out and got the 800 series because of this review, loving them... thanks alot
Have had the Steelseries headset for a loong time now. It is just perfect. In every way. And with the Soundblaster Z soundcard, with Dolby Digital Live (live surround sound encoding), the sound is frickin fantastic. And I have tried the others. If you want to buy, BUY THIS!
Best gaming headset? Any Sennheiser or similar brand with a antlion mod mic. Hyper x cloud is the only headset without trash audio and a decent mic.
LinusScrubTips the Razer Kraken V2 has the best microphone + sound with a customizable EQ and amazing Microphone
Equinox Quasar lol
Razer? Really???
Equinox Quasar fucken razer fanboy. Razer products are shit. The only good thing is the deathadder.
KFC Mayn Oh please, tell me that a HyperX cloud has a good mic or good sound, I like razer for their chroma products, and their reliable. Everyone saying " my mouse broke in 3 weeks" are complete lairs and are just making razer look bad.
I use my Sennheiser momentums and my Bose QC25 noise cancelling headphones when I game. But I am expecting my massdrop x sennheiser 6xx openbacks in August. I plan on pairing it with a modmic 5 boom mic for quality mic performance. Good video, good comments, well done
I use Lucid Sound's LS30 headset. Picked them up at Pax East 2016. There are two mics on the headset (one boom one built-in) and they're sub-par, but the headset itself is pretty darn good. Very solid construction, amazing sound quality, plug-and-play for PC, XBone and PS4. Plus they are wireless and the battery lasts for ~8 hours continuous use. Recharges via micro-usb. Also have very easy on-ear controls for both in/out volumes.
Got this turtle beach headset that works with any console or anything with an audio jack, has a good mic, good fit, and good sound, all on sale for $40; what more can you ask for really?
Same here. good quality, long lasting and cheap. There really is nothing else you can ask for. Tbh I use them for everything, cuz there's no sense in buying an extra pair of headphones exclusively for music or KZhead.
GenJotsu , What more can I ask? Better sound quality.
GenJotsu i've worn 250€ turtle beaches and honestly they still feel cheap they still sound cheap and if u wear a headset or headphone that is really high quality i swear it's soooo much better than turtle beaches
GenJotsu I have the elite pro with mix amp and its the nicest headset I've ever owned
GenJotsu anything that isn't turtle beach
steelseries 800 must have been the number one because the 7.1 surround sound works both on pc and ps4 in the others it just works for pc
Vince Friel that’s not what it says on Amazon
got the logitech g933 recently, I've been nothing but pleased with them.
Really liked the choices. I am a couch pc gamer and I am still in love with my 1 year old logitech g930.
Astro a40 🙌🙌
Juwan Evelyn worst headset... shit mic, eh on a comfortable level, and I’ve been through two randomly breaking after about a year
I've had my Astro a50 for about 5years now, since release. Dropped them tons of time, only problem is the rubber mic is starting to get cracks. Still though not a single problem at all. Awesome sound perfect for gaming.
What is the best headphone for hearing footsteps at long ranges, and being abble to hear where people are at all times in fps games, price is not a problem
Aksel Rande my pick would be razer kraken 7.1 version
Logitech does a great job with on board software that is designed for footsteps.
I have the XO fours and work great when hearing enemies next to you
Supahman453 TM HAHAHHAHAHHA RAZER?
Anything Sennheiser, the best gaming one being the Game One
I use the G930 and they are really comfortable with great noise cancelling, plus wireless is what I need I can listen to music or continue talking to friends all over my house so I look forward to checking out the G933's
You probably just convinced me to get the Logitech headset (the #1 headset in the list). Nice.
i love you
love you.
gameranx thanks bud
gameranx no razer ??? why becuse the 7.1 pro is super
Love you too
nohomo
I have a turtle beach XO four stealth, great for its price.
Ezekiel Elliott same here
Omar Mendoza hey how about let's start our own KZhead channel and what's your ps4 name
Ezekiel Elliott I hate the name that's a deal breaker
I got the Star Wars turtle beach headset Amazing plug and play with great audio and good mic
I just ordered some Sades, I'm excited to try them!
i am poor, i dont use any headsets
arnas784 smartphone headset works very good to.
@GamingTV - your right, it always makes me mad when I see kids from not so wealthy families going to the gift shop and buying everything they think is cool, getting a new iPhone every time a new one comes out, spending money on video games, you get it. And then I just think "guys, do you really NEED that? is it ever going to do anything for you?" and "REALLY? you have $50 dollars and you're gonna spend ALL of it on stupid crap like Clash Royale??? And Pokemon Go???"
Sorry, I should have clarified, my bad. By "spending money on video games," I mean buying in-game purchases, not buying the game itself.
ILoveCandyz So who are you to judge? There's better ways to point out what people can't see rather than calling them a bunch of bad things.
GamingTV I completely agree man. God rewards those who are diligent, hard workers and smart with what they have. We live in an extremely materialistic society and that's probably why everyone is so depressed. They view and amount themselves solely by the things that are tangible to them. It's a delusional messed up world out there.
When you buy gaming headphones only to hear random guy playing random music.... sigh
Nawt gawd and praise the lord for that
kartik bhasin Praise Lord Gaben!
Depends on what game you play. You probably play toxic games like COD and CSGO. Smh
Tommy Mack Name a game that doesn't have this in online sessions.
I have a set of the wireless G933 and I have to say I love them. I do get a bit of ear fatigue when wearing for a long time but that's one of the coolest things. the battery lasts for such a crazy long time!
I use Bose Quiet comfort myself. It is the most comfortable headset I ever owned in 20years. I sit next to a load portable AC unit so having active noise cancelling really does help. I can enjoy my content at lower volume and easy for my ear.
Just get high-end headphones and a modmic or blue snowball
I have that but having a blue snowball is good and bad like sometimes my friends cant hear me and my mic audio cuts of. But also my mic quality is amazing
Yeah I get the same thing, it's usually not that bad
Eh, I'm not so big on USB mics. I had a Blue Snowball iCE mic and it worked okay in Windows(but needed to be unplugged and plugged back in to work and prevented Dark Souls from starting when plugged in) and oddly did not work at all with ALSA in any Linux OS(although I've heard the regular Blue Snowball works fine). Anyway, I use an XLR mic now and I prefer to have the digital component being a separate sound card or DAC, it's less prone to issues and you have more control over your audio.
Stereo sound? No thanks.
Dude stereo is better than simulated 7.1, that shit just mess up the sound quality.
I just got the Astro A50s late 2016 (when they where released) and I love them. I highly recommend them if you have the money to spend. Also the mic quality has greatly improved from the older Astro headsets.
Nick Randolph I got my Astro a50s (for Xbox one) today and I am absolutely loving them
Hey nick, I am thinking about buying those astros. Are they still good? Any complaints?
Derpy Derpbrough yep amazing
a40s on fortnite with the mix amp are killer. number 1 in my heart
Astro's are overpriced and not worth the money. You can just buy an audiophile headphone and a seperate mic for 150$ and get the same quality.
I had a razer kraken 7.1 it was a gift from my brother. And it died yesterday and i dont much about these kind of stuff. Thank you for your recomendations now i have some ideas.
Hello hope everybody has a fantastic day!
DragonSlayer X28 thanks! Wish everyone will be nice as u are
עמית דונגי כהן As nice as you are*
**** as nice as you are have a good day W4RCHEUR
598 cs with a boom mic accessory
I own the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma and honestly I couldn't be in love with them more. They provide great audio quality, the microphone is awesome, it has good noise cancellation. My sister was talking to me 2 feet away from me and my friend heard nothing but me whilst playing games. Instead of having an audio jack it plugs in through USB. It fits around my ears perfectly and they don't really get sweaty. The microphone also can be pullet out and in, it is very flexible and also has a mute button for those times when you don't want the person you're speaking with to hear what you say. For the price I payed, I think it was well worth it.
Been running with the Astro A40's with a mix amp for a while now and really like them. Never too sure about the sound quality on wireless headsets.
Ummm game zeroes need an amp/dac to actually work. They're 150 ohm your motherboard or controller aren't going to give it the juice it needs.
is that why i feel the audio is flat and pretty flat bass? WHy does the mic seema bit quiet, does an amp make the mic bettre?
yeah an amp is going to give it the juice it needs.
They are CRAP for gaming. They should take the game out of the title. Avoid.
Yeah right. I've had the G4ME Zero. It was awesome with just a Sound Blaster Z. Best mic in any gaming headset. Best sound clarity. Being able to actually hear accurately what's going on is the thing in competitive gaming, not distorted shit bassheavy boomboom with no ability to distinct things like footsteps. Then i bought the Sennheiser Game One and it's even better, the ability to hear where things are coming from with the absolute best soundclarity/natural sound is just amazing.
I HAVE THE G933 BOIS LETSSSSS GOOOOOOOO
heffeathome I love my g933s they work awesome with my pc, ps4 and Xbox
Dorian GrimStorm does the surround sound work on ps4
Thomas visser no
me too bro !!!
Thomas visser Only the shit Playstation headset's allow 7.1 But trust me 7.1 sounds awful on Console's in general.
I own the logitech 633 and those things are awesome...best sound so far from all my headsets.
After purchasing 2-3 different headphones I finally picked up the Stealth 350vr headphones for my psvr and they are pretty bad ass and yes they do work without having the psvr and just plugging it into the Ps4 controller. I've had them for about 2 months and honestly I have not thought about picking up any other headphones since these and they work universally like in other systems. And I only spent about $60 on sale but without sale its like $79. ohh and yea they have 3D audio!!
I feel like the astro a50 is not so good comparing too this list and that the SteelSeries Arctis 3/5/7 Are better than the SteelSeries Siberia 800.
siberia is liteally the best lineup from steelseries tho
EpicDk p
Just bought the arctics 3, most comfortable headset I've ever had. Steel series has done a good job.
just use a microwave
PorkMeatzz - HackedByScarce is yes
PorkMeatzz - HackedByScarce That's what everyone else seems to do.
Dude link me your profile pic 😂
Thats what I do
im rocking old school logitech G930. i love them they went through a fire and still work after about 4 yrs of consent use. they are very comfy and the sound is nice. ill deff be looking into the g933 when they do finally stop working
I use a PowerA Fusion headset for both pc and xbox; it's so easy to switch between, and they sound pretty decent.
okay if i dont care it costs 7000$ or something what do i buy
nicolas lundsteen Depends what you want. If you want a gaming headset go with the Sennheiser Game one. Headphones with a mod mic or a usb mic is the best option for really good audio.
Fredrik HL i want one with a decent mic but really good sound
nicolas lundsteen Go with the Sennheiser Game one in that case great mic and great audio. They are more or less the Sennheiser HD598 with a good mic added.
Fredrik HL ok thanks
nicolaszx1234 Logitech>Senheiser
Where is steelseries arctis? are those considered budget??
PhiliThunder They are cheaper than the headsetes on this list.
Its not that Good tho
I know it is late, but I came from the arctis 5's to the 7's. The arctis headsets are awesome, I've been reported for cheating because I can where everyone is.
do you use the dts x though?
PhiliThunder guys can u pls respond to me as soon as possible I need to know which is better a40tr or a50? I want to know which is better in sound mic and comfort
im superhappy with my hyperx cloud 2 headset that i use!, audio is great, its comterable, good mic quality ETC
I got the Astro A40's with the mix amp pro. They are awesome in my opinion. Upped my gameplay in call of duty and R6 siege quite a lot with the Dolby 7.1 surround sound. Couldn't recommend them more from my perspective. Thinking about upgrading to the A50 just for the wireless and flip up mute mic. Though the A40 is pimp because I can also hook them up to my phone and smash some music!
I dont need wireless ....
HyperX Cloud II
NeymarSkillZ ت the mic is shit in it
I agree with Enfield. I own this headset but the microphone quality is just really bad. The headset itself is however very comfortable and has good audio quality.
Nalle Puh the cord can easily break, you know how in earbuds when one side doesn't work? Yeah that happened with the Cloud II
Nalle Puh Yea I have hyper x cloud core which are basically Hyperx 1 or whatever it’s called
These suck for xbox one, I just bought them and then returned them. They are primarily made for PC users and I could see them being great for that but for console, they are a one star.
As of lately been using the, Turtle Beach Stealth 600. But, also recently picked up the Stealth 700 to use with the app. Also picked up the, Steele Series 800 as well. Gonna give those a shot too
I love my Turtle Beach Elite 800 should def be on this list. Touch pads on each side for b/tooth, volume, sound output, chat volume etc. and connect to my phone app ☺ for custom sounds and much more.
iso am getting these... *looks in wallet* ... damm you steam!!!
SA 4982 shut the fuck up. It's a joke, just appreciate the joke on how we spend a lot of money on steam. And if you don't like the joke, then we don't actually give a shit and there is no need to inform us about your negativity

I use the Siberia steelseries 350. a bit of an older headset but great value. spent around $40-50 and it out preforms some other more expensive headsets sound-wise imo. plus the mic is really good. would recommend to any who want a quality budget hedset.
I have the Logitech it's very tight on the head.. But sound detection in fps is amazing cab hear each individual footstep and its direction or elevation... I recently got the sennhieser game zero cant wait to try it out
To everybody saying first- Firstly, you aren't first, secondly, nobody really cares. Have a nice day 😊
Eater Of Earth you look like a inbred potato
SokoKing How the fuck did you know? I thought I didn't tell anybody??? Also, AN inbred potato, not A inbred potato You are welcome
SokoKing of
JEFF HUNT ?
i got the logitech g933 and its great. i use it for PC xbox one and for music. i would recommend it to anyone.
Jordan Craig good to hear, im planning on buying it both for pc gaming and music
hey man i heard theres alot of issues about the 5 min sleep mode. how do you think about that
There's an option to change the sleep mode in the Logitech Gaming Software
I would recommend a ps4 my dude.
Got the Steelseries Arctis 5 a few weeks back, and it's the best one I've had so far, great design, great sound stage and good control over the equalizer with the Steelseries software.. Bought them as a replacement for my Logitech G35's because I wanted a louder headset which I could listen to music with... Since these have drivers that Steelseries puts in 300 dollar headsets.. They are quite alright :D
i have used the logitech g933 and i am so glad they are on the list because they have changed how i can play CSGO i can hear footsteps at lower tunnels at car everytime and if you have to chose from the wire and wireless version chose the wireless it is such a nice feature
I'm surprised Razer didn't make it on here with any of their products.
Because they are mostly overpriced shit :D
Razer suck
the Turtle Beach Stealth 520's have 50mm speakers, chat boost and outside noise cancellation, they have 7.1 surround sound, supreme bass, superhuman hearing, and it ISN'T FUCKING INCLUDED??? WTF GAMERANX
They're not comfortable
The plastic is cheap af mine snapped yesterday never buying another turtle beach headset again straight up trash
Turtle Beach is crap, crap, crap!!!
KingkipTv you should buy the turtle beach stealth it is really good
Steele series is crap crap crap.
My current headset is a Corsair Vengeance H1500. Super comfy, excellent bass, and pretty good with vocals/highs. I use it for gaming, music, and watching KZhead. I'm thinking about either getting a Steelseries Arctis 5, Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma V2, or HyperX Cloud II. Not really sure which I want out of those three yet though.
I love my Sentry Arches that were $25 and they have great sound and directional and very good bass along with a decent Mic.
Hyper x cloud 2? No just me. Ok
Alex Jones I don't like them.
Fredrik HL why?
Maybe people just hate the mic, besides that yeah, your right, the Hyper x cloud 2 is amazing.
Alex Jones they look ugly af
I'm early, let me think of a joke... I thought these jokes were over.
they are so stfu
I use a Turtle Beach Elite Pro. They are very neat and comfy but they are bulky which I like for home use but don't ever take them outside the house for this reason(and they are expensive so I don't want to break them or have them stolen/lost). I do like the aesthetics of these headsets and I connect them to a my controller whenever I am playing single play but connect them to a wired dongle that came with older Turtle Beach Recon 60P Amp.
Got the a50s gen 3 great headset. With the right eq settings you can hear all footsteps.
Sennheiser HD558 with a modmic or snowball and you're set. Don't waste your money on a "gaming" headset.
Du6e how comfortable is it?
Du6e That's quite expensive, I'm searching for budget headphones, a good mic, with good audio quality.
Du6e After looking at the prices of these it seems I'm in the wrong place to complain about stuff being pricey...
But you can’t use a snowball on xbox...
But that would be a great idea
Where is Steelseries Arctis 5???
Yaumil Taufik Akbar Arctis 7 is way more worth it.
I love my Logitech G933, something you didn't mention that I really like is it has dual input - wireless from the usb dongle and it has a 3.5mm headphone jack. This might seem kinda redundant and maybe useless if you don't listen to music while gaming, but I play music from my phone through the 3.5mm so I can pause it, lower the volume etc. separate from my pc. Some games *cough Bethesda* crash when you alt-tab out to play with your music player and some don't let you use your keyboard media controls unless you open your media app as admin, so it just makes it more simple to listen to your music off your phone. I imagine this would be good for consoles too, idk if you can play music while gaming on xbox 1 or ps4...
Turtle Beach X12, I have add these headphones for 4 years, Still work.
80% of the comments = Buy high end headphones and a Modmic STFU i recommend the HyperX Cloud 2
pcpartpicker.com/list/4pW8bj
well 80% of the comments are right, you get much better quality and value out of it, so you should be the one to STFU with your overrated virtual 7.1 headset
Sentry :D you know there are people who just want something that they can use for everything and not have to worry about getting this and that so just stfu pls
10 year old :D hilarious
Sentry :D Calling someone a ten year old, because they want to buy good headphones, yeah, real mature.
I like the Turtle Beach headsets
Erwin Vanhouwe which do u use?
I too like over priced pieces of plastic that literally break in a WEEK after purchase...
Tom Canty what headset do you recommend...I don’t know what to get?
Well that is a good question that I'm trying to find the answer to as of late. I used to recommend the Astro a50's, until they broke on me for the second time. The audio on them is amazing and their locational sound is literally EXACT. You may have better luck in terms of longevity if you get the a50's and if so that's probably the best option for gaming that's there. If you wanted something mainly or purely for music, movies or singeplayer games such as skyrim, ark and such I'd get something from Audio-Technica or Sennheiser. But If you are gaming and want to hear precise footsteps/locations or feel like immersion is best when you can hear the things around you accuratly where they are in game, I'd definitly go astro a50's, a40's (bit cheaper and open end (some argue have a bigger sound stage, but for a40's it isn't really true) or if you want an even cheaper but not 'cheap' headset Sennheiser Game one's/zero's (one is open back, the other is closed) are the easy winner for gaming and offer a nice experience for music/movies aswell!
Tom Canty ok and how comfortable are the A50s? Because I game for long periods of time
Razer tiamat 7.1, with 5 speakers in each ear, you truly get multichannel surround. Had them for 3 years now. Played some ESL tournaments with them. I'm also running them through a xonar 7.1 sound card. The only reason I would see changing is getting expensive audiophile grade headphones with external dac and amp.
An honourable mention I would like to give is the Logitech g430 not much customization but it has that surround sound pretty affordable very comfy only gets uncomfy after 7-8 hours of straight gaming all in all I love it
Literally first
Jón Snorri Veigarsson Noooo
Yes D:
awww that emoji at the end was so adorable ^^
So kawai \(^-^)/
Jón Snorri Veigarsson litterally the first guy that made me want to use newgrounds again
Where is the Turtle Beach Elite 800? And with that where was Turtle Beach at all on this list? They are a great brand and they specialize in gaming headsets.
Sol33t303 lmao turtle beaches suck
Sol33t303 they sound like shit
King James yeah thats your own opinion honestly I feel that turtle beach is great and if u look it up they are on a lot of top gaming headset lists by the way saying that they sound bad is completely false this is like a proven fact I have talked on a turtle beach mic before and it sounds amazing it sounds like I'm talking to you face to face it's my actual true voice instead of crap quality that sounds like your talking into a box
I bought the px4 gaming headset from them and it was straight garbage. Sound Constantly cutting in and out with static noise. 8 out of 10 people who bought this headset Experienced the same thing with absolutely no feedback from turtle beach.
I have the tb elite 800... snapped at the ear cup pivot today. Been using them for about 18months. Sound is shit to be honest, just not loud enough and the surround is no better than a pair of cheapo earbuds. not worth the money IMO, but the dock charge is great. No custom sound profile for BF1 (or Battlefront, when I played it)!
Ive been using the Hyper X Cloud mark II, not only is it a great head set with great sound but its really comfortable with a usb sound card adapter which works for PC and Console , and to top the off its only $100
Currently rocking the Sennheiser 598's, an Antilion modmic and a FiiO E10K, fantastic audio quality for gaming, music and other media!
I've been thinking about getting a ModMic for my 650s do you think the sound quality is worth the $40?
ADCBot If you're just using it for gaming and chatting with friends it's perfect but when it comes to anything professionally I'd recommend looking for something better.
I will NEVER NEVER NEVER buy another Logitech gaming headset again... I've had 2 sets of G930s, and 3 sets of G933s... Now you're probably asking "well, idiot, why did you buy so many if you hate them so much" ... well, that's because every single one of them broke in some way or another... I am 100% done with them now, after my G933 (3rd set) conked out on me this evening and refused to re-pair to the original USB Receiver, after an update. Then, when it finally did pair up, I got mic clicks occasionally in TS3. Drove me to the point of almost throwing them across the room. You've been warned. If you want to RMA them every 6 months, by all means, grab some 933s ... but, I won't say I told ya so... Buy at your own risk.
You broke 5 headsets, maybe its you.
There is obviously something very wrong with how your using the set if you broke that many? why do people like yourself keep buying a product it it keeps failing on you? your reason why you keep buying them does not make any sense at all?
If your handling of tech is as bad as your handling of criticism I can see why you want through so many sets.
Alexia dylon well what do you want me to say? "yeah I trashed them hard" ?! .... no! I was gentle with them every fucking day..... it was INTERNAL COMPONENTS that failed on me, thanks to their shitty quality control and construction! so before you go spouting off at me, you need to inquire as to what the full siuation is.........
nikkolaus all this butthurtness probably caused you to mistreat them and break, should look into anger management classes
hyperx 2 cloud > all headsets on this list.
Eddie Bissell O'Sullivan i disagree the 933 is better or even the best xD
Jordan Craig You should be a comedian
I own a pair of the cloud 2 and I regret buying it tbh. next headset I'll get for sure will be from Logitech. cause ergonomically I prefer Logitech the most.
Aor I owned a Logitech g930 and it was the worst thing I have ever purchased.
Aor Why do you regret buying it?
I loved this video. If you guys can do a mouse and keyboard one. I have ben wanting to buy a new headset mouse and keyboard and this is helpful. Plz do a alot more of this.
Hey all, just a PSA I didn't know this before but I bought the Logitech G933 and they do not work wireless with Xbox One. They have to be plugged into the controller directly or you have to have a separate audio output to the usb adapter (however this still with not allow you to use the microphone in game) To my knowledge with the research i've done there is a short list of headsets (mainly Turtle beach and Razer) that are compatible wirelessly with the xbox one. Just thought I'd share. Love the channel, I come to y'all for my info before I buy anything most of the time.
I hate my astro a50s because the volume buttons are shit. One would think that when developing a new model they would improve their convoluted button design. The more I try to get a good balance between chat and game audio the more unbalanced it becomes. Don't buy them!
MrGamer101xx damn I hv astro 40 mix pro amp and I love em, was thinking about a 50 but I'll jus stick to a40 lol
Vince Johnson don't go by his experience... he obviously doesn't know how to work the headset properly... My A50s are straight Fireee... and yeah the a40s were good also but I had to upgrade and trust me it was worth it.. you get better sound quality, better mic + No wires it don't get better then that...
best headset is wireless? ahahahahahahahahahaha
Completely recommend the Astro A40 TR's. Got a set just over a year ago and even though I am a console peasant they work beautifully. Even on my laptop I would never stray away. I have used the new A50's and even though I got my A40's December of 2015 I still think they are better than the new stuff.
I still have my wired A 40's. I still love them. Wireless is not good for your brain although it is a bit tedious. Good sound and a good mic... what more do you want from your headset.
Just get a pair of audiophile headphones and a modmic and you will have _the_ best gaming headset ever.
Oh wait I forgot about console 😂
Savnak what's a modmic?
Alex Lopez microphone you can attach to any pair of headphones you want, even if they don't have a microphone. Look it up, it's actually a really nice and high quality mic.
Amiron Home good enaugh xD
Savnak What if I want 7.1 surround sound?
G633 IS BETTER
Faisal Al-Inaizi G430 is where its at... actually.
Matt James Nope
Faisal Al-Inaizi maybe I like simplicity
g633 + Doom best gaming experience i ever had
Faisal Al-Inaizi i agree
I just got a pair of Astro A50 and I couldn't be happier. The sound is amazing and having the ability to switch between three different sound modes is spectacular. The base is easy to connect to my Xbox one X and docking is simple. I did notice that I had to go to Astros website to update the firmware, i would not hold a charge until I did so. What is also a great feature is, having the ability to set up your own sound modes or you can pick the ones Astro has listed. I made the move from Turtle Beach 420X Stealth's to the Astro A50 and what a difference it was. If you have the money to spend on the A50's are a great choice.
Thx, will do!
I have the Astro A40s and I've had no issues with them. Astro for me is the go to brand because it fits my head. When I used Turtle Beach headsets, I would always have a headache and ear ache for some reason as if they were compressing my ears. With the Astro A40 I can wear them all day and I am considering upgrading to the A50s! Thanks Jake for the awesome video!
PhNx Scar3cRow don't upgrade stay with a40 s lol a 50 do have a shitty mic, I had em and turn them bk in and kept my a40
