The lack of intro jump scared me😂 but I love it
one of the best reviews i watches so far. Its nice to see where the buttons are and what the micro test is! Thank you for sharing!!!
17:55 Love that youre playing BF1 for the demo. 7 years later, and I still go back to that game sometimes. So good
It's honestly one of the best games to test audio with as well. The sound design in that game was legendary.
Nice video! Also what do you think about Razer Barracuda pro’s in 2024? Cause Arctis Nova pro have some problems with in-built mic (it placed inside cups, and it pushes on ears in case of long sessions, so it is uncomfortable)
i bought a arctis 7p and i have to give it back because it make sound lags and when im ingame it freeze for 2s :/
bro thinks im rich
Frr
then get a wired
None under 200 😂
@@troyalaniz2886 technically 2 are under
real (I am broke)
i feel massive discomfort using the arctis, not sure if its the distribution of weight of having a battery on one side, the fact that theres a lot of metal on the unit, or just how tight the band squeezes but after around 2-3 hrs my head would feel so much pain being squeezed for prolonged periods
Any chance you could share your EQ settings for the Arctis Nova Pros? I know nothing about EQ and honestly just want the best settings haha, thanks!
Any comment on the background noise, specifically for the razor?
6:32 material is so good a lil bug crawled up the mic to just feel it out lol
😂😂
LMAO
Cockroach
Lay of the meth
Nice video ❤ can you make a video about the RK royal kludge r65 I saw it on amazon (USA) with a good coupon I wanted to know If it is good or not I hope you do this review.
With those mic tests, could you do a keyboard and mouse click test? it would be nice to see what kind of noise cancelation the headphones have as well as clarity
Thank you beautifully for this comparison. I am thinking about buying SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and I have this question for you: Is it possible to connect these headphones over a 3.5mm jack cable, is there an output on the base station to connect them that way? The second thing is that in the parameters it is stated that the sound quality improves with such a connection . I wanted to know if this is actually the case? I was going to buy a version of these headphones with a wire, but I found that maybe choose the more expensive ones and I will always have a wireless option as well. I would appreciate your help. Super review, Regards. K
I have the nova pros and they do have that 3.5mm connectivity for you!
one detail i washoping you would mention is the headphones work range like how far from the PC can you be and still use them.
❤ thx so much guys for this video, I am looking around for some good headsets 😅 and really good video, and clean 🧼 and focus on the topic 🥳🙌 take care of you guys and regular// J 🇸🇪
I had to return the Hyper X Alphas today. For some reason they constantly crackle and pop. For the price, you don't expect that.
yeah HP bought them out and quality went down.
@@tolikowens *sigh* I hate when companies ruin things.
awesome video straight to the point
Did you use the blue yeti mic on the g pros? Sounds like you didn’t activate that.
where did you get the keyboard you use?
Just to ask I know there are more steelseries like the newest Steelseries arctis nova 7X so my question is, is that a good one as well? And am I right that this is the newest one? Please let me know as I'm looking for a new headset.
I wouldnt worry about steel series headset being bad. I have the arctic 7 pro wireless from 2020 and battery is still the same when I got it. Nothing wrong with it after 4 years of ALLOTTT of playing.
im on my 3rd blackshark v2pro atm..all of them same problem after some months of use ..right speaker not working full volume..i can get both to work only when im setting the volume to like 50% ..previous blackshark same issue after a while..still great headset though.
Same issue with Barracuda X
What about the Logitech G435? Do you think its a good option for a person who only cares about comfort?
I own an Eksa E900 Pro for about 3 years, finally bought G435 for the wireless connectivity and comfort, unboxed it, tested it. Returned it hahahahaha. Not a suitable headphone for people with big heads. And the audio sucks, mic sucks. Always has that buzzing sound when there's too many sounds input and from my experience, while playing Dota, there will be a major buzzing/robotic sound when war. There's workaround I've found on reddit, it just makes the sound worst (filtering low frequency thus less bass), but the buzzing is reduced. So back to Eksa until I find a better wireless headphone.
My Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 Edition headset broke after about 9 months of use. Right ear cup broke off. No rough usage, just normal taking it off and putting it on. I've read it's a pretty common issue.
I guess it is pretty common lol. Just happened to me yesterday. They lasted 5-6 months. Never dropped them or anything just normal putting them on and taking them off…. Randomly my left side ear cup just burst into pieces lol
I cant comment on other headphones but after purchasing the hyper x alpha 3 wireless, my positive is the battery is still at 40% since purchase in mid december without charging, but i need to take out and plug in the usb dongle at every boot so the software recognises it.
buying the razor great way to review the mics with audio and all
It’s a pity that arctis still implements a retractable mic on his high end headset, i have the old version and i used it A LOT: i destroyed cushins and replaced them, batteries died and i replaced them, headband was a bit loose and i could tighten it, but it’s also replaceable, but the mic’s flexible tube started to crack and patching it made non retractable anymore. The shoul’ve really opt for a detachable mic.
Take care of ur stuff angry gamer.
@@velocityscaven7004 LOL, is a crack in a flexible plastic after 6 years of use is not taking care, considering that iphone cacles start to peel if in obe year? Trolls are so fun 🤣
Anyone know what may be the better option either the razer blackshark v2 pro or the hyperx cloud alpha
Nova pros or A50x lightspeed i dont know which ones to buy today
I got the blackshark v2 pro and after a couple months of use the chargers started falling out while the headset's inuse. Really annoying.
What do you think about Corsair HS80 wireless (not the max version)?
I really wish the nova pros had the ability to change the balance between gaming and chat on the headset like the 9x. Kinda surprised I haven’t heard anyone else mention this… Other than that I’m loving my pros. Completely blown away at how much better I’m able to locate footsteps and other sounds on fps games.
got the blackshark for christmas im gonna say its an absolute UTTER downgrade from the earlier iteration of the headset sounds super flat because of the lack of bass but because of that its not immersive and its arguably HARDER to hear where sounds are coming compared to the pre upgrade headset its less comfortable aswell it causes me almost the same headache my oculus vr headset causes me over long wear times which if you own one you know thats HORRENDOUS for a headset theres also A CONSTANT CRACKLING noise whenever sound plays coming from the inside of the headset (this is not a connection issue or bluetooth or whatever its literally the stuff inside of the headset that makes the sound itself i also did not damage it or anything like that it was like that straight out of the box) if youre considering buying anything razer at this point please keep in mind their quality control nowadays its absolutely garbage and headache inducing the only good thing i can say about this headset is that the mic is very clear
Is the razor one compatible with Xbox?
The mic test would work a lot better for me if I heard the man speak through it, since I've heard his voice through the normal mic. I don't have a point of comparison for her, since I don't know what she normally sounds like. I can't tell if she normally sounds kinda stuffy/ muffled, or if the mics are doing it. No insult intended.
I’ve had my A10s for years now and I love them. My buddy decided to buy a pair because he tried mines, but unfortunately the quality of the A10s has gone down significantly
other than steelseries which have ANC, Do other headsets have ANC?
dang bro you should have a million subs fr
Is the logitech g pro worth it? (number 2)
redragon just released a new mouse called the m916 pro (1k hz) and the (4k hz) version can you review them please.
I have these. Amazing headphones, and better than my old Astro a50s overall. But the a50s are more comfortable because these headphones have an anc mic nub sticking out of the inside and after wearing the headset for around 1-2hrs the cushions will compress and your ear will be rubbing against that plastic anc nub in the earcup. To solve this. Grab a pair of wicked cushions frozen and this headset becomes a masterpiece.
Just want to say the a30s have a known issue where if you have it connected to PC via dongle and the via Bluetooth to your phone so you can use the g app, the mic is extremely quiet.
I subscribed solely for the bit you both do with how the mic sounds. “And that is how it sounds”.
Who is the sound quality on the wired versions of nova pro compared to the wireless version? I'm undecided between the two
*how
I heard from Technes channel that the wired version sounde much better.
I once bought a pair of the nova pro, it’s really not all that good and the quality is subpar. Also the ear muffs are very uncomfortable
how about hyperX cloud alpha wireless?
I had Artics Nova Pros. I do not particularly like them. They are not nearly as comfortable as something like Razer Blackshark
I have the SteelSeries, but it beeps when you go a little further out
Logitech is amazing. I would like to see the aluminum earcups and removable battery. The removable battery is a killer.
mic is shit bro
What about beyerdynamic MMX 200 Wireless?
check check check, 1 2 3
Open da noor
The Maxwell is also prone to breaking, on my 3rd one now.
i honestly think the blacksharks is better since the battery and mic
Cause do you really need big bass for gaming?
When u say Xbox variant what exactly do u mean? I have Xbox x
Came here to look for another headset, The razer one is uncomfortable af imo. It is always sliding too far open! The max volume is too quiet to be its max altough it sounds good and mic is alright. Sadly mainly came for nr1, Ive had 2 of those and they broke twice at the same right earcup where they connect to the headband frame.
If you don’t want to spend $350 on the Nova Pro Wireless, I’d recommend the Arctis 7 wireless for $179.99 It’s the headset I’ve used for the past 2-3 years and it’s amazing. I upgraded to the Nova Pro wireless today and compared the sounds, and they are actually pretty comparable
i have them. Impossible to configure
I got the Nova Pro Wireless and It just stopped charging entirely yesterday after only having them a week, I hope it was just a faulty pair bec I'm gonna try them again when they get back in stock at my currys pc world on wednesday..
@@Darizon Dang sorry to hear that. Did it stop charging on the actual headset where you plug it in the outside of the ear cup, or stop charging in the Game DAC? I see there are two ways to charge, one by taking the plate off the outer ear cup and plugging the cord in. The second way is to slide the battery in the slot in the side of the game DAC.
How can you say you like them? The back ground noise is too much.
Steelseries build quality is pretty awful though. I've owned 2 headsets and a mouse of theirs and they all had build quality issues one way or another. I came to this video because my Arctis Pro just literally broke and trying to find a new headset lol.
can you do one video with nc too?
Nice Video, but i came here for more :S Expected some high-end and luxury Headsets to show off... not sure if i want to spend below 400 €, just doesnt feel right.
The Astro is fucking amazing. I think I’ve found my perfect future headset❤
2:34 bro, how should i be able to compare the quality if there is a voice talking i never heared before in the video? i would like to see the quality difference between your camera/studio mic and the headset.
are my ears gonna be pinched on a daily basis in these new arctis headsets though? I remember the previous arctis line having super shallow earcups.
Day 7 of asking for a review of the Redragon K631 in red.
where is the hyperx cloud 3 wireless?
Stay away from the Razer BlackShark V2 Pros. They all break by the cheap plastic holding the bottom of the headband by the earcup. It’s happening very often to many users… mine lasted 5 months
I’m looking out for a good wireless headset and yea mic could be important for me and I’ve seen all the bad comments (on internet) about the pros but none about the hyperspeed, the yokes are thinner but maybe the rest have better build quality ?
Great video too bad steel series so old though
What? What a weird thing to even think about
@@yuh6812how is that weird? The technology is old it’s been the main reason I haven’t bought it they’ll probably be releasing a new version this year or the next.
Good Video !
My [Razer BlackShark V2 PRO (2023 Edition)] just broke after 2 months of use.. Google about it breaking and about the hinge..
One thing,on the final mic test in this video she put a pop filter on the mic that is not with the headset from purchase,so you are not showing the bad noises that most if not all Steel series headsets suffer from with a crap mic.
The cloud alpha is not worth it. Not overly comfortable, and they have a tendency to just stop working. Went through 2 of them, and had an awful experience with HyperX’s customer service as well.
I absolutely loved the razor black shark pro but I kept having dropouts and had to return them maybe I got a bad set.
Same thing with mine
@@alecbryantalledo I returned mine apparently I had a bad set, The new ones work flawlessly. Give them another shot but get the 2023 edition
Is the mic for nova pro wireless not compatible with PS5?
Instead of other scripting video, this is awesome.
just got the A30s for 150€ new thanks Saturn
Dont get me wrong I loved the hyperX Cloud Alphas but after a long time use I've come to say that its my least favorite headset, from the headphone fabric slowing coming off which leaves small black bits around, or or even in the ears. Plugged it in after using it for a family vacation and it was working and stopped working entirely in one ear, over all it sounded nice but would've perfered a better headset
Audeze Maxwell should be #1 - As somebody who owns both, they are just superior in sound.
Turtle Beach Stealth Pro….?!
are the razors made out of metal, I really hate the feel of plastic headsets.
They're plastic
@@williamg7138 I got me the Logitech ones man, they feel premium just not as loud as my Corsair headphones
I don't understand how you can rate the Astro a30's before the Astro a50's.
Astro a50x or steelseries arctis nova pro wireless?
I've used both and much prefer the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless
@@WheelchairOperator Ok But why?
The Arctis Nova Pro's sound much better/more accurate, which is important for someone like myself who plays Tarkov @@Playahata11
Blackshark v2 x or Hyperx cloud 2 which one should i buy???
Razer.. Hyperx now owned by HP and they are cutting coast down.
My new black shark v2 sound flat or muffled. Sounds like I’m in water while playing games
My biggest con for the razer blacksharks is the build quality. I bought them twice and they broke the same way twice
it sucks they dont make the blackshark pro for xbox
audeze maxwell is best wireless headset
MAXWELL is better then all the headsets you mentioned!
i have 2 choices its either pay 200 for a brand new pair of razer blacksharks or i have found a lighlty used pair of arctis nova pro wireless for 190 im so unsure on what to go with
razer has went downhill id suggest looking at the subreddit or even on site forums mines sounds like garbage very flat sound profile and theres also a prominent crackling noise coming from the headset when sound is playing
Nova pro has some portruding anc mic problems check that out before buying
i love how the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless costs 600€ to get it to spain
no it s 300 on amazon
want a screenshot?@@Mimino1234
Does the first one work with Xbox?
Yes, but the software doesn't work on xbox. That's why i'm looking into Turtle Beach Stealth Pro
corsair still has best mic of any headset
Bro where have you been I used to watch your videos so much 😭
He was sick
@@coltoncooks7242 ohh ok Ty
Comparing Rolls Royce to Tesla is crazy. Lol
Penrose, maxwell and turtle beach stealth pro are all better than these by my opinion.
you didn't even change the video thumbnail?!
6:33 am I the only one who saw the insect on the mic?
G Pro X and Nova Pro mics are both terrible
What would you prefer? I'm looking for a premium wireless headset with a great mic.
@@Luiseo1 Razer has a headset with a great mic. I'm personally using a Blue Yeti and an Audeze Maxwell.
@@philipmrch8326 I have a yeti as well, maybe I’ll do the same! Though that headset is pricey!

I dont even watch razer reviews at all. Ive been using razer my whole life and I stopped due to poor service and eventual failure of products
I hate the arctic nova pros mic sucks
bro is Mabe of money
razer isnt built to last
Any good ones for Xbox/playstation/pc ?
