So, they probably have poopuri or another product and along with that there's probably an internal venting system that would flush air up. But, beyond even that... poo tends to smell based on what foods and what diet you eat. There's a pretty high chance it... just doesn't stink in a way that couldnt' be handled by a single lit candle.

I had a challenge for myself in the Sims 4 recently in which I built a mansion based on a real Renaissance home located in France. I took pictures from every angle and did my best to reproduce it in the game. While it didn't turn out bad, per se, it was still the most annoying home my sims ever lived in. I hated living there. It took almost an entire Sim hour to cross the house, so I had to pay close attention to the notifications saying my sims had to work in an hour, since they had to start walking right that moment to make it to work on time. The whole time, I was thinking, "Why? Why do we need three dining rooms? Why are there five sitting rooms? When was the last time that room was even used??" To be honest, this project made me really appreciate smaller houses. There was one room that I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the purpose was. As I was building it, the thought hit me: this is an "I am ridiculously rich" room. It was an eclectic collection of cultural objects (all made from the finest silks, china, ect.) just placed on display, and very few of them matched. Keeping in mind this was a mansion from the 1500's, all of those objects had to be brought from China or India and would have cost an absolute fortune. This room was literally a bunch of absurdly expensive items all thrown together, with no appreciation for their value beyond it costing a lot of money. I'm sure it was impressive at the time, but now it just came across as the tackiest room I've ever seen! To honour this, I bought every ridiculously expensive decoration and piece of furniture I could fit and just stuffed it all into that room. I was truly horrifying, but it reflected the spirit of the room!

@@why_oh_elle If it's properly ensured they'd be making money if it was destroyed by a hurricane.
So, they probably aren't living in that particular house during hurricane season but if you were, you'd fly out to a luxury hotel, yes. Your house is also insured and hurricanes count as acts of god so you're not really all that stressed. In all likelihood, you have seasonal houses that you stay at and so you'd fly to another one during dangerous weather. That's why there's also copious looting of these areas during HUGE storms because everyone left -- why would they stay?

What I hate the most about these houses is that the people who move into them also buy the furniture along with it, just because they either have multiple homes and don't want to furnish another one and/or it would be more expensive to buy whole new furnishing or move your things. So all the things you see in the picture, they're really using them. The art, chairs, rugs, hideous paintings. They're all there to stay.

in my little coastal hometown all the fancy milliondollarhouses people moved in to build are RIGHT on the edge of the bluffs overlooking the ocean... the bluffs that have always and will forever continue to crumble away, and not over a very long period of time. 50 years from now these houses will all be falling into the ocean and honestly i'm good with it
the screened in patios are so nostalgic to me bc my grandparents would rent a house in florida every year and i would go and stay for like a week and the houses always had those screens

You can make as many of these types of videos as you choose. They're super entertaining and fun to check out the houses. When I was a teen, I'd get an expensive house magazine and proceed to find the ads, contact the realtors as though I was capable of purchasing the home and they'd send me elaborate folders filled with floor plans and pictures of the homes. This was the 80s.

i do know that a lot of houses with the glass doors in between the room and bathroom tend to have “water closets” which means the toilet is in a separate area so you wouldn’t be able to see this. we have a family business of property management so we manage these types of houses so it’s pretty cool to see what types of things people do with all if their money building their second homes and whatnot.
i love everything about the first house, and I think those bathrooms have that special glass that turns opaque when you close the door? if that's not the case, the only thing I don't like is the washrooms. The rest of it is totally my style.

hey simsie! some info from a life long south floridian that lives across from the intercoastal: you can’t technically buy the beach no, but when you buy a property with beach access it is in an area of private beach. so technically if you got onto the beach on a public park and then walked down in the waves you’d be fine, but once you get past high tide line you are technically trespassing

i think that when the houses are just white and have very little details on the enterior, it makes it feel less homey and like a hotel. But with the house at 10:57, there were a lot of browns and I think that makes it feel more comfortable and warm
