You asked, I listened....here is the full fight without music....
Recorded 3 June 2023 Filmed from a boat...
We were watching a tranquil scene of 2 bears shagging on the beach…we thought how lovely…something you don’t see very often. Then we noticed another bear making its way towards them…he was on a mission…and he went in for the attack while our 2 lovers were still joined. She made a hasty departure. The guide we were with said the aggressor had killed and eaten a cub the day before…he seemed to have the blood lust…it was the longest 20 minutes of my life…I felt sick watching it but I knew this was a once in a lifetime encounter. At the 12.45 mark you will see a lone bear in the water…she was hanging around watching the whole thing (not the original female…she was long gone) hoping for some male attention. (We were told she is too young to mate and the males are ignoring her.) We thought it was all over at this stage….both bears had gone their separate ways but they met up again in the bushes…that is when Round 2 started…they went at it for about another 5 minutes…they were so exhausted…they both walked off in the end.

It's not like they had in mind lets film all the perfect angles so that my KZhead audience will be happy. Also I think top priority for them was safety as they repositioned their boat several times to maintain a safe distance.

    • Well, the female from the beginning was probably impregnated already, since June is when they mate. I’d be curious what bears do for healing when such big hunks of flesh are ripped apart. Do they just get infected and die, or is there something they instinctively know how to do to prevent infection? We used to live in Alaska, and they sure impressed me.

      @4WingedAngels@4WingedAngels5 ай бұрын
    • Interestingly, I just looked it up, and the black bears will heal during hibernation. But, that isn’t for many months yet, so I wonder if this bear survived afterwards. “Bears are known to have elevated levels of hibernation induction trigger (delta-opioid receptor agonist) and ursodeoxycholic acid (major bile acid within plasma, mostly conjugated with taurine) during hibernation, which may relate to these wound-healing abilities.”

God raised from the dead Christ who will judge every man, and you are among them. Thank goodness, Today you really have the opportunity to be totally forgiven and saved, sealed with the Holy Spirit if you have faith in Christ and repent from your sins by confessing them withoutapologies to God in the name of Jesus. To be a Christian means to follow Christ and be reconciled to the living and true God! This is the GREATEST privilege there is. And today I beg you, open your heart to Christ and have faith in Him alone! Salvation is a gift, it cannot be acquired by works or anything else, only by faith in Jesus. Eternity comes soon, and many, unfortunately, by rejecting Jesus, will not be saved, and will go to eternal torment. I beg you, be humble and repent today, seek God with all your heart! Jn 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, he will live; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

    • I have seen a video of a lion fighting a male cape buffalo for hours. Stamina is not a problem for Lions. A male Lion would take either one of these bears out. Lions know how to kill large animals. Bears are not nearly as large or dangerous as a Cape Buffalo.

    • @kevinthomes1046 a clawed slap from a Grizzles large mits will change the lions mind and zip code. He'd likely call in reinforcements from his pals - hyenas, who would quickly realize lions are never to be trusted.

      @tascrphs@tascrphs5 ай бұрын
    • You make a crucial point. Stamina is the deciding factor. There’s old black and white footage of a tiger fighting a lion. The tiger is visibly more powerful but spends too much energy over too short a period of time leaving it fatigued after a matter of minutes. The lion then basically just walks away. I think either a lion or tiger certainly has the physical strength and bite force to kill a grizzly, they would have to get it done quick though. The gorilla is an interesting one since it is smaller than a grizzly but has enough physical strength to manipulate the grizzly’s mass, AND it has the highest bite force of the three. In the end stamina might be the deciding factor again. That and the grizzly’s loose skin which makes it hard to pin it down.

The distance between us was quite critical as the animals stopped and waited to see what was going to happen. We backed out with great respect and calmly. They then continued further into the dense forest. There was no time for heroism or photography then.

    • Whoa really? I bet there was in fact no time for heroism or photography. Good thing you all didn't have a dog. After Jaws, no more ocean! And after watching countless "Scary Bear Attacks", I won't anytime soon be going camping either. Thanks for sharing.

    • Woah. I was there a few months ago doing a solo hike. I shat myself from just hearing a bear roar in the distance. Can't imagine how it was for you

  • Wow that was insane! Possibly the best bear fight footage ever recorded in history. I’ve seen a lot of grizzly bear fights in the wild. This is one of the best ever filmed. Top 3. In long fights sometimes one bear won’t survive. The river looks familiar to me. I think it’s in BC. I’ve seen the flesh scarred bear. He’s an older male. The torn flesh was done in a previous fight. For those who will ask, the wounded bear will lick his wounds and rest in salt water. The massive wound will heal in time. Most bears die from human contact shot or hit by vehicles. Bear causes of death are attributed to non-human related traumatic lesions and infectious diseases (primary developed such as infectious canine hepatitis or secondary developed such as clostridiosis or septicemia) 🇨🇦

  • THIS is why is it essentially impossible to fight off a bear. The sheer strength and stamina of these animals is terrifying.

    • Well, if you consider cognitive function an asset, our ability to invent guns and use them should count. Not a bear alive that can handle a well-armed man with a powerful weapon.
