Matt is out on a goose hunt in a cornfield with his buddy Alex and a couple others. They set a big spread of full bodies and sleepers. It isn't long before the geese start flying and after a tweak to the spread, decoying right in. The group is covered up with hundreds of geese and limit out in short order. It was an amazing day of goose hunting!

Thanks for sharing. Just a few days ago on about February 25th 2024 or there about Here in Hanford Ca, I witnessed perhaps 500 or so Canadian geese flying north. I kept hearing what I though was doves in the distance cooing after about twenty minutes of this off and on again noise I looked up in the sky . There were about 30 to 50 birds in a group flying high in the sky. as they passed I got my binoculars out and mounted them and begin watching the soulish feast. I must of saw 7 or eight groups of them . Prior to getting out my field glasses there must of been a least a half dozen or so that had passed over head.. Just thought I would share the beautiful event. I have only once had the opportunity to shoot toward about 5 of them. I am witness to that they fly to fast for the ordinary hunter. You must know what you are doing if you do not get to call them in. Maybe in the next world.

You ever think they don't like the sound of calls in the pit? To my human ear it sounds way off just from the echo. Or does it really matter from where they're hearing it?

In your duck videos what attackments do you use for your go pro to get the on the water shots. The shots in the decoys is specifically what I'm wondering. Going to get a go pro for next season and those are some of the shots I'd like to get so just wondering what you use. Thanks!

Damn, those BBs will absolutely crush the hell out of a bird. You either miss em or flip em end over end at that size.

- @@HighPrairieSportsmen my only go-to choices in steel shot are 2s and BBs. I'll adjust the payload according to bird size, but the shot is always one of those 2

Looks like while they wanted in pretty bad but the camera behind the pit seems to show there was something they just didn't like. I mean they wouldn't commit...or am I talking out of turn?

- We landed a fair amount, some out of frame. But yeah, we couldn't get the full group to touch down for whatever reason. Lessers are pretty finicky.
