Matt is out for an afternoon hunt with his buddy, Chase. The pair knock out an ice hole and it isn't long before mallards and other ducks start dropping in. The highlight of the day however was both guys getting beautiful drake pintails. Another amazing day of duck hunting!

  • I watched this hunt earlier on Chase's channel, but it was so good it was definitely worth a watch on your channel. My season ended a little over a week ago, and I'm feeling the post season depression haha

  • studs all the way, double headshot, and a full drake pintail limit. dang here I am shooting 1 mallard 1 mottled and one blue wing chasing them in the swamp magroves for the whole season lol

  • Great video! Congrats on the beautiful pintails. I've never taken one with a good sprig here in SD, they always seem to be gone before they grow very long. Loved hearing the other pintails whistle in the flocks after you guys got those two.

  • really 5 deeks wouldve been good with one spinny. just not enough wind for deeks to be moving.... they wouldve come straight in. thats why they flared. less is more especially late season. great vid and congrats on the pins

  • So sad to see the pintail in such low population numbers. In my early years of hunting on the Texas coast, the limit was ten pintails!
