    • I see the hardest part is trying to get Guy's mind to slow down. When your tail depends on split second decisions for so many years its hard to unwire it. Blessed be the boys that took on the task and competent they are!! Love their Austins

  • Hard to kill the old two strokes. Really glad she fired up and what gorgeous little Austins. I have a 122s Volvo, no powerhouse but fun all the less. You are well on your way to slomo racing!! Turning a friend on to Guy's channel who is working on his own Trabant here in So California for just a fun survivor car

  • Love our Guy. Does everything with a hearty smile. Gives everything a go. Wins it by a mile. No matter how fast or slow. He finds diamonds. In everything he gives a go. Afraid of nothing. Strives to stay alive. While most can't. He abides. A modern day legend. But quite shy. Here's to you mate. Our Guy.

  • Guy Martin, born to drive fast. I think James didn't expect or underestimate Guy skills. I think in this car you don't need brakes😁😁 you need only play with acceleration and Guy know that.

    • That would be one rap on the knuckles from me then a crack in the chops if he did it again. Full stop if he can’t leave it after that. If you put a man behind the wheel of your car to show him stuff you have to trust him with it. If you are going to be grabbing things while he going it’s your own mistake. I get it but I didn’t respect this kid. My mom never once grabbed the wheel when I was first learning. She left plenty of fingernail marks in the door panel hanging on for dear life but never touched the wheel. Give that a thought.

  • One of these ‘Trebant’ cars nearly killed my Mom, who rolled it while driving downhill at freeway speed and swerving to avoid a deer. These things had a brake/free-wheeling clutch anomaly that made it capable of suddenly loosing traction and rolling at speed.

    @bartofilms@bartofilms11 ай бұрын
    • It has a freewheel on 4th gear, as do almost all 2 stroke cars, including Saabs, though they have it on all gears. What it does is makes you incapable of engine braking, it does not make you lose traction.
