That’s what we call true bikers, yeah the loss of a bike is heart wrenching, but loosing someone you ride with, or care for, or he’ll just someone that you know rides, that’s a new kind of pain.

We are obsessed with our vehicles, but without friends to show them off to…what’s the point in them? Especially in the motorcycle community, we know that any kind of wreck can be fatal, and that’s the most worrisome part. The bike can be replaced, a good friend can’t.

That is how people should always feel. My Dad was a highway patrolman and sea people go so horribly batshit over accidents. They act like they care about the car more than the person. It was one of the best memories of my life when I was 19, tired after a shift, at work and totaled my mom’s car. He came, checked on me, told me that it was okay, explained that mom was still asleep because the car would still be wrecked in the morning, and just asked me to consider if I had learned any lessons about safer driving as we drove home. He even made jokes and gave me advice for how to clean myself up from the cuts, scrapes, bruises and soreness. I woke up the next morning and my mom asked me if I wanted any of the breakfast she was making. She was perfectly happy and so I thought my dad hadn’t told her yet. I went to tell her and she said it was all okay because accidents happen. The only thing she asked of me was what my dad had already asked-which was what I had learned. Then she hugged and comforted me. One of my best memories because it makes me so grateful. It reminds me of how blesssed I am. And it teaches me about who I want to be.
That is true biker community every if you on your friends bike. That is how we live. Bike is nothing, your life is everything. Bikes can be replaced.

A true riding buddy He's the type that doesn't care what type of 2 wheels you ride
A mate asked me to go riding with him and I rode his Kawasaki 250. The next day after having a great day out my inbox blows up with abusive messages because a brake line was weeping!! I call him up and he just takes it to the next level of abuse. I think it was a $23 service/adjustment and I covered it. He still even after covering the cost of something so minor just kept flipping his shit over it. Friendship ended something so trivial Imagine if I had of totaled his bike lmao

I hit a car a few months back, I had just had the brakes done and they felt like they had allot of air in them when I tried to brake. Still it was my fault. I was going about 40 slowing down bc of traffic. The sun was hitting me right in my eyes and even though I had sunglasses on, for a split second I did not see the car directly in front of me. As soon as I saw the car, I immediately applied the brakes and the pedal almost immediately went to the floor it was very scary. When I hit him my car pushed him into the car in front of him, I immediately pulled over in the grass got out and checked on both drivers. My only concern was the people I had hit. The driver in the very front I had found out was taking his wife to the hospital for major heart surgery. He had to leave the incident bc of the surgery. I explained this to the cop and gave him the guys info. I was honest and upfront with my work and they told me that they were just glad everyone was okay.
