@@cleverclovercreates3249Well, me personally I've known my best friend for about 6 years and we can bully each other, insult each other, literally do whatever and nobody takes offense. Though if it's just starting off I wouldn't go that far yet. However you can do simple things like being there with them through everything, trying to cheer them up when they're sad OR happy, they don't need to be sad for you to cheer them up 😊 remember, honesty is key. My best friend has came to me on a few occasions and said he wants to improve himself...first, I said he didn't need improving and that he is perfect as he is...but then, I thought about it...he told me that if he was perfect the way he is, he wouldn't be able to find problems with himself, he wouldn't have any flaws about himself because he would be perfect, of course no one is perfect but you know what I mean...in stead now when he comes to me and asks me about improving himself, I encourage him, and I'm honest and say that he should work on improving himself. I know deep down I feel he doesn't NEED improving, but it's better to be honest and just respect their decisions in everything. Fake friends will lie to you and say you're perfect, while real friends will be honest and say you could use improving. There's nothing wrong with improvement and I think everyone should encourage it. My best advice is to just accept them for who they are and what they wanna do in life. But remember, you're not always the problem...it might be them not knowing how to be a good friend, but I wish the best for you two and hope it lasts awhile. 6 short years and it feels like I met him yesterday. Cherish your time with your friends and family, because you never know when they'll be gone. Life is short, enjoy it. God bless ❤🙏

One would hope that the person who claims to love you, likes you as well. It tends to make things easier all round. It's absolutely possible to like someone AND love them at the same time. Slight change of topic: it's also possible to love someone and NOT like them at the same time. I know people who find one or more members of their family, for eg., difficult to get along with - differing values, political, religious opinions etc. However, they still love them based on the fact that they are family; that they grew up together & loved each other when life was simpler & hadn't yet molded & changed one another. The love remains unchanged even though it's a challenge to like the changes in each other.

Throughout my life I had friends who I was friends with for a while, but then something would happen and we would drift apart or just stop being friends, but when i was 15 I had met two people in my life, i thought it would be the same situation but i kept the friendship going, until one day i told them that my mom abused me (literally, like my mom would bang my head against a wall, kick me, throw things at me etc) when i told them that, they didn't say anything and then we later continued with class, but when we had break, they brought up what i had told them, and just asked "are you okay?", they were genuinely concerned for me, i told them that it was fine, but they did not let it go, I kept laughing it of but they still were serious and in that moment i really reliased how much they cared about me, and to this day we are still strong friends, you will always encounter people that are nit meant for you, but i one point you will meet someone, thank you for reading this ❤️
