  • When my kids were young I blew out 2 discs in my lower back! I had surgery and it really didn't help much! Then a evangelist came to our church and asked if anybody needed prayer for healing! So i went up and was healed! I went back to working heavy construction this was 36 years ago and it still is good!!! ❤ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean on not on your own understanding!

  • Great video Billy, I went through the same steps with my 10 year old son the last couple months. I am glad you got to spend these experiences with your daughters at this time of their lives. The Lord works in mysterious ways, he was telling you it was time to stay home for a while.

  • The girls have grown up. This squirrel hunting took me back to the girls age when my Dad, brother and I went hunting. Now there’s a four lane highway threw the woods where we hunted. As I drive, that super highway, I always tell my friends, “Hey, this is where I hunted squirrels”. Most of these friends are from the city and they just laugh but have no idea what an experience I had. Now because of my age and joints that are bad….. I can’t even shoot a 22 rife but I do have my memories. I’m hoping that you, Charlie and Frankie video their hunting experiences. I know it will be entertaining

  • I’m behind on videos (hunting season) but I think this may be one of the best. Hate you had to take a season off but it looks like y’all made the best of it! You can’t have that time back, those girls will always remember the time you spent with them like that!

  • Outstanding video on how to teach young hunters how to enjoy the sport without forcing them to do something before they are mentally and emotionally ready. Thanks for being an outstanding role model for not only your daughters but all of us who love hunting. May God bless you and your family.

  • God’s ways aren’t our ways. Forced to retire in 2013 due to Congenital Stenosis, which causes at the moment, pain in my back and numbness in my low back and hands when inflammation increases. Not debilitating at this time, but retiring kept it from increasing beyond what I can endure. Wonderful how God has blessed me with the added time I now have, further growth in my knowledge and faith, helping others in my family and friends, and even though I took a $35g a yr cut, He has provided. GGTG. God Bless you and your family Billy, keep sharing His Gospel, 🙏🏼

  • I loved watching this video. Nice to see you enjoying quality time together with your kids. We don’t always know God’s plan but if we let him lead us he will put us where we need to be. He put you with your family for a reason we may never know but rest assured there’s a reason.

  • What a great video! I have two girls, and pretty much did the same progression of hunting with them, and now they shoot their own deer and ELK! Would be great to see you take them to Alaska for a Caribou hunt, and then maybe sheep. They would have a world class guide!

  • I really like this video. I discovered this channel just over a year ago and I love the content. He's a good man! At this point in my life in my early 40s I think im searching for a lot of what he has experienced during his years. On antother note, I think I saw someone mention he lives in Wisconsin now? Lots of Native history there. I have followed a lady that passed a few years ago named Linda Godfrey. She researched cryptids or the thousands of stories from Wisconsin about Dogman. They should put Billy on the hunt for the Beast on Bray Rd. Very famous story from Wisconsin.

  • Glad you had time to enjoy your Girls and live a little. Squirrel hunting was one of my favorite ways to hunt but I really didn't like to eat it (because it's a rodent), so I quit. I wish I would have picked up bird hunting but didn't have the time after divorce, raising my Boys was most important but wish I had made time to get away. I haven't hunted for years and would like to if I get the chance but most of the Animals I want to hunt aren't as high in numbers anymore, so I hope the conservationist do some thing to help them so we can hunt for generations to come. Maybe finding a way to make sure "urban tags" are used in urban areas would help. I thought only Kent/Ravenna, Ohio had Black Squirrels. Speaking of urban animals, you should see the hand fed Deer around the greater Cleveland area! A 14 point 200-300lb Whitetail! No joking either! They're all over the city. Black Bear are coming back here so some of the efforts to protect our game are working.
