Alaska is an unforgiving land where the line between life and death is often invisible, but for the adventurous hunter, the experience of a lifetime awaits you. Join veteran Alaskan guide Billy Molls on a 65-day quest as he and his clients pursue Dall sheep, caribou, and grizzly bear in the high country of the arctic, moose in the vast remote tundra of central Alaska, and giant brown bear on the Alaska peninsula. For more than four hours you will experience the dangers and excitement of hunting in Alaska like you have never seen before.

  • I have watched all your videos. I share the same passion for my clients. I grew up commercial fishing. Then in 1994 I began running offshore fishing charters. I formed the same spiritual bonds with a power beyond my own comprehension. The client always leaves a part of themselves with us, well the special ones anyway. Your hunts with Bob I believe it was - those moments in time stay with you forever. I can’t believe how similar the two of us are in such different worlds. God bless your family

Flys circles overhead letting you know you have company coming. You hide and wait. Pilot lands as close as he can grabs his rifle and heads my way. Griz got to me 30 minutes before. I drop giz with bow biggest ever for me. 😊 pilot saved me. Now 77 yrs. Held to together with titanium. From crash. Life is Great!!😅

I remember we once bumped a swedish brownbear in something rememberig of those alderbush you’ve got where you are guiding. It gets a little svettie when realizing it is sitting on a moosecarcas. Soecially when only packing a shotgun with birdamunition. Really like the seriousnes in the material and film you share, and it really turns you in to a PH

    • I like Barnes TSX for bears and moose. Nosler partition for smaller, thinner-skinned game. .300 is okay for everything except brown bear, where .338 is minimum.

      @moderndaymountainman8130@moderndaymountainman813011 ай бұрын
    • @@moderndaymountainman8130 I’ve covered the ballistics of .338 to the .300. Yes it’s a tad more powerful but the .300 Win Mag with 180 or 200 Barnes TSX is a monster of a round. Obviously the cartridge has a lot to do with it. And you always preach shots of 200 yards and in. I just can’t fathom a brownie knowing the difference between the .338 or the .300 mag. Obviously you are the professional. I just kind of liken it to the comparison of a 30’06 to the .270. Obviously the 30’06 has a ever so slightly bigger bullet. But the .270 slams in at over 130 to 150 fps faster. With nearly the same bullet. I would feel confident in my .300 Win Mag with 180 Barnes TSX to get the job done on a big brownie at 200 yards and in. Also, I’m not completely ignorant when it comes to this subject. My uncle has lived in Alaska for 40 years. And I’ve been several times. I love your videos and wish u nothing but the best.

      @Justin-pq3rq@Justin-pq3rq10 ай бұрын
    • I have the 338, but would have to work up a Barnes TTSX load. I use 225 Nosler Partition at 2900 fps.

    • In different areas on different lands we are required to follow different protocols. If I had my choice, I would never use a bear fence mainly because of the hassle of it and the fact that the experience feels more sterile when you have a fence around you. I like the freedom, the wildness.
