You can see both get killed in The Mechanic which one of them directed the action scenes on, Chad is the one who gets shot through the mirror, and David is the one who faked his death and has a briefcase handle that's a weapon.

Episode 14 has my favorite fight (vs the horned Infernal) so far even better than the End of Episode 19 of Demon Slayer this year. Sorry if I triggered some people but that was a real ass-pull right there. The end and the song were incredible but the fight itself was not really top. The battle of Zenitsu vs that human-headed spider demon was better in my honest opinion. Another show with amazing fights especially choreography-wise is Revue Starlight. And if I have to choose something bad it would be Hand Shakers.

It was just like they tasked themselves with upping the ante from the Church scene of from the first movie and doing it everywhere for the second. So much of the action just doesn't let it breath. It camera spins, with crazy whips and zooms and close ups, mostly without cutting (or hidden cuts). I found it difficult to really sit through tbh.

  • The part with the Bourne fight and the bit where they were talking about framing it better so that you can actually follow what's going on in the shot reminded me of Bumblebee vs Michael Bay's older Transformers movies. Look at basically any fight in Bay's movies, you really have to focus to see what's actually happening in the fights, but even just the fight on the mountain in the beginning of Bumblebee, it's a 1v1, well lit, focused on the characters, and just... so much better. That's what that little segment made me think of.
