In case you guys didn't know, the sidewinder (dodge heavy) can be canceled much earlier than shown in the clips. As a matter of fact, you can cancel the sidewinder into a cobra strike (fast light w/ bleed that can come from any direction), viper's retreat (light attack w/ bleed that can only match the direction of the previous vortex attack)another sidewinder, or just a dodge. Not to mention that cobra strike can be followed by another cobra strike, a sidewinder, or a dodge. So, essentially, it is another vortex combo she has that I NEVER see other Nobushis utilize and it is DEVASTATING if you mix it up. Another thing is that when you parry you need to dodge before hitting with a light attack to actually apply bleed; or you can punish a parry with a sidewinder or just an immediate heavy attack. Just some things I noticed while watching the video. Great content, though. Keep it up c:
thx, nice vid
thank you :D nobushi is the only character i play, and i really want to get better with her...i will try these next time i play :D
bros been waiting forever for this
Way better than those whiny rody bross
What is the point of mixing up your attack after a guardbreak with a light or top heavy when the top heavy is guaranteed and more damage? The light after guardbreak in the combo shown in 2:10 and at 3:22 is not a bleed, it's just a regular damage tick that you can tell since your blade didn't glow purple. If you really want the bleed, you follow up the gb with a throw and light to do the cobra strike mixup. Also, a better wall combo would be gb->top heavy->kick->top heavy.
Am I first?
Indeed my friend!
OfficialBrosCode thx great vid even though I am not a nobushi main it helped me on how to play her
