  • For one, not only is the music and soundtrack gorgeous, but it fits in sooo well within the game's setting and atmosphere that I still to this day get goosebumps listening to it. Two, there's such an Ora of homeliness and history, (and yes I know all the games are historical) but this one just feels so real and like what the renaissance would actually be like that this game will always hold a deep place in my heart.

  • I think the most overlooked AC game is Brotherhood. That game was phenomenal. It took all of the best pieces of AC 2, added horseback riding, added a ton of more content, and added an intricate system where you could train your own assassins, AND YOU COULD EVEN HAVE THEM ASSASSINATE WHOEVER YOU WANTED. On top of that, it introduced one of the most unique multiplayer modes ever seen. Brotherhood was one of the most enjoyable and complete games I've ever played.

I can definitely relate and call it best game in the franchise, but for me brotherhood was by far the one I put more time into playing and have more memories of having endless fun in rome! Honestly I would love to see such a video for brotherhood but no one is up for it😓

    • With a boring story and protagonist who tries so hard to be ezio like but ends up being an emo assassin. He has some moments for sure but much of the games story and characters are so forgetable and the narrative feels really rushed just throwing plot points left and right.Gameplay wise is fine but the open world is tarnished by the modern ubisoft world design filled with so many pointless side stuff and collectibles rather than interesting quests which can immerse you into an actually fascinating historical period an no beautiful textures and lighting for the time, even though they still hold up somewhat decently, does not equate to a detailed open world P.S No hard feelings just my opinion😀

It's wonky and all over the place while I also dislike most characters as they don't really seem to grow. I do on the other hand really enjoy the main character because he reminds me of ezio a little.

    • @@izaakgonzalez7247 I am glad you asked. Be prepared, its gona be a longer comment: I just liked the gameplay. The combat system was finally challenging again, like in the first part. I found AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations as well as the 3rd and 4th and Rogue way too easy. Button smashing was all it took to destroy entire armies. In Unity, you were really encouraged to sneak around and stay out of sight, as 4-5 enemies was a real problem. I also liked the high number of different weapons and finishers you had. I also liked that you enjoyed quite a bit of freedom in how you eliminated the targets. There were several ways to gain access to the target's location. The good thing was that you could only use these possibilities, but never had to. You always had a free choice. Even when it came to gathering information. You could sneak up on witnesses undetected, but unlike in AC4, the mission wasn't over when you were discovered. Instead, the mission then became a race. If you lost sight of the person, the mission was still not over, but you could use the eagle vision to track them down. I thought that was awesome, because I hated how previous titles forced you to play a certain way. I also liked that quite a few buildings were accessible. I found the climbing to be very enjoyable and cool to watch. I would also like to highlight the detective side missions. These murder-mysteries. And I really liked the armor customization, which brought various comprehensible bonuses. For example, a certain belt had more capacity for smoke bombs, a pair of shoes made sneaking more effective, a cape made it harder for guards to be spotted. Feel free to ask me more specifics if you think of anything, but that's about it.

  • I wish someone would make a video about AC Rogue. People overlooked that game for all the wrong reasons. It had a short but compelling story. And Shay was unique in a lot of ways. More importantly it showed how the Assassin's weren't always "good" and the Templars weren't always "evil". I think it deserves a sequel. But that is not going to happen since people are too quick to judge it negatively for reasons such as you now being a Templar and killing Assassin's, and how it has the same naval combat and mechanics ac AC4. I think that if they used the good aspects of Rogue, then we would maybe get a new masterpiece, MAYBE. But those are just my thoughts.

If people listen to the soundtracks in Assassin's Creed game franchise, they'll feel the emotions the game delivers. Not to mention how AC 1& 2 recreated the ancient architectures so well with such strong atmosphere.

  • I was never overly annoyed about how overpowered Ezio was in Brotherhood and Revelations because I had played through AC2, and experienced many occasions when Ezio was not overpowered and really saw a growth in his skills and the kind of person he is and what he's capable of overall. So when I got up on those walls to defend Monteriggioni and was just tearing through soldiers, I didn't feel unnecessarily overpowered, I felt like I'd earned it. My favourite character of Assassins Creed is Ezio, and he's my favourite of almost any story I've ever experienced, including books, films and other games. Now that I think of it, he might actually be my favourite character of any story I've ever experienced, and my favourite scene in Assassins Creed is in Revelations when Ezio speaks to Desmond face to face, that was brilliant, and the first four Assassins Creed games were all mostly free of the greed and laziness of Ubisoft and developers drunk on sales numbers, so they weren't hindered by that. I can play through Ezio's trilogy and always love it. It will always have a special place in my heart. Rest in peace Ezio my old friend, I will remember you fondly and visit you whenever I feel like playing the peak of Assassins Creed's storytelling.

A carefully crafted narrative and smaller set of well designed characters and environments is better imo. There may be a difference between the cities but in the cities, it al felt the same and I found it really boring. Ac black flag had three completely different cities and in the cities they didn't feel the same and repetitively as Firenze. I also found the side missions really boring in ac 2 and the story was very slow. And it just: 'do some missions until you find a Templar, kill him, next sequence'. Same as syndicate but that wasn't the greatest story either, but they had other interesting things. All by all: I found ac 2 not that great because the story was slow and I didn't found the location very interesting
