There’s not a single code of points that Evgenia couldn’t have dominated whereas Yana wouldn’t have been competitive in any code other than the one she competed in due to her lackluster body difficulty.

Her 2015 hoop and 2016 ribbon are so underrated! You should have used the execution from the olympics for the ribbon, it was so much more beautiful and powerful, the execution here makes the routine look quite bland.

Her artistic interpretation of the music in her routines is phenomenal (the brains behind her choreography should be applauded too). That hoop routine at Rio is my favourite, but all her routines were stunning. She exudes elegance and grace everytime she steps on the mat to perform. Sadly she retired whilst still in her prime. Yana turned this sport into an artwork.
