As a cinematographer learning the ropes, I'm very interested in lighting, and this channel has helped me a whole lot!! Thank you Brady!!!
Thank you sooo much!!
Me to bro this channel has what other channels simply do not offer starting off with hardly any gear is so daunting and he shows how to make a lot with a little
You mean as a "filmmaker" right? Like no hate, but cinematographer is a DOP
Learning Cinematographer?😂😂 that’s like saying as a learning swat officer, cinematographer is a big title, you’re a film maker
Being a noob aspiring film maker with literally 0 budget, this gives me hope. Truly creativity is the key! Thanksss!
I'm really glad it helps! cheers and best of luck film friend!
Forget the lighting tips, I just thought it was really sweet that Sarah brought you food... and even glammed it up with fancy ketchup and mustard swirls! Mate, she’s a keeper (that was genuinely the part of the video that left the biggest emotional impact on me).
this is so darn sweet thank you!!
Great man been an actor for years and always had the eye for directions so I’m learning lighting etc at the mo and you’d channel is very inspiring. I love photography and playing with flash light but constant light is what I want to master. I’m following you now, so Looking forward to seeing your other stuff
This really beat down cost for low budget filmmakers... thank so much Brady for this creative journey with you❤
I'm an editor and a cam op but watching your videos has really sparked a passion for lighting in me recently. Thank you.
Fantastic Class as usual. My favourite has always been the Rembrandt lighting yes. But I was pretty impressed at the hard backlighting and the top lighting. Thank you once again. I hope you hit 50K before the EOY!
Thank you so much !!!
That hard backlight shot tho😍 would love to see more music video oriented setups if you can! Great stuff man🤙🏼

@@SaraAnn Looking forward to it! Can you guys film one of mine?! 🤣🙏🏼
@@FinnHPMusic That would be a blast!
This is a super good tutorial. I would like to add there is a key thing that you do in every shot that for me when I figured this out was a huge difference maker in my lighting, which is shooting shadow side.
This video has so much value I’m just blown away completely. Thank you thank you thank you (and thank you!)
And thank YOU just as much

You are so welcome!
Thank you for saying "film looks" and not youtube's most cliched term "cinematic". It made the difference between me watching or not watching. Also nice ideas! In fact, your use of the grid inspired me to try that for an upcoming project I'm working on where that'd be totally appropriate.
there is a difference sometimes! I prefer Film but it goes hand in hand
