  • I've been following Jay Leno KZhead channel for over 10 years. About 10 years ago, I was working in West Africa managing some facilities for an American Oil & Gas company. One of these facilities was a helicopter hanger in an airport (the helicopters were used for crew changing the offshore crew). One of the light fixtures fell and damage of the blades of the helicopter. It was a 10kg halogen light. I had just watched a Jay Leno episode a few weeks earlier about the LED lights that Jay was (and still is) using in his garage. I contacted the company and got the same lights for the hangar. Every time I see an episode I remember this story. 😊

I love that he shares his collection with people and loves to take them for rides in cars the vast majority would never see in a lifetime, let alone ride in. • As a comedian/talk-show host, Jay was one of the few who was consistently humble and gracious toward his guests. He was supportive of nervous guests, kind toward children and animals, and he didn't get bent out of shape when a guest (like Robin Williams) might steal the show. Others, like Letterman and Conan O'Brian especially, had mean streaks that would come out fairly frequently, and lacked Jay's genuine warmth. The only other comedian/talk show host who was as gracious toward his guests was Craig Ferguson. Jay and Craig are the only two among their contemporaries whose companionship would provide real human value, in my opinion.

  • If it ever gets to be, Jay has a museum with every single one of his cars in there each one with say some sort of television with Jay explaining everything about that particular car obviously, each car would have to have their own little television with the time. J knows talks about just about the complete history of that one car, people would flock to that museum even if it was spend a weekend at Jay’s museum you literally would have to spend a weekend to see every car and listen to Jay talk about every car would be one of the 10 natural wonders of the world because he’s done a super job. I enjoy listening to each one of his stories and how he gets and what he done and what it was and those forgotten ideas and thoughts thank you, Jay.

  • A couple of years ago I attended a car show in St. Augustine Florida. There was a "Make A Wish" family there that told a story of touring his garage. Jay wasn't supposed to be there but showed up, personally showed them around, and let them take pictures, sit in cars and they had a great time. It was a personal story and very important to that family. Class.
