    • Man, kudos, for stepping in there and being willing to do it again, I respect anyone who has the courage to do so; but as a person who has been involved in the sport for a while through jiu jitsu and has been around a ton of fighters over the years, what you're doing is very dangerous. I get its for content, but if you can't put in the work to fight, it isn't a good idea. If you enjoy MMA, keep training for a couple years (even if it's only a couple times a week) and then maybe pursue a fight when you have the ability to put real time and energy in toward it, if you are really trying to win and not just doing this for content. You don't really even understand the basics and most amateur fighters have been training for years and put the work in every day, everyone's circumstances are different but you need to put the work in over a much longer period of time or you're absolutely going to lose again and possibly get very hurt. Don't mean to come off harsh, but that's the honest reality.

  • As someone who has done this for years now. I don’t know if I want to see him fight. I mean mentally he’s not there 100 percent. And in any other sport it’s like “okay fine no problem” but in combat sports not being 100 percent there is a good way to hurt yourself and bruise your ego even more. It’s so cool that he had a fight and worked hard for the journey but if he’s got other stuff going on there’s no reason to fight. We fight because we either need money or we love it that much. He doesn’t need money and I doubt he loves it to the point where his life is gonna revolve around it

  • I am not the type of guy that likes to throw hate but I think Aria should really not do this I am a amateur fighter (3-0) and I have been training since I was 14 years of age, I am 20 now and I am still not a pro, if Aria goes into the cage with a pro he is going to get hurt even if its a low level one, Im not hating here but you can get really hurt in mma especialy if you are not in optimal condition, I think if Aria still wants to fight is ok its his decision, but I would recomend him to train a couple years and fight an amateur fighter, if he wants to go pro and win thats at least 7-8 years of training, some special individuals can do it sooner but aria is not the case, I hope he reads this and give this a thought because its his health that he is puting on the line (sorry for my grammar I am not an english native speaker lol)

  • The thing that's most important in a fight is mentality. If your heart's not in it, you've got no chance. When you get into that cage, your thoughts should be "This guy's a bum, I'm gonna execute my gameplan and be eating dinner before this guy even knows what happened." Make sure you train so hard that you want to make the guy pay for putting you through all of it.

  • He’s just not a fighter.. Mentally he just doesn’t have “it”. MMA fighters are truly elite when it comes to combat sports and the sport has evolved so much the past even 5 years. Every fighter is so well rounded in every area. Most have a strong base of grappling. Wrestling, judo BJJ. I boxed but for a while trained at an MMA gym here and considered it but decided to roll a few times with a few of the other girls there and just got absolutely destroyed within a minute.

  • I’m not rooting against the guy, but he just doesn’t have it in him. He boxes like an 11 year old who’s mom signed him up last week. As soon as he gets lightly grazed in sparring, he drops his hands and let’s out a sigh. A big portion of fighting is mental, and he doesn’t have the strength in his brain.

    @Marco-qy3rw@Marco-qy3rw2 жыл бұрын
    • I think everyone has the capability to do it if they stay patient, and put all their attention to learning so I’ll say he doesn’t have it in him ‘yet’. The problem with videos like these is the urgency to get into another fight. His priority is the fight and not the learning itself, and that’s just not the way to go about combat sports. People who have been training for years upon years have conditioned themselves to be calm and prepared for virtually any situation in a fight and he’s just not getting that at this point in time. As you said a big portion in combat sports is the mentality, you can teach a guy to punch but it’s not going to do much if he doesn’t learn what to do mentally when getting punched. I think if he just put aside this need for a fight, and spent some hard time training and just wanting to be better for the sake of being better he would do a lot better.

      @zacbright244@zacbright2442 жыл бұрын
    • I completely disagree with you. Watch his actual fight. He 100% has the fighter's spirit, and showed it during his fight. Look at the pure concentration on his face as his opponent's punches barely missed him. Or just remember that he let himself get choked out before tapping. However, I think he just doesn't actually *LIKE* martial arts, so he hasn't spent years honing his craft. He thinks he can grit his teeth and ''get through'' a fight camp, and somehow that'll allow him to be competitive against someone else who's been doing something they love for years. Bro is trying to prove something to himself. That's admirable, to some extent; but it one fight camp will never compare to years and years of building a proper foundation.
