    • She lacked a lot in terms of financial aspects. Once she had a great run from qualifiers to almost winning WTA 500 in Moscow, she had enough money to hire a better and more suitable coach and afforded all the traveling expenses, she became more consistent and fixed her Backhand but she is a natural and talent

  • Sabalenka's power in that TianJin match is so extraordinary it is hard to imagine her losing. Again speaks to how wta tennis is more of a mental warfare than a power hitting exhibition.

    • That’s what makes tennis fun, you have players who can counter that power (Wozniacki/Hingis )and draw some errors and others who just bludgeon the ball (Serena/Sabalenka)

      @ARZ1987@ARZ1987 Жыл бұрын

  • Collins has had the most racquet changes over the years. And if penko got as fit as she was as here/top junior she could be unstoppable. And at least Aryna got to play her idol close the first time and got her the next time. It’s like watching Sharapova 1.0 vs 2.0. Amazing how inspirational she and the Williams sisters were. Those 3 players alone have given young girls the courage to work hard and dream big. So many talented strikers came up with clone games. Tennis as a fan for decades it’s fun yet bittersweet to watch the changing of the guard. With Serena now gone, it give tremendous excitement Venus wants to hang in a little longer.
