Sharapova-Sabalenka is a melody for the ears.
what????
You know something is wrong when you make Sharapova sound like the quiet one.
I'm surprised I wasn't hearing about Jabeur after that match against Wozniacki. Even though she lost, her skill was there in plain sight.
She lacked a lot in terms of financial aspects. Once she had a great run from qualifiers to almost winning WTA 500 in Moscow, she had enough money to hire a better and more suitable coach and afforded all the traveling expenses, she became more consistent and fixed her Backhand but she is a natural and talent
Cause theres tons of skilled and talented players that never did anything substancial on pro tour, so Even if the skills were there, the results werent, simple as that
This was the first time someone grunted louder than Sharapova.
🤣🤣
Already in 2015, Jabeur had some incredible shots :O :)
sabalenka loosing from being 5-1 up is such a sabalenka move...
Ons has always been talented 🥺. She still uses the same moves till now. It’s just a pity she didn’t have sponsors who could fund her career earlier on.
She wasted so many precious years of her youth (22-27 years old) sitting out so many tournaments because she just couldn’t afford to go to so many
Sabalenka's power in that TianJin match is so extraordinary it is hard to imagine her losing. Again speaks to how wta tennis is more of a mental warfare than a power hitting exhibition.
That’s what makes tennis fun, you have players who can counter that power (Wozniacki/Hingis )and draw some errors and others who just bludgeon the ball (Serena/Sabalenka)
It was not extraordinary power. There are and were players who hit consistantly harder that Sabalenka. Serena, Venus, Kvitova, Pierce, Cljsters, Davenport....
@@erianmaxcic6052 I think sabalenka hits a heavier ball than clijsters and pierce
@@BlizzyFoxTF Maybe harder than Clijsters but definitely not harder than Pierce. Pierce on her peak was the hardest hitter ever probably.
Collins c'moning after literally every point in this reel. 😆
Annoying since the beginning...
Holy shit, 31 winners for Ostapenko and 1 for Navarro :D
The sabalenka/sharapova match LMAO
350 dB combined....
That Tianjin final seemed like a slam final. One of the most hard hitting matches i have ever seen. Many brutal rallies played.
If I am not mistaking that was the last final Sharapova has ever won.
@@bulzangeorge1054 exactly
Its annoying that the wta didn't had highlights video for this!!:(
@@shaharrosenberg8659you can find them Still
Collins has had the most racquet changes over the years. And if penko got as fit as she was as here/top junior she could be unstoppable. And at least Aryna got to play her idol close the first time and got her the next time. It’s like watching Sharapova 1.0 vs 2.0. Amazing how inspirational she and the Williams sisters were. Those 3 players alone have given young girls the courage to work hard and dream big. So many talented strikers came up with clone games. Tennis as a fan for decades it’s fun yet bittersweet to watch the changing of the guard. With Serena now gone, it give tremendous excitement Venus wants to hang in a little longer.
FYI .. Badosa was 17 during her match against Pliskova, not 18.
12:50 Screaming war.
Sabalenka looks like a boxer hhh jabeur the talent but she wasted a lot of time because she couldn't find financial support
Skinny Ostapenko😂😂
Half an Ostapenko 😳
chill
hot as hell still today but back then OUCH!
@@kevinpatrickcarey3741 dude, get your eyes checked. On what planet is ostapenko hot today? 😂50yo aunt lookin ass
I remember most of them I started to watch women juniors in 2016 (I mean junior slams the tournaments rarely stream) and I still do all those juniors climbing rankings today or 18, 19, 20yo I knew before "the fame" (Raducanu, Leylah...)
I followed WTA closely when Jabeur first came out, watched her here and there over a couple of years and thought she's one of those quirky entertaining players who'll never develop the consistency to be top 30. Was so shocked but happy to see her climb at a relatively older age when I started watching WTA again in 2021
5 years later, jabeur ended wozniacki’s career
Lol. She might have beat her in Wozniacki's last match but ended her career, no
And we thank her for that
Amazing to watch Pliskova win a match.
Excellent idea!
Kasatkina, Krejcikova and Kontaveit in the next one please!
Can't wait for part two 😍😍😍😍 Can i request Elena "Ivan drago" rybakina for part 2 ?
Wow Sabalenka really lost a set from 5-1
12:37 the screamfest between both players are perturbing and crazies
Damn Ons looks so cute in this
jauber made QF at Paris a few years back when she wasn't even top 50
DanYell!
Mirra Andreeva should be the newest one added to this list of what will be future champions!
Jabeur the best❤❤❤❤
One thing you can always say about Danielle collins is that backhand was always lethal and that come on gas always been annoying 😅🥴
2:27 Ons 🔥 But I just watch more after this ...just WOW just fantastic , I wish her Grand Slams! Get well soon Ons !
I hope she can win a Slam soon, it would be well deserved! We know she has the talent to get to the finals of them just not win yet 😢
@@taslover2264 I'm Iga fan but I want Ons take GS even against Iga. Ons style is very unique, creative and she is very nice person
Omg, Collins screams after every point
I miss Masha
Ons ATE that up
Ons is excellent ❤
Lol back when she was DanYELL
Why do these always feel like yesterday
Jabeur never had it. I remember for years we could only see her like twice a year on a WTA level when she’d be awarded wild cards to Doha&Dubai tournaments (obviously). And she wouldn’t pass a round on any occasion. Then a cpl of years ago she started to get better and better to many’s (me included) astonishment. I’m glad her hard work pays off.
She won Rolland Garros in junior age ,dont forger!
wrong. You can see she had all the moves and shots that make her successfull nowadays. She just lacked fitness at that time and had a bad coach
Y’all just type and say trash. Do you know that she struggled with funds because she wasn’t from a popular country and rather than all what you just typed🙄
I remember she tore a ligament at the very start of her career and it kept her out for months, obv hindered her tennis. She started to find her range in 2016-2017 and onwards. But the talent was always there
Woz played horrible and she still beat her.
Wow! Ostapenko used to be skinny?! What happened?!?
pancakes
She could have health issues that contribute to weight gain, don’t be rude.
@@CardinalTetra yes mommy
Oh dear... Ostapenko was very fit... What happened to her now?
Had babies I think
she didn't had babies hahahaha. its could be something that relate to her health.
I guess it’s a food issue 😂
Why so much Focus on her looks?, ive never seen her struggling phisically in a match si it doesnt seem like she lacks training, what she needs it's stop being si one dimensional with her game
pancakes
Danielle Collins I mean WOW
Did not know that Badosa used to use both her parents names.
Like every Spaniard.
Sabakenka so funny... In the end she still loses
Que maltratada le pego Ons Jabeur a Caro Wozniacki y que buena q era porque se las aguantó todas...
This was good but I can't believe you excluded Coco Gauff
she was top player from day 1. Since she was 15 she was stellar top 50 player
she's been pretty much in the top 50 since she was like 15 lol
Sabalenka / Sharapova OMG
You would of had to have ear-plugs to be at that match!
Badosa has just been hot forever
No Iga?
Badosa was a much better player at 17 than she is at 24.
How? A couple of hot shots and thats it? Look at the score and imagine how much balls she sent anywhere or to the net
More aggressive from what I remember.
Oh my days. I forgot how penko used to be fit, it's absolutely crazy. If she was as fit as she was as a junior, she'd be much better. Though it wouldn't changer her nasty attitude...
Tbh her problem never was fitness, Even today i don't see her struggling on court, but the real problem it's the one dimensional Game she has.and never changed it, ive never seen her aprpaching to The net, hitting drops, slices, chanching pace, nothing, just hard hitting from side to side
@@diegosotomiranda4107The problem wasn't her fitness! Even players out of form can win GS if they get the right draw.
Sharapova vs Sabalenka loudest match ever😅
That would be Sharapova against Azarenka from what I've seen.
Osta now looks like she ate her twin
ostapenko used to be skinny
and HOTTTTT
And...? There's no sense in pointing out how body's change. It happens to everyone!
Damn, Collins was just as overly confident back then. Saying come on doesn't make you win the match, unfortunately.
Ajona gained so much weight between 2015 and now
Jabour always had it, just was lacking fitness. Badosa was never a prospect, I don't have idea how she got to top 10, I don't see any top player qualities in her. Collins was amazing collage player, her core strenght is unbelieveable. Ostapenko is incredible, but she just don't want to train and keep her diet. Opposite of Sabalenka who put ton of work on practise courts and it pays of.
I mean she hasn't done anything post IW so just a good year really
@@deusexmachina9776 what has she done before IW?
What a dumb statement lol
But that shouting ufff..aaarrgh…ooofffff…uuuhh…the loudest final ever also.
hard on the hearing hahha
jabeur played great but god wozniacki was HORRIBLE in that game
Back when Simona played clean..
She still has done and will continue to do.
Penko was not fat
Some of y'all in this comment section need to grow up and realise body's change over-time.
Collins was somehow even more annoying back then
She has certainly toned it down over the years but she is a product of the American college tennis scheme and the players there tend to be very rowdy and vocal. Very annoying, though!
This is my first time seeing Sabalenka. It’s obvious that she is trying to use her grunts and over the top screams/roars to intimidate just like Serena did. Particularly late in her career. It’s very unpleasant to watch, and I hope this trend fades out sooner than later.
