That’s how a young hippo grows up to be Batman hippo.
Not going to lie.. I tried pretty hard not to laugh. 🤣🤣 The timing off, but the joke was there.
He’s going to grow up and become VENGEANCE. The hero no one wants but the hero everyone needs.
He became bestie of the lion gaurd!
Lions didn't kill his mother, she was already dead. No need for revenge.
@@lukeskyvader3217 Way to ruin the gag Skywalker
She most likely had several offspring during her lifetime, but he's the only one who knows how she died. He's still a young hippo, but looks big enough to take care of himself while with the herd.
You know what tho? He's gonna grow up to be one of the toughest SOB's on the block.
If he even survived the week
Easily the toughest if there’s no rhinos or elephants about.
Yeah He’s dead.
hippos all talk no action against top predators
@@FiftyBuckCrusader True This baby don't have a clue. What life is about. No adult was there to teach it. 😢
Wow, good thing he finally realized he needed to get away, but it seems animals do experience frustration and confusion and must have been traumatic to not only realize his mother died but was going to be eaten. Sad.
@@tf5pZ9H5vcAdBp No one said they don' experience emotions; however, it's vague at best for you to say, the full range of emotions and complex thinking. Obviously, most animals DO NOT have complex thinking skills. Also, frustration is a very different kind of emotion, even for humans, then separation and seeing the horrors of slaughter. It's not one size fits all or even most.
Most mammals can feel joy, fear, anger, sadness, etc. Some feel it more than others. All mammals can at least feel fear. If they didn't they would not be alive for long. The rest can be argued but not fear. Even if they don't fear initially, when they are getting eaten and ripped apart they definitely feel fear.
They really do. I show all my animals the pet that went to rainbow bridge to let them understand. My dog saw my pet rat and went in the passenger side seat and put his ears down. He was upset and emotional for a few days. We both watched a empty cage until I got a ferret . Lolz he hated the ferret for three years . Now the dog plays with him and chases him
@davidcarbone3385 Many mammal and bird species are more intelligent than most people think but probably hippos aren't very smart.
I've read they are very territorial and dangerous but I met a friendly hippo in South America who was happy to receive carrots from humans
He looked at the lions, memorizing their faces... marking them for revenge in the future
Yeah sure…that’s exactly how that works….LOL!!!!

This hippo might end up being a problem for the local lions when it is fully grown. Animals remember things.

They were lethargic and already had more than they could eat, you can see how full their bellies were when they ran at him.
They only eat when hungry Unlike humans.
He’s on the menu for next week
They are not like greedy selfish destructive humans. They focus on the food they get and leave it at that until it is necessary to find food again.
Those lines are toast once that hippo gets older he'll remember them
Hippos don't hunt lions, their only oppurtunity to kill a lion is when the lions come hunting and one makes a mistake.
Now I understand why hippos charge and attack anything that moves in the savanne..
It’s heartbreaking but that’s the circle of life 😢 This baby hippo made the right choice to save his life or he might have been eaten alive by all those ferocious predators
@@kenswireart88 though this video does show that there are sometimes exceptions. 1:39 that lion was going for the 2 for 1 buffet. If the hippo doesn't make that sharp right that caused the lion to slip in its turn, the hippo likely ends up with a lion on its back. Fortunate favors the bold - most of the time, just not for that lion on that day.
@@tuxedotservo The lion didn't give his best effort. It looks like he 'chased' the young hippo away in a merciful manner, because if he stayed, he would've easily been killed.
@@soundmoney4all24 big cats attack prey in a burst mode - a quick, decisive strike that quickly gets the prey to the ground. To conserve energy, they will not pursue prey for a long period. It's not "mercy" - it is energy conservation. Saving up for the next prey that gets close enough to pursue. The lion was closing distance on that hippo. If that hippo doesn't make the sharp turn, that lion is on it and taking it to the ground - then you would've seen what mercy means to a lion... nothing. This is what the lion was going for: kzhead.info/sun/Y7ePYcauhZOnlqc/bejne.html
If you are blonde and you got blue eyes you should marrie someone like that to have blue eyed blonde babies
The adult hippo just died it had nothing to do with the lions
to humans, this is sensationalized drama that calls for sad/action filled music and dramatic voice narration. for nature, there is no right or wrong in any of this, just an ordinary Tuesday
because this is KZhead. which means a platform of sound and visuals. if you know the game here.
No one said it was wrong. It's still sad, though.
It may be sensationalized here, but it is still a brutal existence for these animals. One that our ancestors have endured a million times over.
@@hugoclarke3284what makes you think humans still don’t kill each other ruthlessly ☠️
There must be a right and wrong at least for the creatures that endure this pain. They are capable of getting angry at these predators however because they lack episodic memory and have a low mental capacity, they can't plot revenge(Some of them do as futile as it is) This was our reality some generations ago and still is in undeveloped nations and warzones. Those animals aren't "nature" they are critters inhabiting it.
That young hippo will be fine. His instincts are there. He’s big enough to defend himself. Likely he’ll live a long life.
I hope so & I pray that he does live a very long time without killing any human being especially if they’re not in his territory. If they are by mistake then hey shit happens. I don’t want it to happen but I just kno that’s how life is. Very sad to watch him mourned/grieved like that💯💯💯
